There’s something so fun in the way people always get exited for a new superman movie. The movie theater felt so alive and full of people knowing that whatever this movie was going to be, it was gonna be a fun experience, this is definitely one of those movies you MUST watch in community.

I enjoyed it so much more than i thought i would, and after trying to figure out why, i am convinced it has to do with the way the movie focused so much in the human side of Clark instead of his powers and amazing action sequences. There was a deep understanding of what makes superman such a comfort hero for people in general, he actually interacts with people and cares deeply for the everyday citizens and it was highlighted by the amount of time he spends talking about it being his main purpose, and i really enjoyed that. 

Oh and i absolutely have to talk about the amazing visuals of the majority of the movie, the colors and use of white spaces to emphasize something important was amazing, as well as the “hero shots” like clark saving that little girl in slow motion or him rising up through the ashes of the bridge falling to the ground as he watches the woman drive away safe-

Superman has everything that makes a super hero movie feel safe and comforting and that made me enjoy the experience so much more.

Watching this movie was all worth it just to see that last scene of addison and zed singing ain’t no doubt about it alone in the hill in front of the sunrise ☹️, apart from that,i just kinda hate how they’re starting to milk this franchise just for the sake of making more money, disney use to understand the meaning of leaving their franchises to rest when it was time. Bless meg and milo for giving their all and caring so much about the legacy of their movies, they’re the only reason why i even cared about this fourth movie.

To me, zombies will forever be just about a cheerleader and a zombie falling in love and bringing to worlds together though their love, that’s it, just a simple silly little concept

I stated watching We Were Liars thinking it would be another light summer show about a group of friends having funny little teen drama, but it ended up being one of the best shows i’ve seen about trauma, grief and generational trauma and the long time effects of it. Watching these kids trying to break their family’s trauma was sad and painful. Realizing half of those memories were just Candence’s mind dealing with the pain and the grief totally BROKE ME, but watching her running away from all the adults throwing her grandmother’s pearls to the ocean (the physical representation of the generational pain of the family) while wearing Gat’s necklace was so beautiful but also bittersweet as she was also leaving behind all the memories with the liars.

All i can think about is that famous quote “what is grief if not love persevering?” and that’s exactly how i can describe this show. Grief can feel like a dark whole but it brings us close to the ones we love in so many ways and that’s why we hold on to it.

it's so sad that the innies think the outies have all this life and freedom that has been denied to them and meanwhile mark is a depressed alcoholic who lives only in dim lighting, helena cuts eggs in pieces so small the fork shouldn't be able to lift them to her mouth, dylan and gretchen's marriage is desintegrating, all irving has is black coffee and black paint and the black hole of vengeance that wants to swallow him whole... it's just so fucking sad they have the physical means to reach for and grasp all the happiness denied to the innies and they still can't. they're too damaged to. they've drawn a chalk circle of hell around themselves and they never step out of it. the innies' lust for life is the only thing that will help them break the cycle. we can't, we can't, i'm ready, we can't, i'm ready, i'm ready, i'm ready.
