Been a day of achievement for me today. I went into work for a monthly celebration of success because of how good it makes me feel being part of something bigger. Today I received my long service award for completing my first year at the hotel I’m at now and also 3 years at the wonderful company I work for. Not only did I come home with that but I also got employee of the month for March. Chosen by my peers not my managers. Do you know how amazing that feels? To be chosen because I’ve made their life a little brighter at work? Wow. Puts it all in perspective how much difference I’ve made by just being me. Thank you each one of you!
