three more months before i’m fully in control of my emotions. and then what? for such a long time i felt like a passive observer in my own life watching the sand run out. and now that i’ve taken charge i can make myself do things that i should “want” but really don’t associate with any active human emotion anymore. so i’m just guiding myself through everyday life under some notion of discipline and completionism. you can’t have it both ways can you
