ALCOA,TN—Two goals late in the first half ignited Bearden to a hard-fought 5-1 victory Thursday against a stubborn Alcoa squad.

Five different players made the scoring chart. With six minutes left until intermission, Dillon Sims finished a Jack Raulston breakaway and cross for the Bulldog’s first goal. Two minutes later,Raulston launched a beautiful, arching pass from midfield to a streaking Lucas Ford to the right corner, who beat his defender and blasted the far post side netting, giving the Dawgs some breathing room with a 2-0 margin at the break.

Midway through the second half, sophomore Aidan Ainsworth assisted fellow soph Omar Adahji for a score, then tallied one of his own nine minutes later off a combo assist from Sims and Ford. Another sophomore closed out the game when Ahmed Dkhiri converted Wylder Lee’s pass in close for the final 5-1 margin. 

GK Logan Nelson showed off his strong leg with several booming goal kicks across midfield and Shawn Spencer ruled his turf on the defensive end.

Outside the box.........The JVs won in another blowout, 8-0.........Alcoa added a nice touch by having a very talented soloist sing the National Anthem before the game.…....Woof!

ok pippa and her polycule. LOVE them i think it’s incredibly funny that teo will get lightheartedly asked how his gender is going and he’ll say ‘jury’s still out on that one’ SOLELY because one of pippa’s dads is a lawyer. teo is allowed in because he’s not a man definitely but past that? who the fuck knows. he’s probably transfem in some way but is using he/him for now.

also when they meet mal and ophelia (ALSO EXCELLENT MALLIA IS THE BEST DYNAMIC FOR REAL) pippa HATES mal arbitrarily (not really they were mean to eddie and pippa LOVES her little brother so she went into defence mode) but the thing is.... roxy really likes ophelia? they think she’s really cool? she’s 5′10 and an absolute unit and very very hot

and so roxy jokingly goes ‘we should invite ophelia and mal by extension to the polycule’ and pippa sits back and goes ‘...we DO have a vacancy for a jock. we could have someone fill the jock position’ and ahmed (her dad), who is coming in to offer them tea, says ‘i love how you talk about your polycule like it’s a company’ and roxy goes ‘does that make sophia human resources?’ and teo goes ‘absolutely not sophia is RUTHLESS’

and pippa continues to hate mal and mal continues to hate pippa and roxy continues to befriend ophelia. and roxy meets up with mal in a Secluded Area one time and explains how pippa is VERY smart, her dads are a LAWYER and an ENGLISH teacher and i don’t know if you’ve ever met a child of an english teacher but they’re very smart and have a weird set of complexes and are very scary and she’s hellbent on not liking you, but luckily i, roxy, am here as a peace offering (or something to that effect). and teo comes up behind them like ‘hi mal this meeting is over i’ve come to get roxy because soph knew they’d be here because she’s ruthless. come on roxy. i would say it was nice seeing you mal but i’m trying to remain on the winning side of this argument so i’m legally obligated to say it wasn’t. bye.’

(teo has a lot of fun with lawyer jokes. he doesn’t actually know what a lawyer joke is.)

BUT if their polycule WAS a company (and private companies are corrupt i dislike them especially after something that happened at school today) pippa would be ceo, sophia would still be HR, roxy would be PR and teo would run a department. idk which one i’ve never been in a company and i don’t know how they work :)
