No. No, it's not. Not only are HP fans (and likely others) sick and tired of such "activism", but face it, nothing you do will ever be "good enough" for people who insist anyone who even thinks about HP (or so much as considers, say, visiting a Universal Studios park) should kill and/or immolate themselves.

You have a right to enjoy the shitty bigotry books but i have a right and justification to call you transphobe over it. Pissy about it? Good. You deserve to feel bad.

Saying stuff like that, especially how you said it, is not helping trans people at all. Was the ruling reversed, and all because you said this and HP fans feel bad? No.

Given some of the "safe" alternatives to HP I've seen thrown around, I'd like to know your definition of "real literature". You also lose points for using the exact same phrase someone else used immediately after "#hp fans kys".

Sorry, I just can't let people like these "win". Go donate to the Trevor Project, Point of Pride, Trans Lifeline, PFLAG, Global Action for Trans Equity or a trans person's GoFundMe (for their transition or their living expenses) if you want to be the "good person" you think bullying and threatening HP fans makes you. Trust me, you'll gain a lot more allies bragging online about having donated to any of those charities than you would with bullying and suicide baiting.
