There have been far too many bee casualties in my pool from them trying to drink from our pool so I decided to make a #beebath. It’s super easy to make: plant stand, glass pie plate, rocks and water. I place it in a shady area so the water doesn’t get too hot for our little visitors - mine is in my #pumpkinpatch under the arch. I love the harvest season!!! I’m fighting the urge to pick all of these tomatoes - wanting to make #salsa!!! Another few days and it’s on! My beautiful Kittia! Don’t let all that cuteness deceive u - many have been lead astray by those lovely eyes. I have not met another cat with as much #moxie #tortitude and #cuteness (that should not be trusted) as my baby girl. She is brave beyond her size and is too smart for her own good - if she wants it she will find a way. She growls when someone comes to the door and will #slapahoe if need be. With all that being said, she also has a sweet side, she loves to be carried around like a baby and will purr till her heart’s content while being swaddled. Gotta love the rain! Last week I removed the old tarp from off my chicken/bunny barn, because the elements over the last year dilapidated it. I was not prepared for all of the rain we got today, so my we ran to #harborfreight and got a new tarp for the roof. Needless to say - a torrential downpour decided to happen while I was securing the tarp to the roof. I actually loved it! I’m a water-dog by nature - it was so invigorating 🌧. Chickens and bunnies are safe, dry and happy - everyone got new, dry straw - and I went inside and took a nice hot shower.
