The Naughty Ones and the Cherubs

Despite their appearances and their sometimes bratty seeming nature, the "Naughty Ones" are simply pure, unrefined souls of the un-reborn...

...All of the Jester's children, to be specific, from all his lifetimes where he was Earthborne, to be exact. All hand removed from the cycle of reincarnation by Queen Bouncelia, so that way, when the Jester was finally reincarnated into something with a similar lifespan to her, they'd be able to have them all back, but this time, as a proper family.

However, despite finding usefulness in the Naughty One's tattle tale tenancies, being her eyes and ears throughout the kingdom, there was still a... bitterness, in having none of them look like a product of the both of them...

...But, with being summoned to the school building, and having the opportunity to get her hands on excess Givanium without bleeding herself dry, that gave Bouncelia quite a few... solutions to handcraft forms for these free flowing souls...

Souls were not meant to be forced into shape on a whim, and would fight every step of the process... All the same, what mother would recoil at her own babe's... visual imperfections? Not her.

She cheerfully called them Cherubs, the humans called them horrifying, and made it a mission to sneak in and steal her staff, so as to prevent her from turning more of those Naughty Ones into "Cherubs" besides the four she already had...

Meanwhile, the Jester has moved them to their chambers, to make sure none of the workers try to harm them any further out of fear...
