Starting from the top left is Sonic the Hedgecat (aka Daybreak Sonic). This is the Light Gaia counterpart to Sonic the Werehog. Hedgecat Sonic is lean and slender, with large ears, a long tufted tail, and sharp, insectoid green wings. His blue fur is several shades lighter and paler, though his muzzle, underbelly, and paws remain dark brown. His quills have turned a pale orange with white tips, turning up slightly at the ends. The tip of his tail and the tips of his claws are also orange. His eyes are a bright lime green, with white where his pupils should be.

To the right of the hedgecat is a soft redesign of the Werehog, now also known as Nightfall Sonic. In this form, Sonic's build is less slender and more bulky, with fluffier fur, broader shoulders, and thicker limbs. His quills are far thicker and fluffier. His ears are small and pointed, curving slightly inward. His eyes are dark green, and his pupils are enlarged, the black almost engulfing the green completely. His fur is a desaturated blue, and his quills are dark purple, with black spreading from their tips like ink. His large claws and short, wolf-like tail are tipped with the same black.

The rightmost design in the top row is Twilight Sonic, a fusion of hedgecat and werehog. Twilight Sonic's fur is darker than the hedgecat's, brighter than the werehog's, and more saturated than both. His green eyes, likewise, are somewhere between the hedgecat's bright lime and the werehog's dark forest. The Twilight form has the hedgecat's insectoid wings, but they are now a cooler green, and have a bend in the middle like an arm. The edges of the wings are worn and tattered. His tail is longer than the werehog's, but shorter and fluffier than the hedgecat's. His quills are dark blue, with pale blue on their bases near the head and on their upward-curving tips. His tail, similarly, has a pale blue tip with a ring of darker blue below.

In the bottom left is Super Sonic. His fur is a rich gold-orange. His quills are pale yellow and curve smoothly upwards, not just at the tips like the hedgecat's. His eyes are purple, with light purple pupils; text beside them notes that they can shift color depending on his mood, but are usually purple.

To the right of Super Sonic is Nega Sonic. Nega Sonic's colors are the inverse of regular Sonic. His fur is a rusty orange, and instead of dark brown, his muzzle and underbelly are a pale, icy blue. His quills are pale yellow, like Super Sonic's, but don't curve up. His eyes are pure black with magenta irises and white pupils, and his teeth are likewise black with white edging.

Finally, in the bottom right corner, there are two designs for Sonic as a toddler and a child. Behind them is a png of his teen design (said teen design can be seen here) for comparison, at a slightly lower opacity than the rest of the drawings. Toddler Sonic (in the 2-3 year age range) is very small, his head only reaching to just above teen Sonic's knee. He is chubbier than his older selves and has stubbier limbs. His ears, on the other hand, look far too big for him. His fur is paler than teen Sonic's, while his eyes are much darker, almost black.

Child Sonic, who is somewhere in the 7-11 year age range, has richer colors than Child Sonic, but still lighter than teen Sonic's. His eyes are more obviously green, but still darker than his teenage self. He is brown markings have a reddish hue. He is much taller and leaner than toddler Sonic, but still a head shorter than his teenage self. His ears still look oversized. /end ID]

can't make a redesign of Gaia AU Sonic without taking his transformations into account. these are all still rough drafts, mostly so I could test how the new, still developing design would fit with his different forms. it was also a chance to play around with colors. shout out to my brother for giving my feedback despite knowing full well I would go with the opposite of whatever he said. you're a real one Iz.

I made a Sonaze fankid!! One of the benefits of multishipping is that I can just put random characters in a blender and out come some of the cutest OCs I’ve ever made. I’ve had Firecracker for less than a day and I would kill for her.

Firecracker is the daugher of Sonic and Blaze, and the princess of the Sol Dimension. Her parents didn't plan on having children; they were in a long term relationship and intended to stay together forever, but since Sonic is too much of a free spirit to join Blaze ruling in her dimension and Blaze couldn't simply stop being royalty, they never planned to get married or settle down together. However, both of them felt in the back of their minds that parenthood might be nice, and one day, the Sol Emeralds decided to turn those feelings into a reality. Cut to Blaze frantically calling Sonic for help as she holds a mysterious child in her arms.

(So, basically this:

Firecracker was mainly raised in the Sol Dimension, but she goes with her parents to Sonic's universe from time to time. Her role as princess is very important to her, and she tries her hardest to be prim and proper in order to best fulfill her duties. However, like Sonic, she always craves adventure and the rush of wind in her quills. So when she isn't busy fulfilling her obligations, she can't help but remove her heels and flowy skirt so she can run around to her heart's content.

Introducing a bunch of my sonic ocs that no one really asked for, but I felt like drawing!

The "Squad of the Future" redux because the squad got bigger

Each character and a little bit about themselve's under the readmore!

Angel Robotnik-Cemerald the Cat

The oldest of the squad, being a few hundred years old now, though she lost track a long time ago. She is a clone created by Eggman, using both His and Vick's Dna, made to be the perfect heir to share his eventual kingdom with. ... Well she got his smarts and his love for building, but thats about it. She has to keep her little half brother, Draco, out of trouble.

Draco Johnathan Cemerald-Robotnik the Hedgecat

The "brains" of the group, 12 year old Draco is the son of Vick Cemerald and Shadow Robotnik. He has a problem with his arrogance, but doesn't hesitate to put himself between his friends and danger. He's constantly bugging his big sisters, both his half sister Angel as well as his full sister Raven. Demetre is his very best friend.

Demetre the Porcupine

Demetre is Draco's keeper, aka the one to always humble the dumbest smart person he knows. With his ability to fire his quills at a rapid rate, he's more of a long range attacker. He enjoys science, like Draco, though isn't quite on his level.

Henry the Bearded Dragon

Henry is a quiet kind of guy, usually having his nose in a book or drawing sick comics. He's a tad self conscious about his looks, so he tries to look the part of "bad boy". But with his big heart and stupendous healing abilities, he's a great ally to have.

Kevin the Armadillo and Mesmer the Hedgehog

Kevin is the literal big brother of the group, with his little Sibling Mesmer always by his side. They may not be the strongest of the squad, but their experiences in life make them invaluable. Mesmer is always reminding everyone that theres time to smile, while Kevin reminds them of responsibility that they all share.

Lexis the Sloth

Lexis is the powerhouse, with an explosive power to gather potential energy and turn it into kinetic energy. To prevent herself from making a destructive mistake, Lexis prefers to spend her free time sleeping, either in a bed or where ever she can get cozy.

Prince Kappa of the Kingdom of Shells and Princess Marina of the Kingdom of Urchins

Prince Kappa and Princess Marina are two royals from the same continent, one madly in love with the other. I'll give you three guesses as to which is which. Marina's father, King Marin, wants the two to be wed in order to combine the two kingdoms. Kappa, however, as a single heir to a kingless kingdom, does not want this. He does not like Marina in that way and just wants to be friends who hang out.

Jaque the Hedgehog

The Dream Walker, Jaque has the ability to enter the astral plane in his sleep as well as the dreamscapes of others. He is incapable of having dreams of his own. Usually he's the therapist of the friend group, unable to help himself on coming upon nightmares when called out to.

Piper the Retriever

Although not the oldest, Piper has big Mom friend energy, scolding the more irresponsible of the group often. While having no powers to speak of, she has a great sense of leadership though claims that shes no leader. She loves to take care of her friends, especially when they forget to eat, sleep, or sometimes breathe.

Axel the Meerkat

The strongman, loving to casually show off his strength, Axel has, you guessed it, strength class abilities. He is a mute sort, never seeming to utter a word, though no one really knows why. His best friend Gou seems to understand him regardless.

Gou the Porcupine

Gou is a Speedster, only able to launch a single quill at a time but with great precision and speed. His best friend Axel tends to keep his class clown attitude in check, but with his big mouth its hard to get out of the tricky situations they get into. He uses a cyber sleeve on his right arm to gather intel, and to also sometimes watch videos on TuYube.

Dr. Nikolia Moore the Tigeress

Nikolia is the team's Medic, being the only one of them certified with a doctorate in medicine as well as nutritional health. Her deadpan face can be intimidating to most, but her heart is that of a mother. A mother who will rip off the head of something hurting an innocent, a friend, or worse, a child. She is a strong believer in Doctor/Patient Confidentiality, and would never out someone for anything with out asking if it was okay to speak on the matter. She and Angel are Colleagues.

I have returned from The War (my recent Stardew Valley addiction) just in time for Sonic Day. May I present to you: this thing. I had the idea that it would be funny to make little "infographics" for my needlessly convoluted role swap AU, with the addition of Blaze being the punchline of each one. Naturally I then sunk way too much effort into it. And then I didn't post it for over six months. Whoops.

If you aren't familiar, this is a summary of my old Sonic Unleashed roleswap fic, Sonic Leashed. You can read it on Archive of Our Own (my personal recommendation), Fanfiction.net, or DeviantArt. It has two completed sequels (or a sequel and a sidequel, rather), and I've nearly finished drafting the third. The writing quality increases with each installment and Sonic Unleashed fics are a dime a dozen, so if you'd rather skip right to the Colors rewrite you can consider this your primer. maybe. Luckily, Storm seems to be a pretty chill guy to hang around with. Jasper doesn’t mind too much that he’s using their back as a leg rest, and Axle seems especially fond of the hedgecat’s electrical ability in that arm of theirs. The ability makes them fast friends; roasted round fruits are a rare delicacy that Axle is especially fond of.

MAIN CAST:

Sonic the Hedgehog

Recurrent Hero on Action, loved by many and hated by others, Sonic the Hedgehog aka “The Blue Blur” and “Fastest Thing Alive” has been assisting the entire world from the clutches of Dr. Eggman. Right after the events of Infinite vs. The Resistance, Sonic and Tails decided to get rid of any tracks of the menace that Infinite was. On their way inside one of Eggman’s many labs, they found not only traces of a new threat but also a young but cautious naïve girl that could be either their strongest ally or their worst foe.

Miles "Tails" Prower

With an IQ of 300 just like Dr. Eggman, this cunning yet smart young fox is Sonic’s adopted little brother and Hero in Action as well. With his skills and scientific knowledge, he was able to decipher the true origins of Project K and what was her original programming. With a bit of persuasion and compassion, Tails assisted Sonic in taking care of Project Katedown (actually known as Kookie Star) to not only “reprogram” her into not being a menace but an ally for the Restoration HQ.

Amelia Rose

Cute yet deadly, is the Pink Fury in Team Sonic and Co-Founder of the Restoration HQ along with Ex-Commander Knuckles the Echidna. With the unexpected appearance of the mysterious “Kookie” in their relationship, Amy has to deal with the jealousy and closeness of this girl to her boyfriend, Sonic. After a while and for the sake of this poor girl, she and Sonic had to give it a break, making not only Amy her Big Sister figure, but like a mother in some way to her.

Commander Shadow the Hedgehog

G.U.N.’s new Commander by choice, Shadow the Hedgehog (formerly known as Project Shadow) is the world’s “Ultimate Life Form”, rival of Sonic the Hedgehog and Kookie’s secret teacher. Shadow took the mission to observe and possibly assist Sonic in teaching the girl the art of Chaos Energy, and combat. Of course, his purpose is to fulfill this mission with the sole purpose of observation, and in case the situation gets dire, intervene in eliminating the girl if she poses a threat to humanity. However, thanks to her naivety and innocent demeanor, reminding him of his old friend, he decided to be softer and take care of the girl.

Princess Blaze the Cat

Princess of the Sol Dimension and guardian of the Sol Emeralds, who has sworn to protect everyone she deeply cares about no matter what. Ever since Kookie’s sudden appearance, she has been another important source of learning and trust just as Sonic has been for the girl. Being her 2nd teacher, after Sonic’s Speed Control teachings, the Princess has been teaching her how to control and use her Pyrokinesis Prowers properly, and also self-control and yoga teachings to help her have auto control over her powers and emotions-inducing rage outbursts.
