Alternatively the anime just confirmed Ingo going to Hisui as late as right before the events of Scarlet and Violet but personally I don't believe that and the Anime canonically is a different universe so eeeeh??? But whatever helps you sleep at night king.

#just because #Akari is 15 and Dawn is like 10???#so there' s gotta be 5 years between DP and PLA going off the assumption that they are the same person which. is all but confirmed lol #and we don't know how long is between DP and BW but there are 2 years between BW2 and according to some Grimsley concept art #which HEAR ME OUT I KNOW is hypocritical after I complained SO much about people saying Ingo was in Hisui for at least a decade #based off of HIS concept art but counter argument: elements of Ingo' s concept art was retconned VERY harshly in Path of Solitude #BUT ANYWAYS #Grimsley' s concept art for SM says it' s been 2 years since BW2 #meaning 4 years since BW which means at LEAST 4 years since DP #so in conclusion: it' s sad as fuck but Ingo was in Hisui BEFORE Akari so he's gotta be there at the latest around Sun and Moon #BUT #Ingo canonically NOT in Hisui in the anime! rejoice!#pkmn anime spoilers #pkmn #pla #pla spoilers
