3 Questions for sparkpulse one whats windblade's relationship with chromia and arcee, is arcee a singer in this one since i saw your "rehearsal" art, What was elita one like before she got turned into blackarachnia was she still optimus partner in this one?
(content warning for third answer which is touches the topic of forced experimentation and mnemosurgery)
Chromia was the one who taught Windblade combat and how to wield a sword. They are friends and would spar often! With Arcee I would say they're friends, tho a bit more distant.
Windy used to be a pretty distant person until recent. Despite her main job as Autobot therapist along with Lifeline and Memory Detective, she was very socially awkward outside of her job. So making friends was difficult and people thought she just very private person like Blackaracnea and gave her a lot of space... which isn't exactly what she wanted.
So imagine the surprise everyone had when Bumblebee appeared and suddenly Windblade is friends with him and they act like they knew each other for a long time ( and thinking "but how? wasn't he just forged?") and even showing her playful and mischievous sides.
Windblade would tag along with Bumblebee everywhere and soon she picked some social skills from HIM, copying the phrases and even gestures. After that she can interact with people on her own~
Because she would hang out with Bee a lot, they have a lot mutual friends, mostly coming from SpecialOps Department. She's good friends with Jazz, Cheetor and Blaster.
--------
Arcee is an opera singer in my continuity, yes! And shares musical background with Slipstream, a violinist from the orchestra~
(also I def wanna redo this art, bc I think I can do better with her!)
Tumblr media
She is often playful on scene and might even come down to the orchestra and hang out near her favorite musicians as she performed. The purple and blue violinist as her absolute favorite :3
Perhaps, they can do this again in current timeline *wink wink*.
--------
While I took the inspiration from TFA, the main difference that Blackaracnea wasn't Elita-1 at beginning, she was forcibly TURNED into Elita-1 by Shockwave and his assistants during Fucntionist Era.
Shockwave always had a dream to create/reform perfect cybertronians for his purposes aka create the perfect cog for rich ppl profit and power machine, and BA was one of the victims.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
But because of nature of the spark, forced changes from the outside sources (meaning changes that aren't initiated by evolving spark itself) cannot stick permanently. That means those modified parts will be rejected and fall off, while the body will restore it's original form.
Shockwave tried to many way get around this protective protocol but all his experiments (including Cold Constructs) failed.
(Which is why he's obsessed with Bumblebee rn. The minibot has mismatching alt-mode and the only living Cold Construct. He wants find out why Bumblebee functions and try to replicate it.)
BA was eventually saved by Airrazor (later they end up dating), and she brought to safety among Optimus and his team. She's is historian like him so they bonded over this, while also befriending Jazz, Prowl and Megatron, and played a major role when they fought again functionism.
She also suffered from mnemosurgery (one of the theory that sense of self and memories is what caused the system to reject changes, which was also proved false), so even after she recovered and returned to his original shape, she couldn't remember anything of her past.
So for a looong time she known as Elita-1 until Devastation Era and Windblade appeared. Windy used her telepathy to finds bits and pieces of memories, that lingered even after mnemosurgery. She helped BA to remember who she was and even her name, tho the majority was lost. Still, it's better than nothing.
Also, she's not Optimus partner in this one ( Airrazor is her conjux), while Op have a close relationship with Prowl and Jazz. Which is a mystery for everyone else, bc no one knows if they're all conjuxes or amicas and mixed? Ppl only one know that three are bonded and that's it dhbfhdbgf

What's the maximals like in this au? since you mentioned airazor and what role they play in the story?
Maximals used to be one of the 13 beastformer clans from Primordial Era, which means they existed 400 million years ago. After Quintessons took over the planet, they decimated all clans and tried really hard to get rid of beastformers, while creating other frametypes.
Why? Because beasts are incredibly strong and way less compliant compared to vehicle and tool-mode cybetronians. (Which means even a beast-based cassette like Ravage can really mess up a big vehicle-mode cyberonian it he really wants to.) The latter only appeared because Quintessons had no choice but to dilute the cybertronian gene pool, lowering chances of beastformers being born. They pretty much tried to "domesticate" cybertronians.
Of course it didn't really help, and because evolution never stands still, eventually the animal-vehicle hybrids began to appear.
Starscream, who is a jet dragon is the most notable example.
Tumblr media
Another is Rubble from post-Sparkpulse timeline, who is a jerborro with jetpack.
Tumblr media
Beast- and plant-modes are natural state of cybertronians, and post-Sparkpulse all legacy cyberonians will eventually molt into a beast, plant, or hybrid modes. Like Optimus will become an ape with wheels! Or Windblade will become a sea dragon, trading her speed for incredible strength and endurance.

Sparkpulse Lore: Newsparks
Any cybetronian life is born from pods growing in Hot Spots. First the pod takes in mechon from the core of the planet (where dead bodies are smelted) and over times creates a protoform.
(Which is a thing I changed recently, before all protoforms were creating in the core.)
The protoform needs a spark to finish its development, and normally sparks don't recognise biolmetalic life as a suitable vessel for them. This is why this type of life depends on their Planet Titan, to put spark into protoforms.
In Cybertronian case Bumblebee is doing this job (or any overseer of the Spire when he was "dead" to activate AllSpark to run this protocol) and after a cyb finish their development inside the pod, it opens like a flower.
A Newspark is born with basic life and social skills (thanks to forging dream - a simulation that they go thought as soon as spark root itself into protoform) and maturity level is the same as human young adults.
They don't immediately leave the Hot Spot, bc they instinctively know it's a safe place. First, they try their body and what it can do (and they also need to detach themselves from the pod. They connected by 6 cords coming from the pod to their back. Once disconnected, the pod closes), if there are several other cybs born at the same time (which happens often) they bond with each other.
But they can't stay long in Hot Spot, so they have to get moving. There is an information displayed in Hot Spots for Newsparks saying where is nearest town and what to do, but also very often ppl from nearby towns come to check if there are newspark to escort them.
From this point newsparks go through a learning period that usually lasts for 20 years. They hone their social skills, their surviving skills, they get education and explore the world. Mentors aren't really a thing, thought some mechs could choose to mentor a newspark. Usually, the local community helps out with all this.
One visible thing that can tell you if a mech is a newspark are those ports on the back, with molting they gradually disappear in first 15 years.
During the period newsparks also can't take big jobs (or send on serious missions if it's during war), so if a cyb has an established job that means they are past this period, with maturity of 30+ year old human.
Fan fact: some Newsparks has their ports hidden under the cockpit or other elements. Like it was in Windblade's case. So when Ratchet examined Bumblebee for the first time, he noticed other signs of Bee's age like "freshens" of his plating and inner components. And since Bee also has a cockpit on his back, Ratchet never bothered to check there.
But if he did, he would see that Bee doesn't have any because he's a Cold Construct.

Sparkpulse Lore: ESPER Ability
ESPER is an acronym, applied to people with rare paranatural abilities. It stands for "Extraordinary Settings of Paranatural EmeRgence" and was first proposed by Orion Pax during Golden Era to replace the old offensive term "outliner" that was used during Fucntionist Era.
ESPER is determent by a randomized set of settings of a spark when it inhabits a body: if bearer will have this ability at all, which ability and its intensity. For a long time, it was believed that only cybertronians have a chance to be forged with it, but discovering humans proved it's not the case. The only difference is the fact that cybertronians have higher chances and their abilities are stronger than human's which might be the influence of the AllSpark.
ESPER can grow stronger over time.
It also can be granted by the Matrix of Leadership.
List of ESPER wielders.
This list will be updated as chapters go on.
Autobots
- Bumblebee: Spark Telepathy - the ability to sense and read sparks of all living beings in the vicinity and weakly communicate with them. Has access to Collective Unconscious, can enter dreams.
- Windblade: Mind Telepathy - the ability to sense and read the minds of sentient beings in the vicinity and communicate with them. Ability to enter other person's mindscape and alter it. Can enter dreams, but possibilities are limited.
- Ratchet: Magnetokinesis - the ability to create a strong magnetic field that can lift heavy metal objects, including other cybertronians.
-Mirage: Invisibility - the ability to render oneself invisible.
-Botanica: Florakinesis - the ability to control plants, organic and biometallic alike.
-Optimus Prime: Pyrokinesis - the ability to control fire.
-Blaster: Echokinesis - the ability to control sound.
Decepticons
- Starscream: Healing Factor - the ability to quickly recover even from grievous wounds.
- Skywarp: Teleportation - the ability to teleport on great distances.
- Soundwave: Mind Telepathy - the ability to sense and read the minds of a sentient being in the vicinity and communicate with them. Ability to enter other person's mindscape. They kept the ability in secret to avoid Cityspeaker duty.
Acid Storm: Hydrokinesis - the ability to control water-based liquids.
Nova Storm: Aerokinesis - the ability to control air.
Ion Storm and Thundermoon: Electrokinesis - the ability to control electricity.
Razorclaw: Magmakinesis - the ability to manipulate molten substances.
Humans
- Spike Witwicky: Danger Intuition - the ability to sense danger before it comes.
- Sari Sumdac: Power Replication - the ability to copy ESPERs of other people and use it as her own.

Explain city speakers and their role.
Oh yes, them! :D
---
Cityspeakers in my cont are like the canon idea: a group of cybertronians who can communicate with Cityformers - an extremely large cybertronians, second to Planet Titans in spark size class.
- All Cityspeakers have telepathy. The power of this ESPER can vary from person to person. For example, Lightbright used to be known as a powerful telepath. And Windblade? She even exceeds her that she doesn't even need any additional equipment to communicate with Cityformers, and enter other people's mindscapes and dreams.
- The reason WHY Cityspeakers were needed is that Cityformers weren't meant to exist like this. This frametype was Quintesson's invention, after they figured out how to use the AllSpark and Vector Signa to add this frametype to the pool (look previous post about creation).
Quintessons wanted to use them as weapons to take over more worlds, but there was a sliiiiiight problem - because of the spark size class they turned out to be Eldritch Beings.
Just hearing them talk would hurt so much, physically and mentally. Quintesson tried anything to tame them, but because of them and Planet Titans have such a huge spark, it wasn't possible. Many died during the research, which weakened their forces and gave cybertronian rebellions upper hand to chase them off their home.
And thanks to their telepathy, Cityspeakers are immune to such effects. They can talk and even visit their mindscapes and remain unscratched. Because of this, Cityformers often formed strong bonds with their Cityspeakers because they were extremely lonely.
Which also led to the whole cascade of horrific events that came after all Cityspeakers were killed, marking the beginning of Devastation Era.

Tell me all about the primes!
Generally, Prime is a title for a leader who takes the Matrix of Leadership, originating from the legend of 13 Primes that was popular during Functionist Era.
In fact, those Primes were believed to be the first cybertronians created by Primus and worshiped as holy deities.
In reality, they existed way back in Primordial Era and were beastformers! (And weren't called Primes at all, it was made up by Functionists in first place as their version of the legend.)
They were the strongest leaders of their groups when the first cybertronians were created. All 13 groups were scattered across the Cybertron and over time formed 13 beastformer clans, named after them. Later, their names became part of the god pantheon, right under Primus and Life Warden.
List of Diurnal Clans, who focused more on Primus as the supreme deity of the pantheon:
Maximals - named after Liege Maximo;
Vectorans - named after Vector;
Trionians - named after Alpha Trion;
Solunians - named after Solus;
Amalgans - named after Amalgamous;
Solomals - named after Solomus;
List of Nocturnal Clans, who focus more on Life Warden as the supreme deity of the pantheon:
Mortilans - named after Mortilus;
Onixyans - named after Onyx;
Micronians - named after Micronus;
Adaptals - named after Adaptus;
Alchemals - named after Alchemist;
Epistemals - named after Epistemus;
Nexuanias - named after Nexus;

Sparkpulse Lore: Sparks
Spark is a ball of powerful concentrated energy that lives inside the living body. In most civilizations, they're heavily associated with "souls" as they appear at birth and depart at the death of a living being.
Sparks play an important role in the life of living organisms: from making sure that the body follows its genetic code to serve as an additional brain, of processing of emotions, and storing memory.
Spark is the source of ESPER, and randomized settings determine if bearers will have this ability, which ability, and how strong the ability from the start. For Cybertronians sparks determine also their CNA. Upon the death of a living body, a spark departs to the dimension known as "The Well".
Physical Appearance
Spark looks like a ball of white-blue light, floating in the air and invisible to the naked eye, except for cybertronian spark chamber since it's specific structure renders them visible. It consists of two parts: the core, which varies depending on size class, and the spithasphere, the pulsing outer layer.
The Core
There are 7 general size spark classes, which determine which living bodies they can occupy.
Microscopic: microorganisms, including viruses.
Tiny: from moss and tiny insects to flowers to animals the size of the mouse.
Small: from bushes to medium-sized animals like dogs.
Medium: from trees and big animals and humans and small- and medium-sized cybertronians.
Big: from large trees and animals to big cybertronians.
Large: this class for especially large beings like cityformers.
Planet: those sparks exclusively occupy beings known as Planet Titans.
When spark departs from the Well, it seeks a body that can house it. There are different rules for each species, depending on the type of life form. For organic life forms, sparks prone segmentation: a process of dividing itself into microscopic segments that will occupy cells. Those parts are still functioning are one spark. They concentrate around the brain. If the brain is absent, then spark concentrates around other important organs.
For biometallic life forms and energoids in most cases sparks stay in one piece, but sometimes segmentation can happen: if a spark is too big for the nearby body, but there are multiple of smaller ones, it will divide itself into fitting sizes, creating split-sparks. Those sparks function separately as they occupy different bodies, but they still retain the connection.
The Spithasphere
This is the outer layer of the spark that pulsates in a similar manner to an organic heart. In organic bodies, those pulses are synched with the heart. If the heart is absent, the spark assumes this role automatically.
The cycle of life and death
The cycle consists of three main stages: birth, death, and the Well. It was created as soon as the first living being formed in the Universe and will continue until the ultimate death of the universe.
Birth
When a spark leaves the Well, it looks for a fitting body - not every matter is counted as a vessel. The body must be a formed the base of its species, meaning they will not pick an incubating body that yet to be formed. For example, a fetus that is being carried by a pregnant being is not a formed body yet, so spark will not choose it. Sparks will only appear nearby a few days before birth, usually swarming around and waiting for this moment. Same deal with eggs and even seeds. If someone has an ESPER ability to sense sparks, like Bumblebee, they easily tell who is about to give birth or which seeds are about to sprout.
In the case of biometallic life, like cybertronians, the process is different. Because they cannot reproduce, in order for a spark to occupy the protoform, it must be activated. This is only possible with the power of Planet Titan.
Death
If the body is destroyed or too heavily damaged, a spark will leave it as the body cannot sustain it anymore. If a body ages over time, a spark will slowly lose its grip on the body and will leave it behind, causing a natural death. If a spark is forcefully pulled from the body, it will die within minutes. When people describe their near-death experiences as "the light at the end of a tunnel" is in fact their glimpse into a dimension known as the Well - a place where spark departs after leaving a body behind.
The Well
This is a subdimension of the Universe, a place where sparks come from. It looks like a large pool of swirling light, containing countless sparks that arrive and depart non-stop. When spark arrives after the death of their body, they undergo the process of cleaning - every information that was stored on it will be deleted. After this, a spark can depart to seek a new body. Because time flows differently here, the same departed spark will appear in the main dimension only after several years after the death of the previous vessel.
For split-spark even longer, because it cannot start cleansing until it becomes whole again.
Sometimes, at a very rare occasion, if fading consciousness of the dead individual holds onto some memories too hard, those memories can withstand cleaning and pass into different life as echoes.

So planet titan refers 2 primus, unicron, n such?
Tumblr media
Yep! They are Planet Titans, the largest and the most powerful beings in the Universe. Their spark size class in the biggest you can find in the Well. Like Cityformers, they are a sort of Eldritch Beings, but fortunately to everyone - they always asleep and their spark is in the core, too far away from the surface.
While being the most powerful, Planet Tians usually serve a single purpose - to become an inhabitable planet and create life. They're essential for biometallic life forms.
They are born in the gas clouds, like stars. Then they search for a good planetary system to transform. They prefer young lone K or G type stars, the edge of the galaxy where no supernova or magnetar could blast them in the face, away from star clusters etc etc
Transformation is a hard process. It's one-way ticket and so many things can go wrong that can kill the titan and making the plant unfit for life.
This is why there are so many Planet Titans come into existence, only few survive.
Then they succumb to eternal slumber. Despite being asleep, they can influence the course of evolution of life forms inhabiting them. And even create life if it's biometallic world. Lightbright described it as "singing" when she ( with an expedition) visited a biometallic planet, which that doesn't have the AllSpark.
Currently know Planet Titans:
- Primus, forms Cybertron, home of Cybertronians. Status: dying.
- Unicron, forms nothing. They got terrified by the idea of dying during transformation and went "fuck this shit I will eat others instead!". Status: Alive and being asshole somewhere in Milky Way.
- Terra, forms Earth, home of humans. Status: alive.
- Ares, forms Mars. Status: dead due transformation.
-Aphrodite, forms Venus. Status: dead due transformation.
Fun fact: technically, Bumblebee is a Titan as well, but he's a quite special case. Primus summoned another titan sized spark and compressed it until it became small and crystalized. The process created a lot of unique properties that cannot be found in other sparks.

How many Cybertronian colonies are there in the universe of Sparkpulse?
Seven colonies total: Velocitron ( planet), Caminus (Ploonet), Luna-1, Luna-2, Omnitron, Aquatron and Opulus (Moons)!
I'm going to copy the info from an article about Haleenian System for full description!
(and I think I will move lore articles here bc keeping a wiki is too much for me rn)
------
Haleen is a young lone K-Class Star located 163 light-years away from the Sun and is the home star of Cybertron. The planetary system consists of six planets:
Antila is the first planet in the system. A hot jupiter was theorized to be formed much further away from Haleen, but something destabilized its orbit during the formation period and it drifted towards the star. It lost all its moons in the process that are currently scattered across Haleenian system.
Cybertron is the second planet of the system and its orbit lies in the habitable zone. It has the size of Mars, has a breathable atmosphere that mostly composed of nitrogen and oxygen, a fully mechon-based planet. In fact, it's a sleeping Planet Titan known as Primus. Has two moons: Luna -1, which was originally one of Antila's moons, that was captured by Cybertron's gravity, and Luna -2, an artificial moon commissioned by the Senate during the Functionist Era.
Caminus is the third planet of the system. In fact, it's a twice Ganymede-sized water ploonet with a 90° axial tilt. Its orbit lies in the habitable zone. Originally, it was one of Antila's frozen moons. Its orbit destabilized and sent drifting through the system until its orbit stabilized again around Haleen. It was theorized that an unusual axial tilt resulted from collusion with another Antila's scattered moons. Has a breathable atmosphere like Cybertron.
Velocitron is the fourth planet in the system. It's a cold desert planet with a thick atmosphere that lies outside of the habitable zone. Has planetary rings which resulted from Velociton's moon being torn apart by tidal forces.
Arduria is the fifth planet of the system. This Neptunian planet has a rich ring system and several moons. The most noticeable of them are Omnitron - a volcanic moon, Aquiatron, and Opulus - two frozen moons with hidden ocean under the ice.
Micro is the sixth planet of the system. A small rocky planet with a very thin atmosphere and no magnetic field.
All planets except the first one are locked in an orbital resonance with each other that can be expressed as 18:9:6:4:3 in ratios of orbits, so for every eighteen rounds of Cybertron, Caminus completes nine, Velocitron six, Arduria four, and Micro three.
During the Functionist Era, all planets (except Antila because of being too close to Haleen and Micro due to lack of magnetic field) and moons were colonised by cybertronians. Then, through the Devastation Era, all colonies were destroyed, with Velocitron being the first to fall and Caminus the last.
On Earth, Haleen is known as AB Pictoris. It's part of the Pictor constellation which is visible in the southern hemisphere and its apparent magnitude is 9,16 which cannot be seen by the human naked eye.

Their relationship with the cybertron like the Decepticons, autobots and colonists. Or the impact each species had on each other. The shows , comics ,and movies have shown both their impact on the ancient past, first contact and moden day reaction/ results
Sure! I only want you to not expect any kind of complexity and a lot of nuances bc I don't have a capacity to think of all them ^^' And I really want some positive sci-fi story, it's been too long xD
Autobots crashlanded in 1985 on Belle Isle near Detroit, and since it was in broad daylight, there was no use to hide their existence from humans. There were a lot of mixed opinions, from scary aliens trying to conquer Earth conspiracies to curiosity and wanting to interact.
Autobots, realising there is no way they can leave now since Ark got damaged beyond repair, set up to form good relationships with humans. Optimus and high commands are the ones talking to politicians and other officials. Bumblebee plays a big role here too as someone who forms an enormous network of people connections that spread across the world.
I imagine it's difficult, but since human are unpredictable to me, I don't have much detail how it goes. I have few ideas tho what will happen in some scenarios.
- Because Autobots are more of a community rather than war faction, they start forming a local community with humans living nearby to help each other and share resources. Prowl plays a big role here since that what she does for Autobots too. Plus, Bumblebee befriending Spike helps a lot too. This community grows and is a start of cultural exchanges between two species and such.
- Optimus soon sees that human society as a whole has the same bigotry problem that Cybetronians. He doesn't want humans to end up like them! Since he has a lot of experience in standing up against the system that benefit the rich, Autobots start helping out marginalised people, standing with them in protests, helping charities etc
- They're a lot of political shenanigans going on, and always seeking out politics that somewhat care about ppl. It's hard, but thanks to Bee, those ppl were found which helped the progress a lot. Probably around the time that Autobots officially became citizens on USA or something, yep they have passports :D
- So over 40 years Autobots fully integrated into human society, and civilisation changes to better, getting rid of capitalism, using clean energy like fusion, wind, solar, caring for nature, no billionaires, universal healthcare and income and a lot of good other things. Basically, Solarpunk! Sure there are issues here and there, but it's nothing terrible like to our real world dystopia rn.
- There are ppl who dislike Autobots, usually the rich and their bootlickers. When Decepticosn arrive in 2025, the rich form some sort of alliance with them against Autobots: Megatron wants Bumblebee so he can find the AllSpark, and the rich want the "good old times" when capitalism robbed the poor to make them richer.
There is a lot of impact of humans and cybertronians and two species will become intertwined entirely that to the Galactic Union they will be known as Solarians.
You can ask a more specific questions if you want more details, there is a lot of talk about and I just don't know where to start. Tho maybe not about politicians much, I hate those fuckers xD

How did the Functionists manage to manipulate Megatron?
This happened because of a combination of multiple things:
- When Golden Era began, after a while people believed Functionism as a movement ceased to exist. In reality, the lesser known (or not known at all) Functionists went into hiding after the execution of the Senate. They inherited the riches of those bastards and played a role of philanthropists.
Sentinel in particular, for a very well-known as the "good rich guy" who seemingly did a lot of good stuff like charities, social work etc...and because of it, people let their guard down. They didn't really payed to the fact that Sentinel was still accumulating billions, but nobody questioned him since he was giving away millions.
He and his followers knew exactly what they were doing and got extremely comfortable and began to spread this shit again, very slowly and very sneaky.
- Fearmongering and fabricated facts about the state of the Cybertron and how much mechon (biometallic element, a building block for any biometallic life) is in Universe. Because the majority population turned their back on the rich? They believed everything that the rich said and few people fact checked and challenged those claims.
Those who did were often isolated, disgusted, harassed, silenced... and some even payed with their lives. Functionists had their puppet strings everywhere.
- Megatron himself is very naïve and way too passionate. He loved Cybertron and will anything, absolutely ANYTHING to save it, right?
So yeah, moral of this story: never trust the rich.

What earth holidays does bee and the other autobots participate in?
That's a good question, since most of holidays are religious or closely tied to a specific culture. So it's won't feel appropriate for them to adopt them, unless they get invited by their human friends to celebrate a specific holiday. So they stick to the neutral and universal ones.
New Year was the first one they celebrated. Bee asked about Christmas, Spike told him it's a religious holiday and he with his dad doesn't celebrate it, instead New Year is treated at the main celebration of the year. So they go in russian style, having fun until dawn!
Idk what else can be treated as "neutral and universal" holidays, but I imagine they would probably celebrate something like Earth Day, or those specific job days, like Dec 2dn is 2D Artist Day!
Another thing they adopted is celebrating Solstice. Nocturnal bots celebrate Winter Solstice, while diurnal bots celebrate Summer Solstice.
Also, birthdays! Cybs used to celebrate their forging days, but this tradition was forgotten during Devastation Era. On Earth 'bots pick it up again and just choose wherever date they like as their "birthday".
They also started celebration their own holidays they could remember.

How exactly Bumblebee created sparks bodies? Like was it like " OK , l am making you a dragon , you will be a mechanimal " or spark chose what to become itself?
That's an excellent question because I'm still figuring this out.
Short answer: it's a bit both! Here what I have so far!
Biometallic Protoforms were created at the Cybertron core. A fully automated Forge that recycles dead bodies that fall from the surface. Protoforms differ by frametype. Which frametypes will emerge at the Hot Spots is random but there is some corelation between the forge and the AllSpark due weak spark connection between Primus and Bumblebee.
As the Life Warden, Bee was always aware how many living being are currently inhabiting Cybertron. This information get's synched with Primus' spark. Despite being always asleep, his system would start new cycles of Protoform production once it's get enough material.
While not being directly involved in assembling of Protoforms, Bumblebee can create brand new frametypes by using the Forge, the power of his spark and Vector Sigma together. It's a lot of work and takes time.
After he makes sure that living being is comfortable existing by observing his work and making corrections if it's absolutely necessary, he adds a blueprint to his AllSpark frametype pool. This info will get to Primus' spark and the process will star again, now with new frametype added to the pool.
But that just physical vessel. When it comes to sparks that its own process!
Bumblebee, as compressed titan, can attract sparks that just left the Well in search for new vessel. The AllPSpark makes a very specific humming sound when he does it. Which earned him his name ;D
They come to him, and getting by their size class, he assigned them accordingly to Protoform sizes.
Before injecting a spark into protoform, Bumblebee can actually choose if he wants to program the CNA or let spark's quantum nature to randomize it. Bumblebee is very creative with making up new living being, often out of curiosity of "what if I do this?".
But at the same time he knows that evolution can come up with the most brilliant and ridiculous thing, so he let this happen too!
After he combined his data ( or random data) with the spark into a cell and injects it. This very moment, a Protoform becomes alive and forging begins.
Important: biometallic life forms cannot reproduce on their own. They cannot pass the genetic information to their offsprings like organic life. This is why they need a Planet Titan ( or Bumblebee in pur case) to create them. And without the injection, Protoforms are just pieces of metal that a spark won't consider being a proper vessel.
Despite that, biometallic life form can evolve. And they all predators, because they need a metrial to do so.
---
Gosh that a lot, there is still a lot of figuring out. Like how Bumblebee creates organic life, but I will think about this later)

Aside from Bumblebee and some of the others forming a band and Ion Storm (i think that's who you said??) taking up cooking, do anyone else get into any hobbies?
I wasn't thinking about hobbies for everyone, but here's some idea I have rn:
- Clobber is an artist! She was drawing even during her days as SiC of Decepticons. On Earth he got into traditional art as well... and just generally exploring all forms of art she can find! -Blackarachina makes biometallic fabrics out of her silk, sometimes she sows things for fun ( and also the reason why Autobots have so many blankets and pillows). Prowl joins her in sowing later, esp on Earth when she discovered plushies :D
Ofc many likes reading, watching movies and play video games etc Wheeljack loooves breaking games, looking for glitches and doing speedruns!
Also a lot got gardening skills bc they need to take care of shit ton on organic plants scattered across the Ark. Stelljaw and Nightstalker take their watering duty very seriously!
Oh and right, their own DnD sessions, with Optimus as DM :D

Note
What's the number of members in each faction?
I never counted active characters, so I usually just imagine an approximate number of cybs, that also might have any other character I never mentioned.
(So they either there but I just don't write about them, or the part of the new generation that comes after Sparkpulse.)
Autobots currently have 234 alive members, while Decepticons have 87 alive members. Meaning only 321 cybertronians left.
