What is Love? (BBIEAL rp)

*Taimi’s been wondering what Love is and what it means since it’s been tossed around. She knows when bonds are different but doesn’t understand many words. After all she lived alone in the woods all her life. Taimi thinks it’s best to ask A&C,Bully,Fangirl,File,Foreign,Jeremy,Orenda,Player,Playtime, and Superstitious about it guessing they know about it better since she sees a different bond then the rest. Though she also doesn’t know there’s different types so she plans to ask around. She goes to Superstitious to ask her first*

Superstitious: Hi Taimi! Nice to see you are you intrested in some tea or something?

Taimi: I’m wondering about something....I hear the word a lot and I’m wondering what it means

Superstitious: oh? Well tell me the word and depending on the word I’ll explain it to you

Taimi: What is Love?

Superstitious: Love...There’s different types of love and it can be used to call people that like a nickname people tend to call others nicknames sometimes calling people nicknames and people would use nicknames when referring to loved ones in general *Starts rambling about nicknames*

Taimi: Uh Superstitious

Superstitious: Oh sorry so there’s different types of love like platonic, parental, romantic, sexual, infatuation, lust, self love *Starts rambling about different types of love*

Taimi: Superstitious

Superstitious: You get the idea the Ancient Greeks have 8 types of love Agape which isaltruistic, selfless, unconditional love and some people would connect it to spiritual love. There’s Eros the romantic love it is usually associated with romantic, passionate, and physical love. It is an expression of sexual passion and desire. Eros tends to burn out quickly because of its passion and intensity....The ancient Greeks were scared of it for different reasons in other words Eros is Lust... Anyways there’s Philia known as the platonic love the ancient greeks preferred this one since it was considered equal to everyone when people feel this type of love,affectionate love felt between friends  . Philautia is self-love. Storge is familiar love different from Philia but similar it’s more parental love in other words this love is more like a parent-child love. Pragma is enduring love it’s the opposite from Eros, Pragma is a love that has matured and developed over a long period of time. An example is a old married couples who have been together since their teenage years and still hold hands. Ludus is known as playful love it’s known as the early days of romance since it’s basically infatuation. It’s like your under the influence. The last one is Mania the obsessive love. It’s the type of love that can lead someone into madness, jealousy, or even anger. That is because the balance between eros (sexual) and ludus (playful) is terribly off. If not kept under control, mania can be very destructive in some cases.
