OMG IM GLAD IM NOT THE ONLY ONE BOTHERED BY PARTS OF TOTKS STORY LOLL I am not a fan of the sages at all

YEAH THE STORY IS MY BIGGEST COMPLAINT. and absolutely agreed on the sage stuff. i like the new sages because of my attachment to them from botw but as far as the actual sage plotline goes i don't give any shits about it.

#asks #trixie tag #it's like i said earlier how botw's story revolves around it being an open world game #you're told the main point of conflict at the beginning and the actual story of botw is filling in the blanks and adding context #it works because all of the memories are disconnected enough so that even though there is a certain order you can do it in any order you #like and have it still make sense. i suppose the only exception would be how zelda goes from hating link to being his friend if you missed #the yiga clan memory but like it's not a huge deal imo #but in totk the story just. does not work #like i keep saying this but i got the master sword after getting the third sage. so by the time the zelda puppet plot twist happened not #just the player but also link knows where she really is?? and there's also that one memory where ganondorf is literally disguised as her lol #another example of it not working as well would be when i found the memory that showed sonia's grave begore i found the memory of her death #scene. so it made her death scene A LOT less impactful #sorry for going on a tangent the story is. not very good jdkwjd #totk spoilers
