Dc au- Being a plant dad is hard when some of ur plants are brats

The temperament of the plants Shadow raises/experiments with depend on the temperament he’s in at the time of making it. So if he’s calm when doing his plant experiments the plant will be pretty chill but when he’s mad they’ll be rlly aggressive and try to eat ppl

When he’s feeling the horrors specifically the plants will get all eldritch horror looking physically

Thinking about these three having fun is my favourite thing

Knuckles tries to run through ‘patrol rules’ with these two every night they go out cuz they always conveniently forget a few

Dc au- Tails is always raring to go on patrol and is usually the first one to get his costume on when the bat-signal lights up the sky

A few times he got so excited that he forgets some parts of his costume

Because of his unstable mental state his super form is also unstable, flickering between normal super sonic to fleetway at random so him going super is always a huge risk

It happens the exact same way in the bad timeline (just a less stressful context), it’s shadow and his chemistry set’s fault

Guy wanted to experiment with his own dna and plants and it made a cool looking plant but then that plant sprouted a plant child for some reason and now they’re stuck with a plant child that they didn’t want.

They can’t give it up for adoption either cuz they plant children are unsurprisingly not common and they didn’t even have any resources to even learn how to take care of a plant baby so if they gave it to anyone else the baby would most likely die or something cuz the ppl taking care of it won’t know it’s needs either

They didn’t even know if it drank milk or not, or if the lil guy could even eat, so they’re pretty much trial and erroring this shit

Just very fun shenanigans happening in the very very far future
