ok so in my new wip I've got three children (and one adoptee) to the big boss.
One will marry the person their father told them to marry and be in a happy couple.
One will marry the person their father told them to marry and be in a bad marriage.
One will marry the person they chose instead of their father's choice and be in a happy couple.
One will marry the person they chose instead of their father's choice and be in a bad marriage.
Anyway I love narrative foils and I'm soooo going to make them suffer. I mean I had no obligation to create them all since only one of them and her family will be relevant to the main story.
