Space Camp Week, Day 2

Prompt: Sleep/Nap

TW: Death

He’s seen this before.

The soldiers, the weapons, the fear.

He’s seen all of it except him.

Krel stands surrounded by chaos, in the middle of a world of war and across from an even bigger one. Regret filled him as he watched the boy, hurt and betrayed.

“Why didn’t you say something?” His face was red with anger, steam practically coming out of his ears.

“I-I was trying to keep you safe!” He didn’t know what to say. He couldn’t let anyone get hurt. He had to protect himself from danger. Aja, his parents...Seamus..he couldn’t let them be hurt.

Amidst the chaos, Seamus walked up to him. Even though Krel was supposed to be taller in his akiridion form the other boy seemed to tower over him. As tall as a monster, of sorts.

Krel already knew he was the monster though. In more ways than one.

The blonde boy full of rage bent down, to look Krel in the eyes—it almost hurt more that way.

“And how safe are we now, Krel?” His voice was full of spite, as he extended his arms to reference the world around them. Humans and akiridions ran in fear, the Taylon killing each and every one. Broken cores laid everywhere.

“It was a mistake, I know that now…” Krel’s raspy voice pleaded for sympathy. “You don’t understand.” That might’ve been the breaking point, Seamus looked about ready to boil over. Hands in fists, eyes full of fire, Krel was certainly going to get it.

“I’m sure he understood perfectly.” If it had not been for the serrator, Krel would surely be the dead one. Instead, he let out an ear-piercing shriek as Morando sliced through his boyfriend from head to toe.

“If not,” The general spoke with a devilish smile. “He surely understands now.”

As soon as Morando said that, the world seemed to shake itself awake--and thank Seklos it did because Krel couldn’t handle anymore. He opens his eyes, nothing but a very concerned blonde shaking him wildly on the Tarron’s couch, where they had fallen asleep for the night.

“Krel? Krel? You alright?” Seamus asks. By the way the akiridion could feel his human skull tremble, he guesses it’s too dark for him to actually see if he’s alright.

“I’m up! I’m up!” he exclaims, the rough gesture finally coming to a stop.

“Oh..good!” A goofy smile appears on the boy’s face. “You were having a nightmare.”

“Yes, I got that. Thank you.”

“Do you..uhh..” Seamus pauses. “Wanna talk about it?”

Krel simply stares at him, the image of the other Seamus fresh in his mind.

Why didn’t you say something?

“I’m okay,” he sighs. “Goodnight, Johnson.”

“Night Tarron!”

He’d have to have that conversation some other time.

Day 6: "You're okay"

I redraw this iconic shipp scene, I also add an hc.

In the old days, Akiridians expressed their love or first crush by making their core glow.

This practice gradually disappeared, but some Akiradians continue to do it unconsciously, as if it were something natural.

Apparently a certain prince can do it even with his Latin appearance~

Krel: It's good for you~

I have the HC that Krel worries about Seamus' health upon discovering that it is not good for a human not to get enough sleep.

So Krel starts sleeping with him so that he fulfills his healthy sleep hours... Pajamas are also shared, Krel sometimes wears Seamus's pajamas and vice versa... as happens in the fanart

It's free day!! A little bit late, but I leave a few ideas and sketches that I thought during the week...

Day 5: Music

Seamus not only found an apartment to live in, but also a roommate who could help him with the rent. Krel changed his life the moment they met.

I recently finished watching Nana (anime), although my idea at first was for Krel to serenade Seamus or a parody of the flirtatious and romantic Mexican from the Mexican movies of the 40s.

Finish by drawing the scene where Nana gives Hachi a private concert on top of the table. At least the concept of Krel singing to Seamus was not lost, it just evolved.

A little bit of angust and a movie reference... I really wanted to re-draw this in digital, but I had this idea.

Seamus: That has nothing to do with it.
