Spookami 27 - Crossover! I've been wanting to do something like this for AGES, and here it is, my entry for day 27 of @genderenvyforwaka's 2023 Spookami- Crossover! And of course it had to be Trigun ;)

Not sure if this is TECHNICALLY a crossover, and I did have something more elaborate planned for today but I didn't get to finish it, so here's my other thing; Trigun but Okami style!

Spookami 2023 [Prompt 14 - Eyes]

I'm not gonna be the one to say it out loud, but... there's something... off about the captain in Sei-An, right?

Drifting a little bit into headcanon territory here, but you're really gonna tell me you had a whole race of folks living on the moon and expect me not to think they'd have some uncanny shit going on? Clearly you don't know me very well.

So I saw the prompt on @genderenvyforwaka's prompt list and my immediate thought was the Spider Queen, so here she is! Okay, so I borrowed the idea from @bamboorocket to get this baby done a few days in advance because 1) this was a heccin nightmare to both draw and colour, and 2) I'm a chronic procrastinator 😂

Bam! Another entry for @genderenvyforwaka's Spookami! So the prompt for this one was 'Curse' and I kinda had the idea to recreate a panel from my Okami manga but as a fake anime screenshot, which was really fun!

Spookami 14 - Eyes Shoutout to fellow 'moon people are shiny' truther @bamboorocket for this one because we both have the same headcanon that Waka has reflective eyes (tapetum lucidum), and so of freakin' course I had to make that the basis for today's prompt, which was Eyes! Shiny!

Spookami 2022 - Fall In Nippon 🍁🍂☀️

Finally some new Okami art! And I know I'm like a week and a half late, but I wanted to do something inspired by @genderenvyforwaka's October Okami prompts! I probably should have done this on October 1st but here's a thing inspired by the Fall in Nippon prompt, and I think I might do more just to catch up! This is also my first time trying a prompt thing like this so yeah.

I know I’m late to the party (again), but here’s my entry for day 12 of @genderenvyforwaka’s 2023 Spookami! The prompt was Fear, and of course my first thought was Waka’s own fear of Mei dying or being killed because of him, and so I raise you some weapons-grade Angst™️

Spookami day 28: Oni Island

Okay, yeah, I kinda ignored the prompt to just be really self-indulgent, but hear me out: my brain jumped from Oni Island to Ninetails, then I started thinking about the Sei’an City play house boss (Renjishi/Sen & Ryo) from Okamiden and then wanted to do a take on a role swap where Ninetails is the possessed stage puppet boss! It was fun and that’s what matters. :]

This is the last of the Spookami prompts I plan to do for now, but maybe I’ll revisit a couple of them later on
