among all your cotton and silk pajamas, you prefer the thinning fabric of his faded tees. there are holes in some of them, just a few more seams away from their undoing as they fit far too large on you—but that’s why you love them.
they’re comfy and worn; lived in with love from the man that you love. when katsuki is gone for days or weeks at a time, you find his warmth intertwined within the threads of his t-shirts. when the fabric presses against your back, the bed doesn’t feel nearly as empty as it is.
(though it can never replace him. nothing can, you fear.)
“hoggin’ all my shirts,” he tuts, but you know it means nothing. the roll of white fabric is neatly folded unto itself, its crisp corners unfurling once handed over.
you giggle, shaking off its folds and fitting the hem right over your head. from the corner of your eye, you see katsuki’s gaze, watching you wrangle the fabric over you as the towel wrapped around your body slowly drops to the floor.
he turns away then, a little too quickly, a little too abruptly. if you look at him now, you’re sure you’ll find flushed cheeks and crimson eyes burning in shame for wanting you so inopportunely.
can’t stop thinking about how joseph quinn had his breakout role in a netflix show where he was a complete nobody working with a bunch of known stars and he only had like 1 hour of screentime where his performance blew the entire world’s mind. and now, arguably, he has one of, if not the, BEST acting career/opportunities out of literally everyone in the cast.
a thousand oscars for joseph!!!!!!!! a thousand emmys to him!!!!!!!!
One day, the New Vanilla Kingdom court suggested the king and queen to let one of them school Honeysuckle up until her young adult years, but was surprised when they turned down the offer.
"It would be a shame to confine her in the lavishes of the castle.", Vanilla explained. "We want her to experience the world to its fullest, to open her mind to cookies and sights she's never seen before. Honeysuckle has a big heart, and it would be a shame to throw it to waste."
It was an agreement on his and Lily's part to raise her to become not just an heiress, but a compassionate young girl whose path in life isn't predestined by her regal bloodline. She's already had dreams of traveling the world like they once did, and was dead set on fulfilling her dream of riding a dragon when she grows up.
So upon bringing her to the Vanillian kindergarten for the first time, the two can't help but think about the future she's going to have. Though, judging by his sniffles and tears, Vanilla might have been too ahead of himself...
WYB: It turns out that mountain climbing is very similar to our lives. It takes a lot of hard work to reach the peak of life. You see some scenery, and sometimes you continue to challenge yourself. If you want to climb to a higher mountain to see it, it is a challenge. Maybe you just went down, or maybe you saw the best scenery and then came down again. It may be more similar to my current acting job. If you went down smoothly, you may be older. It’s hard to say whether it will be possible by that time. I'm afraid, but I hope I can keep a good attitude and enjoy the time when I was at the top. I recalled the wonderful moments at the top, so I think I can keep those wonderful memories in my mind and enjoy the whole process. I think it's okay. Try your best to climb more mountains, right?
