So for the past 2 years I have been doing that working as CTO of Blocpower. Blocpower uses technology to enable energy efficiency project in underserved neighborhoods (Check me out saying more on what we do here - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Du0iYMHeJoc).  So being a Dad and my work took front seat over my creative work.

This week I have given myself a week to get back to that creative work but still mix it with my technology core. Here at Culturehub they have been developing some open source software to change the game of creating and collaborating utilizing the web RTC. I am going to help develop that open source project while pushing my own creative work forward.

So here I am.

I think it's clear from the master  media manipulator running the country to the continuing revelations of how we were all manipulated by Russian propaganda that how we are all represented in media is possibly more important than ever.

Large tech companies like Facebook and YouTube are reckoning with the fact that their open platforms for content aren’t always drivers of positive outcomes.  Their experiences fail to bring real connection between people and allow for human and machine manipulation.

Well what’s the solution?

I believe that some of the solution involves connecting real live experiences.

So that’s what I am trying to do here this week.

Trying to take steps to create technology and storytelling experiences that have the ability to connect us and have better understanding of the shared human experience.

And that is my mission statement.
