hi! as someone who used to be active on deviantart, core can be gifted to other users like discord nitro. this could mean that kittycorn isnt actively paying for the subscription and it'll go away eventually. core also usually lasts for a month as well

but, if it does turn out that its being paid for, id recommend trying to directly tell kittycorn about this so kit can cancel it instead of making assumptions

if you didn't know, kittycorn has deleted all of kits posts on kits deviantART account. this sucks as it was an incredibly large host of art she had made over the years and i'm obsessed with archiving stuff (plus i personally really liked looking through it)

this is the explanation she gave out:

i find this reasoning very ridiculous and sort of hypocritical deviantART is very, very Zionist but... Tumblr is too. they silently ban Palestinian accounts all the damn time, so if you're gonna leave deviantART plus delete everything there- why not Tumblr too? (i'd hate if it was all deleted because of the aforementioned reasons but still.)

i know kc does repost stuff supporting Palestine and Palestinians but personally it feels like a pretty low amount to me. like, kit could be doing way more with that massive following of hers i feel? but maybe that's just me.

this isn't even the biggest deal ever but i just find the hypocrisy really strange.
