While I do think it's kind of a weird marketing choice for the Sour and Guts albums to seemingly have near-identical aesthetics, I also think swifties have a weird tendency to impose "eras" on every single artist. like sometimes pop artists just want to keep making pop albums that fit the personal aesthetic of who they truly are not everyone wants to completely reinvent themselves and their sound and their vibe every two years xx

Just adding to the larries liking taylor swift, i think one of th reason is that most of the larries are part of of the lgbtq community. And in our community, Taylor is very loved. She's a gay icon. It's easy to just brush away the shits that happened with haylor since it's in the past. Also these larries thinks it's a double sided bearding. There is this theory about how TS was dating Diana at the time of haylor. I believe Diana also sometimes thirdwheel to haylor's dates. That Out Of The Woods is about when their stunt is ending or smthng. OR this larries could be just newbies that already like Taylor Swift and couldn't careless about Haylor since the y didn't get to experience how horrible that time was.

For me, I think I just tolerate her. Some of her songs are good. But I am still annoyed at the annoying songs she wrote about haylor. 🤢 Can't escape it tho, since two of my sisters are swifties.

Hey anon I do know about those rumors I personally don't feel the same on the matter of her being 🏳️‍🌈 tho I don't know much about her music past the "h**lor songs" to truly say. But for argument sake let's say she is isn't that worse when it comes to this topic? She would know what it is like to be a closeted celeb and yet she still used a fellow closeted celeb to make herself look like a victim and them the "toxic ex womanizer who treats women like trash." People may say oh it was all her team like sure her team may have initially decided for her to get involved in a fake relationship with H but all the slandering of H from her at one point that's on her. If her team did tell her to say all those things and it wasn't her personal choice to drag H then give her a fuckin oscar bc she did a damn good job playing the role of I'm a victim of a shitty ex and here is why.

So I [along with anonymous mutuals] believe whether she is or isn't 🏳️‍🌈 she still dragged H through the mud with almost all of 2013 promo/award season being her dragging "her ex" aka H and we just can't get ourselves to be ok with that. And during the time period of h**lor's relationship L&H were fuckin miserable every day.

Of course here we are 10 years later and he is STILL being asked about her and whether his songs are for her and to no suprise he fuckin hates it. She unintentional or not caused them a lot of trauma and was the reason H womanizer image sky rocketed in 2013. So it will never make sense to me how someone can claim to love L&H proudly "being a larrie" while idolizing her.

I do think like you said most of those who love her are newbies who just weren't around in 2012/13 time period to know what happened bc if they had been they would know how much it fucked them up. And don't even get me started on how most of these stans think their ✨️ besties ✨️ with her.

This interview from 2012 will always be a huge deal to me in understanding how they felt about the situation and her. When Lou was asked what his thoughts are of H&T relationship Lou makes it clear not only are they not dating but their not even friends. This was literally Lou reaction/body language throughout the whole 3 month ordeal.

Lastly L&H celebrated when it ended. They clearly don't care for her, want her to stop being brought up and to move on from her but some of their own fans sit here and try to paint them as friends.

two of the most frustrating things about endgame kaylors are 1. the numerology and colour symbolism why do you encourage this nonsense taylor, and 2. the wilful forgetting that taylor likes to use and reframe common phrases, and their WONDER that maybe there's a karlie intstagram or twitter that has the same phrase 2 years ago. (3. is the eye theory but some of them at least have the self respect to know that's complete nonsense)

I’ve honestly never seen any good numerology endgame Kar takes lol. It’s always super convoluted and requires like a whole damn page of working out to make it to one of their birthdays or December 4 which... I’m not sure why they’d commemorate the latter tbh even if it were truly a day that made them rethink their PR strategy (which it wasn’t). Whereas most of Tay’s legit uses of numerology is just stuff to make the number 13. Or like putting 89 next to 91 on Endgame MV. It’s pretty silly to call that a “het plant” and simultaneously believe in (x+y/z*100)-89= Kar’s birthday.

Tay does do colors tho. There was a green eyed muse, and someone gold and there is someone blue. The blue and gold people overlap sometimes and lowkey I think she did write gold references for Karlie but then shifted some of them round for some of the blue person to become golden too. But mostly given a number negative references to gold (eg gold cage hostage to my feelings and all of gold rush) and the continued positive references to blue I... I mean y’all know what I think lol it’s not a sekrit at this point and I don’t want to spell it out so the bitchy biphobic anon doesn’t come back and try drag me again lol.

With regards to phrases I think sometimes it’s young fans or ESL speakers who might not realize many of these are, in fact, very common phrases. Like idk I just think Tay does have so many actual clues and most of them are pretty straightforward (see for example her “throws self at the base of a willow tree at midnight” lmaoooo) that we don’t need to go 5 years back to a time Karlie (or even likelier Kar’s intern) said something vague on Insta and be like “I connected the dots!!!”

But also as I always say: IF IT MAKES YOU HAPPY, WHY THE FUCK NOT? There’s a mean streak in a lot of the cynics and in many of the... professional antis that I’m not entirely here for. Like it’s obvi amusing to dunk on the really, really, reaaaaally bad takes but if it feels fun for people and - importantly - they KNOW IT’S JUST FUN CLOWNING and it is ALMOST CERTAINLY NOT TRUE then whatever let them see hands and eyes and whatnot. I think it’s shitty that a lot of the het fans get to do that without very many eye rolls but queer fans are really loudly mocked. I personally do think they dated but like.... literally years ago. If they’d had a child the child would be, like, on the verge of starting middle school pretty much. It was genuinely forever ago.

Contemporary Haylors are literally the stupidest fandom. Like even if - and I don’t think they did - they dated for real for real, it was the most manufactured and brief and stunty thing ever. But there were and are still MANY of them. Bruh like HS is WB was a super POPULAR THEORY.

Legit Swiftwyn shippers also have a bunch of theories about sekrit marriedz many of which are suuuuper dumb. Like are they marginally more rooted in reality? Sure. But a lot of them are still st00pid and they’re mostly clowning and playing themselves too. But nobody ever bothers them really. Which is lowkey annoying for me.

So idk. I think there are for sure dumb Kay theories but I also think the glee with which people debunk them makes me 👀
