#laya plays dragon age#oc: liam hawke#he got downed twice and anders also died so in the end it was aveline and a barely-alive varric against the rest lol#pretty sure everyone fled that room asap when the fighting started & meredith spun the narrative about what happened how she wanted#the fight was A Mess and all everyone saw was hawkes confrontation with the arishok beforehand#so it prolly wasnt too hard to paint him as The Hero#im assuming meredith at that time is hoping to have an ally in him; hes already pretty important in the city in his way after all#and giving someone from the guard the credit might pose more of a threat to her power?#idk#in any case liam did not come out of that fight well lol he is uh. not doing so hot <3#dw he'll be fiiine#tho it definitely wouldnt have gone as well without anders there#with a less skilled healer and a little less luck his spine couldve gotten Permanently Badly Damaged so. thats good that that didnt happen!#:)
