The Perfect Prank

     "Lloyd!" A shriek echoed throughout the Bounty. I casted a sideways glance to the little gremlin who just gave me a smirk. 

     "Were you the one who added "electric blue" hair dye to Jay's shampoo?" I whispered, turning the page to the lesson book Wu had written out. He gave a silent nod while cuddling into my side, peeking at the book. “Alright, then. Anyways, for the next lesson, the ninjas need to learn—”

     "Lloyd!" The door slammed open in front of us, and I raised my eyebrow at the sight. Jay's naturally light brown hair was starting to show hints of "electric blue" dye I was eyeing at the store the other day. Damn it. It’s such a pretty color too. Maybe the lavender hair color would be better though. 

     “What’s up, Jay?” I asked nonchalantly, turning to the next page. “It suits you well. Plays into your electric gremlin thing.” Raising my stare to the lightning ninja, it took almost all of my self-control to not bust out laughing at the blotches of blue. 

     “That little punk did this!” Jay shrieked, stomping into the room. “I know he did!” He pointed an accusing finger at Lloyd who just focused on the book. 

     “Lloyd’s been here since yesterday. He’s been rather interested in his father, so I’ve been telling him stories.” I refuted, knowing that Lloyd 100% did that. “You know, I did see Kai going to the same shop the other day. I thought it was weird he was in the hair dye aisle.”

     “Gosh darn it, Kai!” He yelled again before resuming his warpath. The door to my room shut promptly, never slammed because Wu would be on us in an instant. 

     “I have some sour gummy worms. You want some?” Lloyd whispered conspiratorially after we could no longer hear Jay. He pulled it out of his hoodie before passing the blue one. I gave a small nod, taking the worm and popping it into my mouth. 

     “I have “inferno red” under my bed. You wanna hit Kai tomorrow?” I whispered back after a few minutes. Lloyd’s reciprocating smirk was all that was needed to confirm.
