MLP Broodmother Virus: Party Time!

(I'm not good at animating and I don't wanna draw a whole comic, so I shall do this in Chat format instead! If anybody wants to help me draw, please let me know!)

*Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash enter early for Pinkie's party. Nobody else had shown up quite yet, and admittedly, some of them, such as Twilight, were likely too busy to attend at all, but Pinkie seemed so thrilled about this new cupcake recipe at no one was willing to say 'no'*

*The decorations were a bit lighter than the pair expected, still colorful, but a bit more haphazardly placed than anticipated, balloons limply floating just a couple inches off the ground and random bits of confetti strown about in random places. They didn't dwell too much on this though - after all, Pinkie was quite the odd pony at the best of times.*

Rainbow Dash: Uh, Pinkie? You around? I know it's kinda early, but we didn't wanna miss out on those cupcakes you were talking about.

Fluttershy: Oh yes, from everything you've said about them, they'd surely be gone already if we came later.

*After a moment of shuffling in the backroom of the Corner, Pinkie Pie emerged, beaming a cheerful smiling at the pair.*

Pinkie Pie: Oh no problem at all! Hiya guys! Oh you guys are suuuuper lucky, they're still warm and everything!

*She cooed cheerfully, approaching the pair with her usual spring in her step - though it was a bit hampered by her noticeably bulging belly. Rainbow looked down to her belly, and snickered a bit.*

Rainbow Dash: Wow Pinkie, you -really- need to cut back on the sweets.

Fluttershy: Dash!

Rainbow Dash: Ah come on, I'm just kidding around!

Pinkie Pie: Hehe! It's fine Flutters! Dashy's just being silly, like always! Hehe! Heck, how could I -not- look like this living in a bakery of all things!

*Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash both chuckle.*

Pinkie Pie: Now enough yapping! Let's get to the important stuff; cupcakes!

*Pinkie Pie excitedly declared, as she quickly rushed to the nearby counter, retrieving a platter of gorgeous looking red and brown cupcakes from the display case. The pair approached the counter, and as they did, Fluttershy took notice of the redness of Pinkie's eyes, much more noticeable now that they were closer.*

Fluttershy: Are you alright? You look a little tired.

Pinkie Pie: Oh ho, this? Oh yeah, hehe, I -may- have worked a bit harder on this whole recipe thing than I should have, I got to bed -way- too late last night. Anyways! Come on, come on, they're getting cold!

*Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash both plucked a cupcake from the tray and smiled brightly to Pinkie before taking a bite. If it was any other pony, how intently Pinkie stared at the pair of them as they ate would've come off as quite off-putting, but this was hardly the first time Pinkie stared with such intensity, awaiting the verdict on a newly baked sweet of hers.*

*Sadly, of course, this was far from a normal day...*

Chapter 1, Part 7

This is four chapters, just like the actual show(so far). Each chapter is 8 episodes. Chapter 1 is just entirely build-up, but once we spring into Chapter 2, things heat up. This is much more of an adventure based written show than a slice-of-life town show. I wanted to delve a lot more into certain things while straying away from certain themes the show focused on.

Major Changes

Sunny is a permanent alicorn

Sunny is a holographical alicorn in Make Your Mark. In this, she's just an alicorn. I think it's unfair that only unicorn born ponies have the opportunity to become alicorns. So when it happened to Sunny in the movie, it felt like a great step away from the normal standard. But then it just felt unfair that the only Earth Pony born alicorn got non-permanent wings that she didn't always have the ability to access. It just felt like it was ruining the entire point of the Equality allegory. So in this rewrite she's just a simple alicorn.

Sprout will become a main character.

Sprout is a character I've always loved to psychoanalze. I believe the writers do not understand how amazing of a character they've created. With this rewrite, I'd love to explore more of his relationships with Hitch, Sunny, and especially Phyllis. Of course, this wouldn't be the main part of the show, but I'd like for it to be a part of it. I'd also like to explore a "Redemption Arc" of some sorts, diving deep into Sprout's self-worth and undeniable generational trauma.

Twilight is a more improtant character

I feel as if her cameo in the show is very brushed over. Getting a message from a well-known alicorn is a big deal, and I want her to be more of a guide to Sunny. Her appearances in the Prisbeam are going to be live conversations rather than left messages. Celestia, Luna, and Candence have all chosen to pass on. Twilight and Opaline are the last alicorns left(that we know of). So Twilight is going to be playing a bigger role in the defeating of Opaline.

Opaline is redesigned and more evil

Opaline and Misty's evil arc in the show tends to come off as anticlimactic, especially knowing Opaline as the alicorn who almost succeeded at draining all of Equestria of it's magic. I want to make her more scary, powerful and raise the stakes. Instead of her being Opaline Arcana, I've written her to be Opaline Luminary, a forgotten Princess of the stars. Jealous of her Sun and Moon counterparts, she ventured out to get the love and power she deserves. The dragon stone will also become a bigger part of the story. The dragon stone is powered by, as you know, dragon fire. Which brings me to my next change!

Dragons will become a key part

In the show it's mentioned that Dragons haven't been seen in Equestria for generations. And then the show skips over that and moves on. I want to delve into the disappearance of Dragons, Hippogriffs, Seaponies/Sirens, Griffons, etc. Dragons specifically have been continuously captured and enslaved by Opaline to power her dragon stone and herself. My ultimate goal here is to make Opaline a much scarier villain.

Misty Brightdawn will be evil

Misty's character was given a redemption arc in the show when, in reality, she was never really evil in the first place. Opaline is Misty's adoptive mother, I intend for her to encourage Misty to really want to rule all of Equestria alongside Opaline. I feel like for a character to have a satisfying redemption arc, they need to be truly evil at first. And though I do intend for her to receive that arc in the future, she will be a genuinely evil character first. No worries, she's still cute as can be, just evil!

LGBT Representation

What I always want for children targeted shows is healthy representation and also realistic representation. Shows tend to stray away from saying the words "gay", "transgender", etc, because those words have been poisoned by the public eye. There is nothing wrong with these words, and I want to be able to say them outright in this rewrite. I want to be able to represent it, crack jokes, and idolize it in a completely healthy way. Children aren't born prejudice, we teach them to be. And if kid shows give them realistic and great examples from an early age, there will be nothing unordinary about it.

Diversity/Racism allegories

As a person of color, allegories like this need to be done right. Even when it comes to oppressors breaking out of racist habits. I feel the show did a great job with representing cultural differences and learning how to grow out of being prejudiced. But after that, it sort of was forgotten about. They had one episode centered on Earth Ponies having trouble getting used to other species living with them, but it was dropped after that. Though this won't be a gigantic main part of this rewrite, I'd love to delve into it a little more. After all, racism wasn't solved after one big adventure. It took time for these things to happen. You have to teach, learn, and be willing to listen. I'm not saying I'm making anyone straight up still racist(besides Phyllis Cloverleaf kinda), but I want to represent reformed people still making small mistakes and being willing to listen and learn from them.

Elements of Harmony return

This is the main reason as to why this rewrite was named "Elemental". After Chapter 1, this show will mainly focus on the current main six venturing off and finding the broken shards of the elements of Harmony(as destroyed by King Sombra) and reconnecting with them. Finding themselves in those elements and working together as a group to strengthen that power once more. As the stakes have been risen with Opaline, they'll need these to take her down.

New Ponies and Characters!

While the current main six are venturing out, there will be new original characters and friends to meet along the way. Though most of them will play a minor role, I think it'd be fun for the main cast to adventure outside of Bridlewood, Zephyr Heights, and Maretime Bay. Those aren't the only three places in the world, and I'd like to explore different places too! I only plan for one or two to play supporting roles, but that really wont come in til Chapter 3.

I'm sure there are more changes I've forgotten about or skipped over, but no big changes will come to any of the characters you love. I'll simply take them and put them into new situations! I hope this is something you can all enjoy! It's still a very silly show at heart, but it's just way more adventure based! Chapter 1 is practically done. I have a few more things to work with, but I'm about 95% done with it. Plus, this rewrite will be done in script form! Though I'd love to put it into view, I'm more of a writer and less of an artist or animator. If this ever gets that big? Maybe one day! Maybe I'll record a little read through for funsies? But for now, I'll just be sharing the scripts :)

Hi. This is chapter one of my mlp fanfiction/creepypasta that included my oc, and no cannon shit. Enjoy.

It was a quiet, warm spring day down in Ponyville. The sun was shining, the birds were singing, and everything was perfect! Twilight sparkle hummed a soft tune as she pranced around her beloved little town, heading towards sweet apple acres. She was going to meet up with her friends for a small lunch get-together. She happily trotted for a few more moments, before noticing an… unfamiliar face. It was a Pegasus with a dark purple coat, blue, sunken in eyes and an extremely long, thick white mane and tail that faded down to purple. Twilight figured it must be a new pony that had recently moved in!

“Hello!” Twilight trotted over to the stranger, smiling at her warmly. The pony flinched as twilight suddenly spoked to her, turning her head to face the purple pony. “I’m Twilight sparkle.” The unicorn continued, holding out her hoof for a hoofshake. “What’s your name?”. The pony slowly held out her hoof, and shook twilight’s. “My name… is wilted rose…i prefer just Rose, though..” she said, her voice was quite soft, and low. Twilight took a moment to respond, trying to make sure she heard the new pony well. “Well, it’s nice to meet you, Rose! Have you met any pony else?” Twilight put her hoof down, tilting her head slightly as she questioned the young mare. “Oh.. no. I just.. moved here today.” Rose answered, looking away shyly.

Twilight took a few steps back to give the pony some room. “How about i go take you to meet my friends? I’m sure they would be delighted to have a new face around!” The mare chirped, smiling at Rose. “Of course, that is if you want to meet them…” Twilight added, trying to not force anything onto the stranger. Rose thought for a moment, before nodding silently. She fixed her posture, and gave twilight a small smile. “Sure… i don’t mind.”

After a few minutes of walking, the two ponies made it to Sweet Apple Acres. In the distance, they could see twilight’s friend setting up the picnic table outside. Applejack, Rarity, Pinkie pie, Rainbow dash and Fluttershy were all there. All that was missing was twilight. Rose his behind twilight as they approached the other ponies. Twilight waved and smiled at her friends “hey girls!” She greeted them, trotting over. Rose stayed behind, observing the ponies. “Sorry I’m late. I got distracted.” She giggled a little, slightly embarrassed. Applejack approached twilight, smiling. “Don’t worry about it, Twi.” AJ reassured the purple unicorn, crossing her hooves. Pinkie pie chimed in, with her usual loud, hyperactive voice. “Eek! Now we can really have fun!-“ she cut herself off, before noticing a figure behind twilight. “Who’s that?” She questioned. Twilight turned her head over the Wilted Rose. “Oh, that’s rose. She just moved here.”

Rose perked up her head as she heard her name be mentioned. the mare squeaked in surprise as she saw that everypony was looking at her. She took z few steps back, lowering her head slightly. “Well, howdy Rose.” Applejack was the first to speak up, taking a few steps closer to the shy Pegasus. “Care to join us for lunch?” The earth pony offered. Hesitantly, the Pegasus agreed. “Oh.. sure..” she turned her head away from applejack, looking into the thick forest of apple trees. The leaves were just beginning to grow back from falling off during the winter. The trees were flowering currently, no apples will grow until next fall.

Applejack noticed Rose spacing out, and began speaking again. “My name is Applejack, it’s nice to meet you!” The orange pony grinned, and made way for the other girls to approach the mare. Pinkie pie hopped towards the pony, grinning widely. She was so excited to have another friend! “Hello! My names Pinkie Pie! It’s sooo nice to meet you!” She bounced up and down, making it hard for Rose to focus on the pink pony. It was then Rainbow dash’s turn to introduce herself. “The name’s Rainbow Dash, awesome to meet you.” She grinned, her dark pink eyes stared down at the shy mare. Rose stared at the blue pegasus’s rainbow mane, and smiled softly to her. “Yeah.. nice to meet you, too.” She said, timidly. She thought her mane and tail were beautiful..

Rarity was next, she trotted over to the dark purple pony. Rose’s eyes widened.. that unicorn was.. beautiful! Even prettie

r than the last! Her thoughts were then interrupted by the elegant pony. “pleased to meet you, darling. My names Rarity.” She fluttered her eyelashes as she spoke. “Your mane and tail are so long! You must let me style them sometime!”. Rose blushed, and hid her face behind her mane. “Th…thank you.” She whispered, blushing slightly. She took a few steps back. Lastly, there was fluttershy. Quietly, the yellow pony introduced herself with a soft smile. “My names fluttershy… nice to meet you.” She whispered. Rose quickly nodded. After a few seconds of more silence, applejack once again spoke up. “Well, we wont want the food to get cold, do we? Let’s eat, girls!”

The girls smiled and agreed with the earth pony, and made their way to the table. Rose was the last one to sit down, as she got a bit distracted again. “Hey…uhm, applejack?” She spoke, looking over to the earth pony. “Yeah, sugar?” AJ answered, putting a slice of apple pie onto her plate. “What’s over there..?” Rose pointed her hoof to a dark part of the acre, where the trees were dead, and no grass grew. “Oh, that’s the dead lands.. or, that’s what we call ‘em. Nopony ever goes there.” Aj said. “Nopony?” Rose repeated. “Yep.” Applejack confirmed. Rose continued to stare at the patch of land for a few seconds. “…huh.”

As the heiress of the famous hot springs inn,Stown Inn which was located in Padther,Snowy Town was a perfect well-mannered unicorn.

She was trained to become the next heiress of the inn ever since she was a little foal.Under such a weightful burden,she rarely have a friend.

But then,she get to know an energetic hippogriff and they had become good friends which could always sharing something together.

(Of course it was Sutonaka,but I haven't decided her name yet,it was kinda troublesome for me.If you guys got any idea,mind tell me as an inspiration for her name?)

When she was being pushed in to the TV World,she was afraid of these yellowish fog and those weird whispers.She had no choice but to step in the big castle that appeared upon her,and she had met her shadow there.

Actually,she dislike of being the heiress of the inn.Of course,deep in her heart.She also thought that her best friend could be the one that help her escape the cage that she had lived in it for the past 17 years.

She always knew it.

But she never thought that she would hear those being spoken out by someone else.Technically,it's her shadow.

And of course,she denied it and was facing a serious danger because of it.Gladly,her friend and The Special Investigation Team had come to save her from it.After an exhausting battle,she finally get to accept her shadow as a part of her and gained her own persona.

Story of seasons friends of Mineral town: The Powertrip

I would like you to come back to a simpler time with me, dear reader. Do you remember Kanye's Power? Do you remember the mlp version? Around that time, I shared on this exact blog some cringey art reveling in exploiting the ruby spice farming trick to for the first time properly fun my wonderful life farm. Now and again, a bokumono game gives its players some way to break the game, but the friends of mineral town took it to a new level.

Okay, let's rewind. Amidst playing ANB, I became frazzled from the sheer amount of mechanics I had to keep track of. I have moved Yuri into town, but now I was struggling to complete restoration project 3. At some point, I messed up a day and took a step back. Now I have not kept track of switch games on my backlog, but this past winter, I was gifted fomt but had not touched it. Fomt was my first HM game and something I knew intimately since it was so straightforward. I decided to take a quick shot at it. Oh, how novel it was at the start.

Within one night's worth of work, I had basically become the kingpin of quaint Mineral Town.

I did not intend it, in fact I barely read anything major. Just some basic costs and a crop guide. However, during the first horse race, I was saving money for a new rucksack but now was unable to buy it. I take a look at the medal information and figure I'd try my luck at getting the power berry seeing as save scumming was much less tedious now. However instead, I ended up with a good number of broaches. That was when I made my first 50k.

Now you can ship the broaches just fine but I had learned of selling to Huang and figured I should befriend him for next time. Pretty much a day later I ended up with van's favorite (VF from here out) to which I believe is a new addition that you can sell to Huang for ~50k each.

Apparently, you get this every time your transaction count lands on a 10 in its count. Heavily exploitable, but you don't even need to try. So far I have received 3 without even trying and it's been more than enough money to basically complete the game.

By mid summer I had enough to pay for one of every animal, upgrade the house fully and furnish it fully, upgrade all weapons to max, and upgrade the barn and coop one level up AND buy the materials for that rather than slowly accrue it.

The thing is, I also had completed most of this by late spring. All the animals I needed and plenty of seeds, it was time to call upon the sprites. As one should know, sprites love flour, the easiest bribery ever. Had all seven won over in time to plant 90, yes 90, pineapples. And even more plants with that, about 10 of everything I could have at the moment. The money every couple of days was ludicrous. I was making thousands without some cheat. I was even smart enough to not hire all of them at once so there was always coverage. It was basically great assistance while I built up my skill with the watering can. Sadly not mythril yet but gold works fine.

So I'm living large, what now?

Well child me was not as good at patience with this game and would do dumb shit like make myself pass out and only talk with Karen. I guess it's time to befriend the town.

Now this time as I had remarked previously, I intended to marry Elli. Though as a divergence back up, I also confessed to the harvest goddess my interest and was giving some stuff to karen too. Oh, but there is romancable gift options? Darn, and the new guy has a boyfriend gift for you too. Oh wait, the game ENCOURAGES YOU to date all the singles. Yes. Bokumono outprogressed stardew valley in the same game that it first let you date same sex (not as a conditional feature). I mean, how can I say no to that? Why shouldn't I date the whole town before settling down? I WANT FREE HOUSE DECOR DAMMIT.

And boy have I achieved that. Guess what. Most singles have a really simple to get thing in their likes category. Most people in fact like store bought flour too as I've learned.

So now I am in early Fall, collecting various foliage and woeing some people to let me into their rooms and give me recipes. I am mostly waiting around to repeat my sudden wealth gain at the fall races but now with tens of thousands instead of the previous 3k I had at the time. It would take roughly 5000 broaches to buy that cabin from Gotz, although that doesn't factor material or if they'll let me keep that many broaches. Moreover I'm holding out for the free beach house at 150 gifts to which should come in fall of next year if I am pious.

But what's most on my mind is buying my first dog and learning cooking so I can spend the winter lake mining for kappa jewels, some of each gem, and the power berry. If I get the cursed tools as well is up in the air since I still need to upgrade 5 of 6 tools to mythril which takes quite a lot of time especially since not every one is full exp yet. Likely I will try to upgrade the hoe and hammer before winter, the watering can at the start of it, and get the axe and pole done in time to trek the depths one last time.

Sadly what has truly stopped the glory of this progression is simply my real time availability to play it. I started at the end of my free time week and have been busy since. Maybe one day i'll finally be able to gain those mythical houses that were so unattainable in the og.

fluttershy is about 700x more enjoyable to me as a character if she meets two conditions 1. shes never heard of conditioner in her life she washes her hair in the creek and 2. shes more friends with applejack before twilight shows up

applejack is a sweet character and more importantly i think having the animal talent pony be friends with the farm pony rather than rarity(who i love!! but.. classism) takes away the like vegan ARA thing you could stick to her.

like that combimed with the cartoon animal treatment conditions that does not live up to real life standards makes her like just annoying to me personally. oh also shes the 3rd main pony of 6 to have blue eyes and thats rediculous. her eyes shouldve been spring green like Posey's or lavender if they were stepping away from posey.

and, of course, her anger issues thing is not a thing (or aWAAAAY different thing. like sensory overload) in my ideal version of mlp it was just... embarassing the way they handled it. bc when it got to the point where she did it often enough to have it be part of her character everyone still kind of acted the same as when she was never cruel. in my mlp she has the patience of a saint and real difficultly speaking it takes her a while so she makes sure to alway listen and wait for others.

the subtle shows of culture in the way the characters acted, and the environment of the movie was just CHEF'S KISS

not only that but the ideas the movie had in terms of its world and the people in it felt genuine, it felt alive

a dragon that isn't the typical fire-breathing lizard

characters who look like they could easily be my neighbours or children i've played with

instead of pandering to this movie felt like an actual homage to sea cultures

and for good reason bc seeing all those familiar names rolling in the credits had me feeling some type of way :")

also that fucking soundtrack gave me chills throughout my watch of the movie

okay now that we've got the things i actually like about the movie, let's talk about what i don't like

if there's one word i could use to describe disney's raya it would be: rushed

like i said in the beginning, all the groundwork for an astounding disney movie were already there

but all of it just goes to waste bc the plot and it's characters feel so Unfinished

the movie felt like a bullet-point presentation of the story

WHICH IS SO FUCKING DISAPPOINTING BC THE CHARACTERS SEEMED SO INTERESTING but all we got were shadows of what they could have been

cardboard cutouts of the archetypes they filled

i'm not asking for a bottomless well of depth, but i at least wanted more for the cast than just: angry misunderstood princess, angry misunderstood princess with an undercut, that one dancing kid from moana but with more spice, boss baby, and the mountain

and i get that they had to sacrifice some of their depth to keep the run time of the movie short but you have got to be better than this disney

i hate to compare but it felt like this movie tried to go beyond what moana gave us, and shot so far that it ended up back to where it started, and then stumbled back a few steps

AND IM NOT EVEN SAYING A DRAGON MOVIE WITH A BIG CAST IS IMPOSSIBLE

BC IT'S ALREADY BEEN DONE

HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON DID IT THREE TIMES

and you'd think the plot for one of the few disney movies with a non-western setting would have more than just a macguffin considering how batshit sea folk tales can be

but you'd think wrong folks.

GENUINELY IT FELT LIKE THEY WERE ATTEMPTING SOMETHING BUT WERE SHORT OF BRINGING IT TO FRUITION

sure moana had a macguffin too with the heart of te fiti, but the heart itself wasn't the heart of the movie

it was the journey of moana and maui

it was that BEAUTIFUL TWIST WITH TE KA AND TE FITI

ALL DELIVERED WITH A NATURAL FINESSE THAT HAD YOU ON THE EDGE OF YOUR SEAT

YOU WERE ALONG FOR THE RIDE OF THE STORY INSTEAD OF QUESTIONING EVERYTHING THAT WAS GOING ON LIKE I WAS

maybe this was just me but like, i felt so bad for the friend who watched this movie with me bc all i could go on and on was how the plot felt like it was getting in the way of itself

why didn't the different kingdoms (??) kept the gem in rotation or smth, when did they decide that heart would keep it and then get mad at heart for keeping it????

why didn't awkwafina dragon just show herself to the kingdoms bc everyone seems to be in agreement that dragons good right? that they would be the key to getting rid of the druun right??? SO THEY'D ALL AT LEAST HEAR HER OUT OR SMTH RIGHT????????

and yes raya has trust issues but it seems to only spring up at the most convenient times plot-wise, we didn't really see her learn to trust other people again OTHER THAN THE TIMES WHERE SISU WOULD HAMFISTEDLY SHOVE IT DOWN OUR THROATS THAT SOME PEOPLE ARE GOOD SOMETIMES RAYA

we see it with boun, but then she just trusts noi, her monkeys, and tong THE GUY WHO STRUNG THEM UP AND WAS THREATENING TO TORTURE THEM????????

i'm gonna be honest and say that if it weren't for namaari i'd have absconded the moment sisu came on screen

as far as i'm considered the actual plot of the movie is just the entire sword fight scene between her and raya

and finally

we get to the part i will be erasing from my brain for my own mental well-being

WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT DRAGON DESIGN

WHY OH WHY TH  E FUCK DOES SISU SOUND AND LOOK LIKE THAT

my friend said they looked like the ponies from mlp in 3d AND NOW I CAN NEVER UNSEE IT

THEY HAVE EYEBROWS THEY HAVE HUMAN FACES

HUMAN FACES ON MAJESTIC DRAGON BODIES

THE INTERNET HAS COLLECTIVELY DECIDED THAT SISU IS BASICALLY FURRY ELSA

every time we got a sisu close up i lost 5 years to my life

disney i am suing for damages

if you want me to drop the charges i demand raya 2: electric boogaloo but it’s just raya and namaari enemies to friends to lovers ark

and also for them to never say dragon nerds ever again

AGAIN. HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON GAVE US BEAUTIFUL DRAGON DESIGNS. HELL IF YOU WANTED MORE EASTERN LOOKING DRAGONS FUCKING SPIRITED AWAY??? HAKU??????????

AND YKNOW WHAT. SISU WOULDN'T EVEN LOOK THAT HORRIFIC IF THE MOVIE WAS IN 2D

im not the first person to be side-eying disney's decision to keep pumping out these 3d movies but like.

no amount of added dimensions could ever make that dragon design okay

and there so many more points i could go off on to show how this movie was rushed

how the other dragons, and even sisu's siblings whom she had been missing for the entire movie DIDNT MAKE A SINGLE SOUND???? NOT EVEN A FUCKING GROWL DISNEY???? DID YOU EVEN TRY WITH THE DRAGONS AT ALL??? THE SUPPOSED CENTRE OF THIS MOVIE'S PLOT?????????

HOW THE CHIEFS OF THE OTHER KINGDOMS WERE BASICALLY PLOT DEVICES????

THAT ONE CHIEF'S SKELETON WAS MORE INTERESTING THAN ANY OF THEM COMBINED ALIVE

kudos to that one granny chief though

u can never have enough bad ass old ladies

AND GOD THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN ANY OF THE CHARACTERS JUST FELT SO FORCED

ALONG WITH WHATEVER LESSON SISU WANTED TO IMPART ABOUT TRUST

LOVE THESE CHARACTERS THEY ARE FUNNY THEY ARE FRIENDS FOUND FAMILY

TRUST PEOPLE IF U WANT THEM TO TRUST U

TRUST PEOPLE OR ILL LITERALLY FUCKING KILL U

children aren't stupid disney. if you tell your story well enough, they'll pick up on the messages you want to give them. YOU DONT HAVE TO THRUST EVERYTHING IN OUR FACES

i was exhausted by the time i finished this movie

bc i really wanted to love it. i wanted to feel more for it than just: well, it's a movie :)

i dont hate this movie though like it's not even worth the energy for that

i think that ultimately, despite all my issues with it, this movie was a step in the right direction when it comes to having non-western stories being told by non-western people in big name productions

i'm glad raya and the last dragon exists

i just can't help but be dissapointed though bc this movie put so much effort into putting my people and culture at its forefront but at what cost???

good characters and story for a good setting and design????

does it have to be one or the other?????

DOES THE DRAGON HAVE TO HAVE EYEBROWS??????
