Sthal: Baffle him into it, else you’ll have to wait three years for him to even hold your hand--marriage until you smooch him. Sthal responds best to scholarly intelligence, gumption, and a stubborn streak to match him. Also affection--he’s secretly a big ole pillow for snuggles or such.

Helios: He is a weird ball of formulas and such for what makes him tick--but it’s pretty simple to be his friend at the same time. To be his fucking special interest though? By God, you are going to have a time. Firstly, he’s paranoid as hell. Secondly, he’s allergic to getting attached, so he’ll hightail it if he even SMELLS he’s getting a feeling for you. Thirdly, he’s a bit insane, his brain cracked from the corruption to his aether from [redacted]. And finally, he has a poor opinion of himself and thinks he’s not worthy of affection, or the wrongs he’s done in the past as well as the present. You wanna wade through that? It probably takes a lot of stubbornness and gentle attention, wiggling through his defenses without him knowing. Gently taking the knife out of his hands at people and himself, distracting him away from the misery and self-loathing he’s hellbent on focusing on, and putting him in a calm place. After he’s so full of a person he can’t breathe or think without finding them there in the corners of his mind, well--then he can’t really refuse it, can he? That he’s caught the Feelings. After that, he’ll give up and awkwardly attempt to accept and reciprocate the Feelings back. His Hyde personality, though? Above does not matter, it’s a whole other story with him.
