Taking my own advice and trying more writing. Bringing back my Mumbo is Father Spore thoughts for this! At first it was going to be smut but turned into some soft. This was going to be sent to Bluiex's blog but it won't let me. So you guys get this instead

The pile of papers seemed to be endless. Roads needed to be built, people needed to get shop permits, lighting, complaints, and so much more.

If he had known just how much there was to do as mayor. He would have rethought running for mayor, not that he didn't love Hermitcraft and the hermits. He did, just the work was so much more than expected.

Rubbing at his eyes Scar looked out the window trying to figure out how many nights it has been since, since he's had a goods night sleep. To many at this point he figures, sighing he turns back to the mound of paperwork that isn't going to take care of itself.

He was starting to miss the days before his mayoral ship. And missing his friends he hadn't seen since he became mayor. He was busy sure, but never to busy to see Grian and Mumbo. Who knew what those two were getting up to since.

Resting his cheek on his fist he stared at the papers before him. Before long his eyes slipped close, sleep finally catching up to him. He wasn't sure how long he was out until he felt a hand on his face gently caressing his cheek. Humming softly at the feeling Scar's eyes fluttered open, taking a moment to focus on who was in front of him.

"There you are."

A soft voice coo'd at him, continuing to carcass his cheek.

"We were worried about you for a moment."

'We?'

Scar's eyes snapped open finally focusing on the figure in front of him. Mother spore had made themselves comfortable on his desk. And was the one who had woken him up, jerking back he looked around the room for the other person.

Sitting on a couch he had in his office that he'd use for naps at time. Scar spotted Father Spore sitting silently watching him, small smirk on his face. When had they entered his office?

Flustering for a moment Scar found his footing looking back at Mother Spore.

"Come to corrupt me Mother Spore? Or am I just lucky and getting a late night visit?" Scar forced a smile, this was the last thing he needed right now.

Mother Spore huffs at his question, hopping off the desk before making their way to his side.

"Now where would the fun be in that Scar? We'd rather you be awake for that. Besides, we did have other plans but." Mother Spore leaned in closer, causing Scar to lean back some in return.

"When was the last time you slept?"

Scar blinked back at Mother Spore, what kind of question was that. Why would Mother Spore care when he slept, even better question. Why wait to try and corrupt him when they could take what they wanted.

It was then he got a good look at Mother Spore, it must have been obvious that it clicked who Mother Spore really was. Since Mother Spore, no Grian chuckled softly at his expression. Scar quickly glanced over at Father Spore too before looking back at Mother Spore.

Now he knew why Grian and Mumbo had gone quiet, they were the leaders of the resistance. Swallowing hard he locked eyes with Grian, who was now looking at him worried.

"Scar, have you been getting any sleep?" Grian's previous teasing tone now gone.

"A little." Scar mumbled in return. "There's just so much to do as mayor you know, theres -"

Before Scar could start rambling Grian pressed a finger to his lips stopping him. Grian felt cooler to the touch than Scar could remember, not that he had memorized that before.

Grian tutted at him before grabbing his hand and spinning his chair, so that Scar now faced him.

"That won't do, now come on."

Grian tugged Scar's arm gently trying to coax him up, which Scar should have protested. But the news of who Mother and Father Spore was with the lack of sleep was catching up to him. Grabbing his cane he let Grian help him up.

It wasn't long before Grian was leading him to the couch, sitting down at the other end. Grian patted him lap after pulling Scar down to sit. Scar gave Grian a puzzled look which got a small sigh from the man.

"You are going to take a nap, now come on."

Grian patted his lap again, leaving no room for Scar to protest. That didn't spot his face from heating up just a little. If Grian or Mumbo noticed they didn't say anything.

As Scar laid his head down in Grian's lap, Mumbo pulled his legs up into his lap. Rubbing slow circles against his aching legs. Scar couldn't help the soft sigh he let out as he got comfortable. He missed this, missed them.

As Mumbo massaged his legs, Grian started to card through his hair. Causing Scar's eyes to flutter shut, exhaustion settling in. He hadn't noticed just how tired he was until now. Yet something Grian said wouldn't let his mind finally shut down. Peaking an eye open to look at Grian.

"What did you mean that you two had other plans?"

Mumbo finally made a sound, laughing at Scar's question. Grian grinned down at him, mischief dancing in his eyes.

"Don't worry about that right now, Scar, maybe if you are good for us and sleep. We'll show you what plans we had for you later. For now, sleep."

The way Grian purred that at him made his face warm. It was a promise he'd like to find out later, for now. He nodded listening to Grian closing his eyes falling in to a deep sleep.

"Scar? Scar!"

Scar jumped when someone yelled his name. Blinking at the person who was calling him, he seen Bdubs bending over him staring at him.

"Did you sleep in your office?! Scar! You need to stop pulling so many late nights and go home to sleep!"

Bdubs scolded, continuing on about how important sleep was as Scar set up looking around the room. Grian and Mumbo were long gone by now, Scar wondered if he had just dreamt them being there that night. How lonely was he to dream about them.

That was until he finally got Bdubs to end his tirade with the promise of taking today off and go get some rest. Upon his desk was a small note, folded in half.

Opening it up was a small note, a promise from Mother and Father Spore that they will see their favorite Mayor later. So it wasn't a dream after all, with a smile he left for home. Ready to see his cat and his bed.

Unknown to Scar, there was far more waiting for him at his house. The two who had made the promise to see him again, had plans to keep that promise sooner than later.

I think this is the longest I've wrote for the blog LMAO. Mumbo doesn't talk much here since he didn't really need to but sure he has more to say to Scar when he gets home <:3c

Hopefully this makes sense LOL I started to get tired near the end I still see Grumbot pointing him towards the block that will turn him. Making him Father Spore, who Grian follows quickly after they end up losing

I love the fallen angel skizz imagery also the whole deal of Skizz being the start of the boogeyman curse, its so good. One of the nicest guys causing this bloodthirsty curse so good

I love listening to my friends talk about stuff they love. It makes me SO happy, I might not understand it but seeing the happiness of them? The best thing Ever Like yes please share your happiness with me even if I don't get it, just tell me everything

Have some small rancher brainrot I like to think Jimmy can't cook to save his life. Good thing is Tango can, but its not actually well known that he can besides a few close friends. So to Jimmy's surprise and delight Tango can cook and cooks absolutely delicious meals for his rancher

I'm begging people to realize GIGS is just 4 guys having fun in a ghost game and not them playing characters. Shipping them is just, weird since they are not in character Also begging people to realize you can tell your friends you love them. And it can be Platonic and isn't romantic. It happens a lot, all the time. Esp if they aren't playing characters Getting real close if not stepping over the line of c and cc here and its getting weird

Remember you are not at fault for the abuse you got. You are brave even if you don't feel like it if you have left, come forward, etc. You are brave if you are trying to escape or have to stay a little longer. You will get out you got this Support abuse victims. No separating the art from the artist, not wells or buts, show victims the support they deserve. But most importantly give them space, let them heal in peace and if they want to talk. Listen to them
