And we can assume that Faulkner, given his backstory, has not had access to medical transition, (if that’s even something he wants, which actually, I doubt? Also, because he never gets misgendered, there must be some kind of socially recognised visual shorthand for gender identity in TSV-world? Whether that’s something like pronoun pins, or else clothing choices which are strictly gendered, or maybe something more subtle, like the equivalent of an ace ring?
