#sorry imagining clem and gus in a more modern setting is so funny to me#clem has a like a small-moderate instagram following showing how to take care of yourself on a budget#and giving sewing tips and occasionally giving out or selling clothing patterns she made#sometimes she takes commissions#not a huge following but she's well liked. she also sometimes talks about disability stuff because y'know#and then she casually mentions one day that her husband is getting a book published#and mentions the name of the book#and it's one of those books that was self-published crowd-funded a-la that r/nosleep story penpal#and a small section of her audience is like wait. hang on. that guy does weird internet horror shit#and find his reddit account and his relatively unknown youtube horror arg and are like YOU'RE CLEMENTINE'S HUSBAND???????#and gus is theatrical and stays In Character in his horror spaces but his audience quickly learns that like#the ONE way to get him to break character is to get him to start hyping up his wife
