After like. A Month long break..... i have good news and also some Really Bad News. but we'll get into that

While I thought I changed the apprentice graduating, Sunstar seems to think Brokenpaw is ready to become a warrior, and delcares she will now be known as Brokenspots. Also she caught whitecough sorry sweetpea.

Runnelkit wonders who their mentor will be. I'll tell you what none of you are going to greedy Staotskip thats for sure

Gracklegorse & Kokichi wish to speak to Quarter about something, while she contemplates teaching the Clan communication skills.

The two medicine cats were able to gather mullein and raspberries this moon. Squirrelface eavesdrops on Brokenspots, who wonders how the medicine cat's mate is doing.

Haventail eavesdrops on Golddawn, who wishes to get to know the young warrior better.

Yewkit hopes Mudfur will tell him another story :3

Howlkit wishes cats would stop babying her. little ma'am you literally have the babyiest kit sprite idk what to tell you. you're baby.

Stoatskip wonders if StarClan can hear him, from the stars, Fawnroot is looking to visit him in a dream.

Quarter continues trying to meditate the strained relationship of the two medicine cats. Her work is starting to pay off, as while the two mollys still have a dislike for each other, their trust towards one another outweighs that dislike.

Patrols:

Kokichi decides to take charge on border patrol, and brings along Plumshine, Hazelbloom, and Stoatskip. Hazelbloom finds a loner, who offers their healing skills in exchange for shelter. The new medicine cat is welcomed to the clan.

Squirrelface and Stoatstalk decide to take Featherfoot with them herb gathering, Golddawn also decides to tag along. As the Mullein towers impressively over the other plants, it's a good time to harvest it. Squirrelface could swear there's usually mullein around here- but not this time.

Gracklegorse takes Haventail and Buzzardpoppy training, suggesting its a good time to practice some techniques. Unfortunately, no one steps up to teach. It's a little awkward, but the patrol disbands to attend to other duties.

Thoughts before the New Moon:

Sunstar thinks she's been hearing the voices of StarClan cats... what they saying bestie.

Quarter is eavesdropping on Kokichi, who's been a little hard on himself recently :(

Plumshine has been lazing around in their nest, and doesn't seem to want to change that anytime soon.

Stoatstalk carefully curates his appearance to be dazzling, but not too dazzling. Clan's apparent heartthrob gotta keep up those good looks

Haventail is being followed around camp by Sunstar's kits. awwwhhh

Mudfur is trying to tell the kits a tall tale, but Yewkit is busy playing with a stick, while his sister, Runnelkit, pesters Mudfur to play with her

Thoughts and In-Camp actions:

With three cats working now, the medicine cats gathered a hefty amount of herbs this moon. Squirrelface gathered oak leaves and tansy, while Golddawn and Featherfoot gathered daisy and thyme respectively. Mudfur is given juniper to help treat her frostbite.

Sunstar has a crazed look in her eyes. girl? you good? did the kits not let you sleep or something??

Plumshine is watching over the kits <:3 thank u so nice

Gracklegorse begins assigning cats to a border patrol as Squirrelfaces checks up on all the warriors.

Stoatstalk feels happy knowing he's someone cats seek out to talk to :3 my little boy mr popular

Haventail needs a bit of time alone today…. and Sunstar's crazed look… girlies did Moonthistle talk to either of you in a dream recently-

Brokenspots wants to be chosen as the new deputy. girl you've been here 2 moons and Sunstar hasn't even lost ONE life yet. slow down

Runnelkit continues to pester older cats to play with her. Meanwhile, Howlkit seems to be cross with Yewkit about something. The sole son of the litter is too busy chasing his tail to notice.

From StarClan, Moonthistle is hoping to meet with a medicine cat soon buddy buddy whats going on

Quarter is quick to work on Squirrelface and Golddawn's relationship with the newest medicine cat. The last thing BumbleClan needs is all 3 medicine cats being cross with one another

Patrols:

With Brokenspots recovered from her whitecough, Buzzardpoppy and Haventail take her out to train together. Haventail suggests they practice hunting techniques. Everyone has a nice session and new tricks under their paw to try out next hunting patrol.

The medicine cats head out together to gather herbs. The gaggle of cats stroll through BumbleClan's territory, chatting amicably amongst themselves. It's a rare opportunity, for them to all be out like this together, and though the weather is poor and not really ideal for herb-gathering, each cat plans to make the most of it. It starts pouring while they're out, and even Golddawn has to admit defeat and lead them home.

Stoatskip, Kokichi, and Stoatstalk head out for the first border patrol. They hear the sound of barking and cautiously go to investigate. Near the border, they spot a dog chasing something. A cat! The patrol jumps to action to chase the dog off, a group of cats is much more powerful than one, and they convince the dog to flee with little difficulty. They go to check on the feline, but in their adrenaline haze take a swipe at Stoatstalk before running away.

The final patrol of the moon is lead by Gracklegorse, taking Plumshine and Hazelbloom with them. The patrol catches scent of a mouse nearby. Plumshine pinpoints the location of the prey and begins creeping forward. They're almost within pouncing distance when the mouse suddenly bolts. With a lash of their tail, Plumshine leaps forward, barely snagging it before it enters it's burrow.

MOONTHISTLE. STOP FORSEEING DEMISES. YOURE SCARING ME. NOT YOUR BROTHER….

Fawnroot wants to warn Stoatskip. what that his brother saw his impending doom??

Gracklegorse feels a sense of dread. BESTIES what is going ON

Stoatskip is growing fond of Runnelkit :3 they're a fisty little one. that doesnt mean im letting u take on another apprentice SIR

Moon 21: Leaf-bare begins

Stoatstalk itches uncomfortably, wishing his wound would just close up and heal already, but it seems to only be getting worse.

Mudfur's tail is finally gone. It was more of a relief than anything. The frostbitten flesh was already dead, so she had no issue taking it off before it fell off on it's own.

Runnelkit has gotten kittencough.

Squirrelface wishes she was as pretty as Haventail. ur bootiful to me and Stoatstalk its ok

Haventail awakes with a start. Fire. Fire was all she could remember. She rushes out of the warriors den with a start to find Buzzardpoppy and Hazelbloom at the fresh kill pile, asking what's wrong. Just a dream, the camp is safe, she's alive. Her mother and brother comfort her, and assure her that it's too cold of a season for fires.

Howlkit has a wonderful time discussing Clan happenings with Brokenspots :3

Featherfoot and Squirrelface spar in the clearing, Plumshine tries to get Golddawn to join in.

Buzzardpoppy and his sister are distracted from Mudfur's story, upsetting the elder. Haventail voices her anxieties in a way that puts off Squirrelface.

Quarter, now free of her running nose, tells Brokenspots of her old kittypet life, meaning for it to stay private. Brokenspots ends up telling another cat regardless.

Thoughts and In-Camp actions:

In the medicine den, Mudfur was given juniper. Her frostbite has healed, but she will always carry evidence of the incident on her pelt. The medicine cats also refresh their moss stock.

Golddawn applies more cobwed to Stoatstalk's injury, it will hopefully heal sooner.

Squirrelface could not find any herbs, but the older cats were able to gather some goldenrod and dandelion.

Quarter and Brokenspots eavesdrops on Gracklegorse talking to his sick kit. Runnelkit is asking who their mentor will be.

Stoatstalk leaves fresh-kill at Moonthistle's grave.

Plumshine, Kokichi, and Hazelbloom try to set a good example for the kits.

Mudfur is being grumped at by the kits for no longer having a tail to play with. sadge

Buzzardpoppy spars with some Clanmates while his sister helps escort the medicine cats.

Also: the fire dream was written entirely by me, this is because i had to restart the game because the first instance of moon 21 had Haventail burned alive saving Stoatstalk from a fire. there was an extra thing of her brother reacting to her death and everything. litcherally traumatizing idc how much it makes sense with these demises prophecies that shit SUCKED

Brokenspots confindes in Quarter, asking the older cat to help keep up the warrior's good relationship with Howlkit, hoping to be chosen for the kit's mentor when the time comes. Quarter happily agrees.

Patrols:

The medicine cats head out to gather herbs, Haventail goes with them as an escort. BumbleClan can never had enough cobwebs, Squirrelface instructs the patrol, and leads them on a search for some, hoping to get more to treat her wounded mate. The medicine cat mrrps with laughter, watching Golddawn parade around with such a big bundle that her former mentor keeps colliding with things in her path she can't see. The entire patrol has gotten a wonderful haul, and it's a very pleased Squirrelface that leads them back to camp.

Gracklegrose leads border patrol, taking Plumshine, Kokichi, and Brokenspots with them. Kokichi finds a loner who offers their healing skills in exchange for shelter. She happily explains Bumbleclan, but after learning more, the loner politely declines.

Stoatskip takes Hazelbloom and Buzzardpoppy out to practice. His mate and the younger cat get into a disagreement regarding what Haventail's dream could have meant. Unable to come to a understanding, they look to Stoatskip to settle this. Stoatskip nods sympathetically, and is able to calm the cats down, convincing them to agree to disagree.

Thoughts before the New Moon:

Outside of BumbleClan, Whiskers sniffs around OatClan territory curiously.

Sunstar wonders if Golddawn has gotten any prophecies from StarClan, well she fucking NEEDS to with all these demise visions theyve been having.

Featherfoot is interpreting a prophecy. whatd they say, lad

Haventail is worried about Yewkit :( Haventail i literally love you so much if anything happens to you(again) ill die and go to hell

Howlkit and Runnelkit are asking how kittens are made.......sighs

And now the part where everything goes Wrong!

Moon 22:

Runnelkit was unable to fight off her kittencough. BumbleClan mourns their loss. Her last moments were spent sunbathing with Quarter and Buzzardpoppy. Gracklegorse takes her to be buried.

Shortly after Runnelkit's funeral, Plumshine brings a single kit into camp, they refuse to talk about it's origins, they name them Flowerkit.

Sunstar has healed from the strain of giving birth, but the hole Runnelkit left in her heart remains.

Stoatskip finds the way Haventail acts extremely uncomfrotable. Why is everyone suddenly mean to her. be nice to her right fucking now.

Featherfoot notices Gracklegorse hasn't been taking their health all too seriously. hmm idk maybe its the MOURNING his DAUGHTER

Hazelbloom tripped on a rabbit hole :( hurt him foot

Haventail wants to spend more time with Staotstalk! friendship :3

Thoughts and In-Camp actions:

Stoatstalk is given poppy and goldenrod to treat his infected injury.

The herb stores are inspected, and the medicine cats notice some of the ragwort gone bad, and make a note to look for some. Squirrelface had gathered some lungwort, but Featherfoot and Golddawn were unable to find anything.

Kokichi eavesdrops on Haventail, and notices her daughter is a bit gloomy today.

Despite his sprain, Hazelbloom tries to set a good example for the new kit.

Outside of BumbleClan. Whiskers was almost eaten by a monster- jesus christ thank god hes ok.

From the safety of his kittypet home, Razzle watches the clouds roll by.

From StarClan, Moonthistle hopes to meet with one of the medicine cats soon.

Quarter speaks with Haventail and Buzzardpoppy at their father's request, keeping an eye that the siblings stay close in these trying times.

Patrols:

Sunstar accompanies the medicine cats for an herb gathering run. With the motley assortment of Clanmates behind her, Golddawn heads out on patrol, searching for the ever-green, ever-reliable horsetail to harvest. But her work is once again effected by her distracted mind, and the patrol returns home empty-handed and snappy with each other.

Gracklegorse leads the patrol, taking Stoatskip, Haventail, and Plumshine with him. While walking along the border, they notice an OatClan patrol renewing their scent marks up ahead. The patrol leads give a quick nod of acknowledgement when they pass.

Kokichi leads the final patrol for the moon, going hunting with her son and Brokenspots. The patrol hears distant howls and goes to investigate, the sound leads them to a coyote, scavenging from a carcass. It notices the patrol before they are able to run and lunges forward, making it clear that this food has been claimed. Brokenspots' tail is momentarily caught between the coyote's teeth before Buzzardpoppy and Kokichi retaliate and drive it off their Clanmate.

Thoughts before the New Moon:

Featherfoot wonders how Howlkit is doing :(

Stoatskip is sparring with Clanmates, he also no longer has romantic ticks for Hazelbloom but still has one for Gracklegorse. Uh Oh.

Plumshine has been roped into play mossball with the kits :3

Outside of BumbleClan territory, Whisker stays in a Twoleg den for a couple of days for food and warmth. Meanwhile. Razzle exits his den to scratch at a tree he's been eyeing.

From StarClan, Runnelkit is sad to watch her family grow up without her :( throws up

and thats that on worlds most Depressing Moon. literally my favorite number and they do this to me. fucking hate it here

Moon 23:

Stoatstalk has recovered from his infection.

Mudfur and Stoatskip think about how reliable Haventail is :3 thank god Haventail love return

Hazelbloom hatches a plan with Squirrelface to sneak out of camp 🤨 what u two doin

KOKICHI PRAYS THAT HE ISNT ON PATROL WITH BUZZARDPOPPY??? THATS UR SON

Gracklegorse takes group sunbaths with on two different days, the first day is with Quarter and Flowerkit, the second Haventail and Brokenspots.

Howlkit and Yewkit get into a fight over a feather, and end up breaking the feather in the process. It's ok bc they swap favorite prey later :3

Flowerkit got Quarter in trouble. SAD

Thoughts and In-Camp actions:

Gracklegorse thinks about Moonthistle. Sunstar stares off into space. ok break my heart at the start why dontcha

Golddawn rethinks their life choices. you're 12 years old ma'am whats up :( u ok? In the medicine cat den, Stoatstalk's wound is treated with oak leaves and burdock. Hazelbloom is given elder leaves for his sprain. Brokenspots is given oak leaves for her mangled tail. Squirrelface and Golddawn gather cobwebs and plantain, Featherfoot is unable to find any herbs.

Squirrelface wonders how Mudfurs doing. the elder wishes to get to know her better :3

Plumshine announces they are heading to the dirtplace... ok bestie have a good shit dont fall in <3

Stoatstalk is a bit cross with Howlkit. She's nervous for her apprentice ceremony next moon.

From StarClan, Runnelkit is looking to visit her brother in a dream soon 🥺

Outside of Clan territory, Whiskers gets invited to spend the night with a group of friendly loners. Razzle wanders around his neighborhood.

Mudfur privately requests a meditating session with Squirrelface to Quater, she happily agrees and helps the cat respect each other a bit more.

Patrols:

Sunstar and Gracklegorse go hunting with Plumshine. i reset the game bc gracklegorse died the same way moonthistle did. Plumshine encounters a porcupine and narrowly avoids it whipping it's tail towards them. The patrol gives the porcupine a wide berth.

Stoatskip takes Kokichi and Buzzardpoppy with him for border patrol. They track the scent of a large dog along the edge of BumbleClan territory. Stoatskip selflessly leads the lion's share of the run they lead the dog on, exhausting himself a dangerous amount, but leading the dog far away from BumbleClan borders. His Clanmates support him on the long walk home once it's all over, their purrs mixing with Stoatskip's exhausted pants.

Haventail follows the medicine cats with them to gather herbs. As Featherfoot pads through the territory, he senses a presence join them. The connection goes away as soon as it appears god DAMN IT YALL--

Thoughts before the New Moon:

Howlkit snuggles up to her worried mother, Sunstar watching over the kit cautiously.

Featherfoot checks in on the warriors, Squirrelface is grateful for the fellow medicine cat's help. Plumshine wonders if the she-cat has gotten any prophecies.

Brokenspots eavesdrops on her former mentor, who is setting a positive example for the soon-to-be apprentices alongside Hazelbloom and Kokichi.

From StarClan, Fawnroot plans to send a message, while Runnelkit is thinking of advice to give a medicine cat. oh baby :(

its at this point the hyperempathy started kicking in and my motivation for the game started to die down, so like 80 years later i finally get back to the next moon. thats just what happens when u get a game abt cat death while cat death is one of the most upsetting things u can experience

and then i took a near month-long break so sorry about that runnelkit really got to me ANYWAYS

Moon 24: New leaf begins anew

As Howlpaw touches noses with her mother and now mentor, she hopes she'll get to do something great for the Clan. Like chase off a fox! That'll show the Clan she's the best apprentice ever! Her brother, Yewpaw, can't sit still as he touches noses with Kokichi, swearing to become the best warrior the Clan has ever seen.

While his original sprain has healed, Haventail as gotten a stomachache, alongside Buzzardpoppy, after sharing an old fresh kill together. Yewpaw has also gotten whitecough. Yewpaw. look at me. Don't You Dare

Stoatstalk and Squirrelface took a moonlit stroll together ooooooooo

Mudfur finds a bit of fluff that reminds her of Yewpaw, she considers gifting it to him.

Sunstar and Howlpaw heckle at other Clan cats at the gathering together. mother-daughter bonding... She also jokes with Brokenspots abt another Clan being stinky hold on as leader shouldnt you be a bit nicer-

MUDFUR AND SUNSTAR GOT INTO AN ARGUMENT??? NAUURR

Thoughts and In-Camp actions:

The medicine cats were able to find a good amount of herbs the start of this moon, Squirrelface finding mullein, and the older cats gathering moss, cobwebs, goldenrod, and rosemary. Brokenspots tail is rapped up with more cobwebs, and Stoatstalk's claw-wound is treated with ragwort.

Sunstar thinks about forming an alliance. well you called at most two other Clans stinky and heckled at them so good luck w that bbgrl

Gracklegorse is unsure of what the rest of the Clan thinks of him as deputy :( naur not the old insecurities returning

Featherfoot interprets an omen.....girl what do you see

Buzzardpoppy visits Stoatstalk in the medicine den, the older tom always manages to turn the mood into a light one :)

Outside of the clan, Whisker is almost hit by ANOTHER monster bestie be CAREFUL

From Starclan Fawnroot has seen Yewpaw's future- i cant TAKE IT ANYMORE STOP IT!!!!!! SUNSTAR CANT LOSE TWO KIDS NO!!!!!!!!!!!

MOONTHISTLE IS ALSO DISAPPOINTED IN GRACKLEGORSE??? LEAVE THEM ALONE!!!

After some careful thought, Quarter decided to given herself the full warrior name of Quartermoon, happily accepting that she will likely spend the rest of her life with BumbleClan.

Patrols:

Sunstar and Howlpaw go with the medicine cats to gather herbs. As newleaf brings green back to the world, Squirrelface has been anticipating the unfurling of new leaf buds on elder trees. The patrol goes to find a particular tree in a dip along the stream. Elder leaves being used to soothe sprains, while gathering them in a way that risks sprains, is truly one of StarClan's little ironies. Squirrelface shares a joke with the patrol, who all murrp in amusement, but also take it as a reminder for everyone to be careful as they strip leaves from the tree.

This precious little moment was also caught when I went back to look at camp. family...

Kokichi takes his kids out for a hunting trip. A rabbit startles the patrol while bursting out of it's cover, they rally almost instantly, and manage to corner and successfully capture the rabbit!

Gracklegorse takes the remaining warriors out to secure the border. While on their way, Staotskip notices some suspicious pawprints in the mud under the canopy. The tracks lead to a tresspassing rogue. Hazelbloom throws himself at the cat, hissing furiously, and with his partner they drive the rogue off BumbleClan territory. Gracklegorse gives them a nod of approval.

Howlpaw informs Quartermoon of Sunstar and Mudfur's argument earlier this moon, and the molly works quick to meditate the issue. The elder and leader are on stable terms once again.

Final Thoughts:

Sunstar dreads a meeting she must call later today. bbgrl whats up :(

Golddawn wonders how Stoatstalk is doing. The answer: He feels a sense of dread.

Haventail is feeling under appreciated... girl i appreciate u so fucking much

Brokenspots wonders how Howlpaw is doing. im sorry you didnt get to mentor her i know u were looking forward to it 😔

BumbleClan: Moons 31-33

One very long wait later, we got another quarter of a year in! Sorry it took so long, you know how it is- onto the update!

Thoughts before the New Moon:

Rainkit has tiny little paws....damn he sure does

Mudfur tries to enjoy some time under the sun, but Claykit and Poppykit are working together to pester her to play with them. Flowerpaw attempts to ask her what it's like being an elder. "Just great." she replies, voice dripping in sarcasm.

Stoatskips eavesdrops on Quartermoon. The older she-cat is feeling underappreciated if u mfs do NOT start appreciating my girl-

Hazelbloom and Buzzardpoppy make plans to visit the medicine cats. Hopefully it's not something serious.

Yewpaw daydreams about the day he becomes a warrior....one day buddy i believe in u

Howlfoot wonders how Mistykit is doing, the small kit is still cooped up in the medicine den :(

Outside Clan territories, Whisker thinks they saw Razzle earlier today, but the kittypet recently coward back into his Twoleg den to hide from a strange noise he heard, so it's unlikely.

Mistykit has recovered from kittencough! Just in time for the ceremony!

While he was excited for it, it takes a bit of coaxing from his mother for Mistykit to exit the nursery to come with his siblings to the tree trunk. Shenzibat watches with pride as Sunstar names them apprentices. Poppypaw looks bored, but as she touches noses with Brokenspots, on the inside she's bouncing for joy as if she's still a small kit! Rainpaw touches noses with Stoatstalk, tail lifted high. Mistypaw watches his siblings and their new mentors leave for the clearing, and nervously touches noses with his own mentor, Buzzardpoppy, before joining them.

Stoatskip feels like a small litter is on the way, and promptly moves to the nursery in preparation.

Featherfoot, Flowerpaw, and Haventail have recovered from their sores. As the three join the other medicine cats in herb inspection, it's noted that they'll also have to keep an eye out for mullein this moon, as some of the stock went bad.

Mudfur gots a running nose :(( world cruel to little old ladies

After the ceremony, Sunstar picks up some fresh-kill for her and Gracklegorse to share, the leader and deputy spend the afternoon chatting, Sunstar letting out a long purr at one of her mate's lame jokes.

What she doesn't notice in this time, however, is Claykit sneaking out of camp. Hazelbloom's not gonna forgive this one i think

Golddawn is spreading rumors about Shenzibat???? what'd she do to you wtf she had a fight with Mistypaw before the ceremony but she's literally helping Mudfur get burrs out of her fur right now.

Kokichi also heard a rumor about Yewpaw... was that you too Golddawn what da hell girl

Pong got into a fight with Sunstar??? hellaur...... just after I read that Brokenspots feels safe around you....smh

Howlfoot also took the last of Valentino's favorite nesting material. rip

Thoughts and In-Camp Actions:

Golddawn plays with some wind-swept catmint... again. Featherfoot and Squirrelface successfully bring back mallow and tansy to the herb stores, and the latter leaves the medicine den to check up on the warriors, while Featherfoot tries to talk to Golddawn about how he would be involved more in combat, the older she-cat does not hear him.

Plumshine tries to set a good example to the newly appointed apprentices. They pay the cat no mind. Mistypaw feeling rather lazy on his first day, and Poppypaw seeking out Flowerpaw for some older apprentice advice. Rainpaw is thinking about a time he caught a huge rabbit... That was a dream, of course, and the young cat hasn't gone out hunting yet.

Stoatstalk, in his usual bachelor fashion, has received multiple invitations to share tongues, and is trying to decide which one to take.

Brokenspots stands tall, hoping Sunstar has finally noticed her improvement with her newly found status as mentor.

From StarClan, Fawnroot saw Pong's fight with Sunstar, and is highly disappointed in the warrior. Runnelkit meanwhile has been walking in the dreams of Quartermoon for a few nights now

Patrols:

Gracklegorse has Stoatstalk lead a patrol consisting of the newly appointed mentors and apprentices to check on the borders. While passing under the canopy, Brokenspots alerts her fellow warriors of some suspecious pawprints in the mud. Stoatstalk boldly follows the trail to a tresspassing rogue, Buzzardpoppy commands the apprentices to stick back, and the three warriors fight off the intruder until they flee out of BumbleClan territory.

Howlfoot and Kokichi decide to take Yewpaw out for some training, Squirrelface requests for them to gather some herbs while they're out as well if they could find any. While on the hunt for said herbs, Yewpaw stumbles across a bush or bright red berries. He recognizes them as raspberries and gathers a pawful to bring back to camp, receiving praise from the medicine cats for properly identifying the berries.

Golddawn notices Pong glaring at Sunstar with an odd look in her eye, and offers for the young warrior to join her in gathering some herbs as a distraction. Pong agrees, and the two set out to gather moss. Golddawn leads the way to the best moss patch she knows of, and the two make quick work cutting off bits and pieces to put into their respective piles - once the piles become mouthfuls, they pick up the bundles and start back towards camp.

Golddawn informs Quartermoon of the fight between Pong and Sunstar earlier this moon, and while the warrior isn't ready to face the leader quite yet, she's willing to sit down with the older medicine cat and talk through things.

Plumshine and Valentino set out to go hunting, as they treck through the territory, Valentino comes across a rabbit burrow. He tells Plumshine to go on ahead, and waits next to it, still as stone, until... bam! They pounce the unsuspecting rabbit before it has time to flee.

Featherfoot and Squirrelface stroll through the forest, chatting while they embark for an herb patch the medicine cats haven't visited in a while. Squirrelface lets out a humming noise, "Say... Have you ever thought much about death? Your own, that is." the tomcat swishes his tai "... No, I can't say I have." he mews back "Not past knowing I'll go to StarClan in the end.". It certainly makes for an interesting conversation, and it's all too soon that they have their mouths too full of betony and moss to continue.

Hazelbloom and Shenzibat invite Haventail and her apprentice, Flowerpaw, to join them on a hunting trip. Flowerpaw agrees before Haventail, excited to do something outside of helping the medicine cats. Once they exit camp, Hazelbloom brings up a rumor she's been hearing about a badger denning somewhere in BumbleClan territory. Carefully considering their options, Shenzibat proposes they set up a stakeout outside the supposed den. Once dusk arrives, and the badger pokes it's head above the ground, the patrol is prepared, and everyone turns for home in unison. The cats fade into the underbrush before the predator even has the chance to blink the sleep out of its eyes.

Sunstar has a crazed look in her eyes. Gracklegorse offers for her to join him on one last round around the territory before the sun sets. She agrees, and the two set out. While walking along the border, they catch sight of an OatClan patrol renewing their scent marks up ahead. When they get close enough to cross paths, the patrol leader gives Sustar a respectful nod, which she returns. The two patrols refocus on their tasks without stopping for conversation, but there is a feeling of mutual respect in the air.

Thoughts before the New Moon:

Mudfur tells the story of how she lost her tail to a very interested Claykit. the young kit has tears in her eyes

While the apprentices take a break from their training, Howlfoot has a few of them engaged in a very, very tall tale. Mistypaw listens intently as he sunbaths, and Rainpaw is taking mental notes as he picks burrs from his pelt. Stoatstalk watches form afar, wanting to get to know his adopted sister a little better.

Plumshine has been caught faking a bellyache, and is getting a stern lecture from the medicine cats.

Kokichi wonders how Featherfoot is doing. well he's currently thinking abt taking on a new apprentice and I mean there's Claykit still and she has some little siblings on da way- i believe in u featherfoot...

Outside camp, Whisker feels as if they saw Buzzardpoppy recently... pspspspspsps come hoooome cmooon

Moon 32:

Sunstar gazes proudly at her son, Yewpaw. He had spent this entire apprenticeship helping the Clan, and handled his sister graduating before him well, and so, with a nose touched to his forehead, she names him Yewsong for his altruism.

Squirrelface, who recently always seems to have herbs stuck to her, was bitten by a snake, but has miraculously survived!

In the quiet of the nursery, in a nest they've spent so long preparing, Stoatskip and Hazelbloom welcome a litter of two kits, Goldkit and Burrkit. While gathering horsetail to help with the birth, the medicine cats notice the lungwort has gone back, they will need to restock soon. Once the stress of the birth is over, Hazelbloom pulls Claykit close to help pick burrs out of her fur, it may or may not have been the inspiration for her younger sibling's name.

Haventail heads out for a walk, keeping and eye out for lungwort after asking Featherfoot what herbs she should keep and eye out for, and gets her paw stuck in a twoleg trap. She manages to get out and returns to camp gravly injured. Yewsong finds Hazelblooms choice of name for his kit annoying. well good thing its not YOUR kit huh

Featherfoot jokes about OatClan's scent with Pong, and also shares a complaint of his regarding Quartermoon, which the mediator overhears. In her mix of emotions, they end up getting in a spat with Buzzardpoppy over a pice of fresh-kill. Buzzardpoppy then gets into a fight with Rainpaw. horrible chain-reaction there.

Stoatskip talks to Golddawn, confessing that their second kit is in fact named after the elder, and goes to spar with Shenzibat after the conversation. Estatic at the news, Golddawn misses Gracklegorse when going to pick up the last of his favorite nesting material, drawing the ire of the deputy. He decides not to confront her, however.

Mudfur thinks Shenzibat hasn't been entirely honest with the Clan about her recent whereabouts lately. Poppypaw doesn't seem to care too much, thinking the warrior was nice today :)

Kokichi and Brokenspots share the latest gossip the older cat overheard over the border, before he goes to check on Squirrelface, and the two talk about recent Clan happenings.

Thoughts and In-Camp actions:

returning to camp with a bundle of dandelion and betony, Featherfoot looks to apologize to Quartermoon. Golddawn successfully gathers mullein, despite hearing the voice of Bushrush in her head.

Gracklegorse is also looking to talk to Quartermoon, but the older cat is currently working out Pong and Sunstar's differences, While Pong is stubborn in her dislike for the leader, she's able to trust her a little more.

Valentino eavesdrops on Stoatstalk while the younger warrior spars with Yewsong and Kokichi, what they're eavesdropping for is anyones guess.

After Squirrelface and Haventail's accidents, Buzzardpoppy offers to gather herbs for the medicine den in his sisters stead.

Howlfoot has been caught imitating her mother's behavior a couple times. cuuuuuuuuuuuute

In the apprentice's den, Flowerpaw gossips with Mistypaw as they sharpen their claws. Poppypaw talks about a large rabbit she caught a while back, which makes Rainpaw hungry.

From StarClan, Fawnroon looks to send a message to Stoatskip....about what he just got done giving birth

Gracklegorse confides in Sunstar, doubting his abilities as deputy. To help lift her mate's spirits, she takes them out of camp to train, the older she-cats insecurities don't fully deminish, but it did cheer him up a little. The two walk back to camp in a slightly better mood.

Howlfoot feels a sense of dread as Pong heads out to hunt alone, the warrior previously contemplating to her if she could kill a fox all by herself, Howlfoot decides to follow somewhat behind to keep an eye on her. Thankfully, no foxes show up, and Pong returns to camp none the wiser of her secret patrol companion with a large rabbit in her mouth.

Kokichi takes up mentoring Flowerpaw while his mentor is in the medicine den, and, much to the apprentice's dismay, takes him to accompany Featherfoot in some herb gathering. He tasks the two cats to assist him in gathering plaintain. Flowerpaw feels it more as their clearing a path than gathering herbs, but grows less irritated the more they gather, and the three return to camp with a decent stock of it.

Stoatstalk and the felow mentors take their apprentices out on a hunting patrol. As they walk along the border lines, the patrol hears a strange noise coming form the bush. Mistypaw takes the lead and checks it out, only to come face to face with an angry fox! While he backpedaled before it could bite his face off, it still manages to take a good bite at his leg before the rest of the patrol can back him up.

Golddawn goes out to attend one of the grimmer jobs of a medicine cat- tending to the grounds where BumbleClan mourns their dead. Hazelbloom offers to accompany her on this, which the older she-cat agrees. While there's nothing different about the place, Golddawn always feels that the greif and love their Clanmates express here has seeped into every corner. The two cats tidy the grounds, gathering rosemary as they work. Golddawn thinks it feels appropriate for the plant to grow here, when it's herbs are used to cover the scent of death.

Thoughts Before the New Moon:

Gracklegorse organizes some final patrols, checking in with Sunstar to see if they seem right to her. She isn't really hearing that much of it, has she's kind of been zoned out most of the day. Rainpaw approaches the deputy to see if he needs any help, which they happily accept and use it as a good teaching moment for the young apprentice about patrols.

Stoatskip silently contemplates the Clan's ancestroy while Golddawn enters the nursery to check on him and the kits, she gives a warm smile to Goldkit as he mewls for what the two older cats assume is milk. What their unaware of is that the late Runnelkit stumbled into the kits dreams on accident the previous night.

Squirrelface interprets an omen from her spot in the medicine den while Featherfoot walks around camp to check on the warriors. Yewsong enters afterwards to help organize the herb storage.

Pong mentions to Featherfoot that she's felt the need to wash her paws a lot lately, and that she saw Shenzibat leave camp without talking to anyone but where she could be going. The medicine cat thanks her and tells her to update him on if her paws get further irritated.

Plumshine and Valentino are feeling sassy today. oooooooo

In the apprentice's den, Poppypaw is basking in the sun while Flowerpaw frets over an assessment the warriors gave to him. Outside the Clan. Razzle is missing Whisker, who just got invited to spend the night with a group of loners! good for him now pspspps come join the clan thanks

I totally didn't restart the game to save rainpaw from certain doom at the cost of mistypaw's leg. anyway onto the next moon-

Moon 33: Leaf-Bare

Mudfur's nose has cleared up, and watches Claykit from a distance as she is named apprentice. Claypaw bounds over to Shenzibat to touch noses with her new mentor. Mudfur doesn't entirely understand the choice, but notices that Stoatskip might be even more against the idea, seeing the tom glare Shenzibat's way, keeping his kits close by him.

Kokichi overhears Buzzardpoppy complain that Flowerpaw isn't very helpful around camp, and assigns the older apprentice to help fix up Mudfur's nest, much to Flowerpaw's dismay. Claypaw disagrees with Buzzardpoppy, however, and offers to help Flowerpaw out!

Chain reaction of some kind: Kokichi tells off Featherfoot for checking on him too much, and he wants to spend more time with Pong, who just got into a fight with Quartermoon. whats going on here.

Hazelbloom got into a fight with Mistypaw over a feather...Gracklegorse somehow finds Mistypaw to be the annoying one despite Hazelbloom being the older cat in this situation??? hellaur.

Thoughts and In-Camp actions:

Squirrelface, Haventail, and Mistypaw are all treated with wild garlic for their wounds, unfortunately, there's only one left in stores, and Golddawn and Featherfoot failed to find anything in their start of the moon patrol. Golddawn hopes that StarClan gives them a good sign soon.

Shenzibat hopes to set a better example to the younger cats, now that she has a apprentice of her own. Perhaps Sunstar knew that giving her more responsibility would help keep her out of trouble?

Yewsong, Stoatstalk, and Hazelbloom spar in camp while the apprentices watch. Flowerpaw is nervous about upcoming patrols, but Buzzardpoppy assures him that today will be a good one. Brokenspots watches the sparring warriors a little further back, pondering what Hazelbloom might be thinking about.

Claypaw isn't paying attention to the sparring though, instead is eating her fresh-kill near the medicine den while Haventail tells her a tall-tale. Rainkit is with them, but is also keeping a close eye on the spar, and a closer eye on Brokenspots, wanting to get to know his brother's mentor a bit more!

Outside of Clan borders, Razzle feels he saw Whiskers again, but isn't entirely sure. Whisker herself is hiding under an old barn, wishing newleaf to come around already.

Things are rather down in StarClan, Fawnroot is missing Sunstar, Moonthistle is sad to see how much the Clan has changed without him. And poor Runnelkit is wishing she got to be a medicine cat. i WILL reincarnate you i promise just let me find the right cat--

Shenzibat takes Claypaw out for her first hunt, and the two find a pair of squirrels chasing one another across the forest floor. Taking the oppertunity, Shenzibat teaches Claypaw how to properly remain undetected, and, with the squirrels distracted, they both successfully catch one. Hazelbloom gives Claypaw praise for the catch.

Sunstar and Gracklegorse lead a patrol, taking Stoatstalk and Buzzardpoppy with them, along with the two toms' apprentices. The patrol discuss the badger that has been found denning in the territory a few moons ago, and decide to go and check and see if it's still there. They locate the den and begin sniffing along the outside, when a rustle is heard-- the badger emerges, more confused than the cats are surprised. A rush of confused claws and flying fur fills the area as the patrol scatters and the beast charges for them. Poppypaw's leg is injured in the process, but everyone makes it home safe... Including the badger.

Brokenspots notices Burrkit attempting to sneak out of camp, but quickly stops the kit alongside Rainpaw. It's far too cold for her to leave the safety of the nursery, and the two escort her back to Stoatskip, who gives his daughter a proper scolding. Brokenspots worries for Burrkit, noticing the symptoms of her headache. Rainpaw feels a sense of dread, thankful they they spotted her before it was too late. Fawnroot watches the incident. and plans to warn Brokenspots of something.

Golddawn and Featherfoot exit camp, determined to find herbs this time around. But, while exploring, they find a nice rock to sunbathe on, and seize the chance to take a break and warm up a bit. Unfortunately, they doze off, and it's far too late to gather any herbs by the time they awake.

With her apprentice and his mentor both stuck in the medicine den, Brokenspots offers to train Flowerpaw, and the older apprentice happily agrees. Once they reach the clearing, Brokenspots declares that nows a good time to practice his climbing skills! Flowerpaw quickly picks up her tips, and backs it to the top of the bare tree and back down with ease.

Brokenspots and Haventail have a long discussion, with Quartermoon there to mediate. It goes extremely well, and both she-cats find themselves quite fond of each other.

Hazebloom and Kokichi catch scent of a fox out on their hunt, and track it down to find the stocky animal feasting on a small deer carcass. Fresh-kill like that is perfect for this early into leaf-bare. The two cats leap into battle, but with just the two of them they begin to tire quickly keeping the fox on the defensive. In a swift act of bravery, Hazelbloom ducks under it's jaws and seeks her teeth into the fox's throat. It's not that deep of a bite, but enough for the fox to give up and flee.

Valentino, Pong, and Plumshine head out to patrol the border, coming across a OrioleClan patrol renewing their own scent marks up ahead. Valentino and the patrol leader give each other a quick nod of acknowledgement as they pass by before they both refocus on their own tasks.

Howlfoot and Yewsong go out for one final hunt before dusk sets, and discover a Thunderpath running through the forest. Paying attention to the sounds of upcoming monsters and the vibrations on the ground, the two cross it and continue their hunt successfully, though they find an alternate route back to camp when it starts to get dark.

Final Thoughts:

In StarClan, Fawnroot plans out his message to Brokenspots, and Runnelkit looks to warn Poppypaw about the badger, but Moonthistle gently informs her that it's too late, but Poppypaw is okay.

Rainpaw is dreaming abt having a mate and kits someday.....awh.......

Flowerpaw attempts to eavesdrop on Buzzardpoppy, but the warrior isn't saying a lot, preferring to be left alone today.

Goldkit has tiny little paws. just so you know.

Pong looks to the medicine den, wondering if Featherfoot has gotten any prophecies, lucky for us, he has! He's interpreting one right now.

Outside the territory, Whisker chows down on some food given to him by a Twoleg. The first moon of leaf-bare is over with no casualties, but the winter cold isn't over yet...

Squirrelface is Azaleaclan’s nervous little medicine cat. ever since he was a kit he had no interest in fighting, very contrary to to his brothers, Chantrellekit and Daffodilkit, wanted to fight anything that moves. and as he started out as a warrior apprentice, he was easily distracted when hunting or during training. when Chantrellepaw was attacked by dogs after going out with Daffodilpaw and exploring iron tree place. Squirrelpaw would stay with them in Featherwind’s den, often helping Featherwind with the herbs and becoming great friends with the old medicine cat. so Featherwind got he newly appointed Crowstar to make Squirrelpaw his apprentice. nowadays he has his own apprentice, Lilypaw, who is very excitable and super peppy, but has a knack for finding herbs.

BumbleClan: 18 months in

thats right another update already babey(because i cannot stop playing this game)

Previously: Squirrelface and Buzzardpaw both had sprains, and Golddawn saw a ghost, but didn't really get a chance to react before it disappeared.

Quarter holds a meditating meeting with Sunstar and Squirrelface to work out Sunstar's recent comments towards the younger she-cat. it goes a little better than expected...???? i now know to turn off allow romantic sometimes

Patrols:

Stoatskip leads border patrol with Havenpaw and Hazelbloom. While walking along the border, they notice a HushClan patrol renewing their scent marks up ahead. Once the patrols cross paths, Havenpaw is quick to break the awkward atmosphere with a friendly greeting. The patrols pause to converse for a little while, Havenpaw bringing up a story that, while embarrassing for her, is entertaining and lighthearted. The patrols part in good spirits. another Havenpaw W 😎

Golddawn takes Kokichi with her to gather herbs. As she pads through the Clan's territory, she feels another presence join them. The connection wavers and fades, just as it did the previous moon :(

Sunstar, Gracklegorse, and Stoatstalk head off to the final patrol for this moon. While hunting, they catch the scent of a fox- and find one feasting on a deer fawn carcass. It's unlikely it killed a fawn of this size. The cats are only just smaller and outnumber the fox, if only by a little, and it's a prize they're willing to fight for. With a prayer to StarClan they throw themselves into battle, and the fox, already half full of venison and unwilling to lose blood over it, is driven off from the kill.

Moon 14:

Squirrelface and Buzzardpaw have both recovered from their sprains!

Quarter traveled to HushClan to resolve some recent border disputes. However, it seemed Quarter only made HushClan more upset. (thats probably bc u still have ur kitypet name bbgrl u shouldve let someone else go with you...)

Squirrelface and Sunstar went for a nice long walk together :3

Stoatskip wants to spend more time with Stoatstalk! stoatx2 friendship is real in BumbleClan

The tick bites Mudfur was suffering from have healed.

Sunstar asked to swap prey with Mudfur, who happily agreed :)

Patrols:

Sunstar and Buzzardpaw accompany Golddawn in herb gathering. With the newleaf sun hidden behind cloudy drizzle, it's a damp day to find thyme, and the patrol would rather have this over with quickly. With the drizzle hiding scents, Golddawn almost walks straight past the thyme plant- but Sunstar calls her over. Thanks to its calming, well-loed scent, medicine cats aren't the only Clan cats who can identify this plant, a fact that Golddawn is greatful for right about now.

Gracklegorse leads border patrol with Stoatskip and Havenpaw. While on patrol, Stoatskip notices som e suspecious pawprints in the mud beneath the canopy. Turns out they were his own pawprints. Stoatskip can't meet the eyes of the rest of the patrol. (lmao)

Hazelbloom, Kokichi, and Stoatstalk patrol together. Stoatstalk and Kokichi get into a dispute, which they look for Hazelbloom to settle. He has no time for this spant and pulls the patrol to a halt to remind them that they have a star-damned job to do and quarreling like kittens will not be tolerated. The patrol returns to collecting nesting material with newfound vigor.

Thoughts before the next Moon:

Sunstar begins pondering recent dreams she's been having... perhaps from StarClan?

Moon 15: Greenleaf

Stoatskip got stuck in a Twoleg trap! He eventually escaped, but his leg is heavily injured

Kokichi's kits have now graduated, Sunstar calls a meeting and proclaims them both warriors, Buzzardpaw is named Buzzardpoppy, honoring his commitment, while his sister is named Haventail to celebrate her nurturing precense.

Quarter was bitten by a snake! but she's alive as of right now.

Hazelbloom appreciates Buzzardpoppy for pointing out something amiss with his appearence, and admires Haventail's bravery.

Stoatstalk was seen arguing and borderline fighting with a loner boy WHAT are you doing

Gracklegorse lets Quarter vent her worries to him.

Stoatstalk thinks about how lucky he is to have someone like Sunstar was a friend...found family strikes again

Haventail bumped into her mother and did NOT say sorry AGAIN girl WHAT are you DOING

Squirrelface and Golddawn had gathered cobwebs and tansy, and were quick to put the cobwebs to use on Stoatskip's mangled leg. With Quarter recovering from her snake bit, there would be no meditating this moon.

Patrols:

Gracklegorse takes Buzzardpoppy and Haventail on their first border patrol as warriors. As the patrol checks the border markings, an OatClan patrol appears and begins jeering at the Bumbleclan cats. Buzzardpoppy is quick to strike up conversation with the other patrol, trying to get to the root of their rudeness. Eventually the problem is smoothed over, nothing but a misunderstanding and unfounded assumptions. thank GOD thank you Buzzard i was nervous abt those guys

Stoatstalk and Squirrelface go herb gathering together... its a repeat of their previous time gathering herbs together Stoatstalk that is your MATE BE NICE TO HER........WE'RE LOSING SQUIRRELSTOAT NATION

Hazelbloom and Kokichi practice hunting techniques together. Both cats have a nice session, swapping their best tips and tricks with each other :)

Golddawn gathers herbs alone, while searching for some specific herbs, she's startled by weird sounds and whispers in the wind. she finds another queen and her kits, gone too soon. she cancels the patrol and returns to camp to help hold a vigil for them.

SquirrelStoat's romance has been pretty rocky, but they both feel secure with each other. Stoatstalk also has 6 platonic love bars for Sunstar 🥺💜

Thoughts before the next Moon:

Sunstar insists that she should have TEN lives instead of nine. she has not lost a single one but i agree with her.

Patrols:

Buzzardpoppy takes his sister and new warrior Plumshine to go hunting together. Haventail spots a fat rabbit on the other side of the OrioleClan border. A tempting opportunity, but it may be best to hunt in her own clan's territory. Before she can make a decision, Plumshine pounces on the rabbit with no hesitation! They easily kill the rabbit before glancing up and coming face to face with an OrioleClan cat. Plumshine is promptly chased back over the border and the other cat glares, hissing and spitting, until the patrol leaves the area.

Squirrelface leads the herb gathering patrol, with her mate and former mentor by her side. Surprisingly, Stoatstalk actually starts up a conversation about the herbs they're looking for this time. Squirrelface launchers into the usual spiel, but even more astonishingly, Stoatstalk is actually interested, and it makes her heart feel lighter getting to share her knowledge and skills with someone who respects her. They were able to find marigold and rosemary before returning to camp (sorry you had to third wheel Golddawn but SQUIRRELSTOAT NATION IS WINNING)

Gracklegorse patrols the border with Hazelbloom and Kokichi. The cats begin to discuss rumors they've been hearing of a badger denning in a certain part of BumbleClan territory. Kokichi decides there has to be a easy way of figuring out if a badger has moved in without coming face to face with the predator. He leads the patrol on a search of the clearning around the sett until they come upon some fresh badger scat- stinky, horrible, and perfect proof of the new occupant of the sett.

This moon the medicine cats both gathered oak leaves, Squirrelface gathered an additional moss and ragwort, while Golddawn acquired some lungwort and rosemary this moon.

Gracklegorse assigns cats to the dawn patrol, Golddawn is excited for another half moon meeting, while her former apprentice, Squirrelface, is tending to growing herbs

Haventail wants to surprise some1 w a gift!

Quarter notices some tension between Plumshine and Stoatskip, and decides to hold a meditating session between the two cats. They don't get along instantly, but the two cats are a little more comfortable around each other now.

Patrols:

Kokichi takes Plumshine and her kids on border patrol. As they begin checking border lines, they notice that HushClan scent has strayed into their territory. They follow the scent to a HushClan cat taking refuge up a tree. The cat yowls a warning and the patrol scatters when they hear the cry. Just in time, too, as a large dog jumps at the patrol, catching Plumshine but thankfully only injuring them before Plumshine tears themself free and sprints away (torn coat injury acquired. also HushClan relationship worsened i guess???? fucked up)

Gracklegorse goes training with Hazelbloom and Stoatstalk. Hazelbloom takes charge and coordinates exercises for the patrol. Soon the cats are practicing trips, tricks, and tumbles.

Squirrelface and Golddawn stroll through the territory, chatting while on their way to an herb patch they haven't visited in a while. Golddawn asks the younger she-cat what she thinks the nature of StarClan is. Squirrelface swishes her tail, admitting she never really thought about it, past the fact that they're ancestral spirits. It certainaly makes for interesting conversation, and it's all too soon that they pick the herbs and have their mouths too full of marigold and lungwort to continue.

Thoughts before next Moon:

From StarClan, Moonthistle is disappointed in Plumshine. everyone so mean over that rabbit incident huh

Gracklegorse does his best to honor their Clan and their leader. Sunstar makes a solemn vow to protect their Clanmates.

Quarter feels a sense of pride after meditating the two previous cats. Squirrelface wishes to speak to her about something.

Fawnroot is hoping he'll be remembered. so what if i exploded

Stoatskip tries to reassure some Clanmates that StarClan will guide them... his mentor and bruder up there they're in good hands he knows this.

Kokichi is chastising Clanmates for... something. the other cats aren't quite sure what for.

Buzzardpopy and Haventail offer to assist the medicine cats :)

Moon 18:

In the nursery, Sunstar lies suckling newborn Howlkit, Yewkit, and Runnelkit. Gracklegorse watches over them proudly, purring so hard their body vibrates.

Stoatskip has fully recovered from his previously mangled leg! You can't even tell something had happened to it. Plumshine's coat has also recovered from the dog attack.

Kokichi, unfortunately, has gotten Squirrelface's fleas. a bit of a problem that the medicine cat has fleas huh.

Plumshine finds a young kittypet named Broken, who decides to join the clan. She decides to keep her old name, but takes on the more Clan-fitting version of Brokenpaw. Stoatskip decides to mentor her. Sunstar's kits mewl welcomes to the new apprentice.

Haventail makes sure Buzzardpoppy knows he is loved 🥺💜💜💜

The medicine cats replace their old supply of thyme. Squirrelface gathered more cobwebs after using some to help with recent kit's birth. Golddawn was unable to find any new herbs this moon.

Quarter travels to OrioleClan to resolve some recent herb-gathering disputes.

Stoatskip, Kokichi, and Hazelbloom talk together over their fresh kill.

Buzzardpoppy finds a much needed herb for the medicine cats while on hunting patrol. so nice to the medicine cats i love u Buzzardpoppyyyy

Mudfur's aching bones predict soon to come rainy weather.

Stoatstalk is a little exhausted from how many cats come to him for things :( it's tough being the Clan favorite.

Quarter decides to hold a meditating session with Stoatskip and his new apprentice, in order for Brokenpaw's training to go as smoothly as possible.

Patrols:

Hazelbloom takes his mate and his new apprentice on a hunting patrol. As the patrol heads out into the forest to hunt Stoatskip seems to be absolutely unconcerned with his duties, instead ambling along as though the prey is going to waltz into his paws. Stoatskip makes it look easy, and when the patrol is done mousing everyone else ends up carrying catches mostly brought down by him. He leads the way back to camp, sauntering with a distinctly smug sway of his hips.

Squirrelface sniffs the clean fresh morning air, wondering if she can smell juniper berries on the breeze. She assembles a patrol with Haventail and Buzzardpoppy to investigate. The warriors and full of complaints about the sharp juniper needles spiking their poor widdle noses, and eventually a mildly disgusted Squirrelface calls off the herb gathering patrol -_-

Gracklegorse leads the border patrol, taking the remaining available warriors with them. The patrol comes across a small dog, right on the border of BumbleClan territory. Kokichi tries to drive it off, but it only gets further excited, and the cats are forced to wait exasperatedly in a safe spot until the beast calms down. (edited)

I'll confess I had to savescum and redo all the patrols bc the final patrol gracklegorse AND plumshine both died and i was NOT having that shit. but guys its ok now :) and now i know to save after every patrol

I switched apprentice graduating to be experience-based now also since otherwise Brokenpaw would graduate Instantly. i might also switch her mentor bc SOMEBODY oughta let the OTHER WARRIORS take on an apprentice once in a while. But that will all be seen next time!

BumbleClan: 30 Moons in

last couple moons have been pretty nice! Hopefully we can keep that streak

Thoughts before the New Moon:

Sunstar idk how many times in the past I've caught you thinking abt changing the Clan's name. it's NOT happening. bumbleheads is too good to let go

Gracklegorse wants to get to know Shenzibat better! She's currently sparring near the warriors den with Stoatstalk and Buzzardpoppy. She must be almost done recovering from having the babies :3

Golddawn is interperting an omen. what u see girl. Featherfoot is also worried others are judging him :(

Howlpaw, desparte for work despite her strain, is put on kit-sitting duty. thankfully the kits are well behaved today, Flowerkit continuing to impatiently bat a pebble around as he awaits his upcoming apprentice ceremony. She's not entirely alone, Brokenspots is there teaching the kits morals until they start to fall asleep.

Squirrelface wants to get to know Quartermoon better! The older molly had just gotten done mediating a discussion between Plumshine and Gracklegorse, while it seemed to have worked out well, the former is currently eavesdropping on the deputy.

From StarClan... Fawnroot is judging Claykit(dude. shes like a week old. chill), Moonthistle wants to warn Mistykit of something and Runnelkit wants to speak to Brokenspots??? gamers. whats going on up there

Outside the Clan, Whisker hopes it isn't too late to join. it;s never too late bestie. lets hunt creechers...Together....

As Fawnroot watches over the Clan, a new moon begins...

Moon 28

Howlpaw's foods all better and Kokichi no longer has a Tummyache! Shenzibat has also recovered from birth!

Meanwhile, however, Mudfur has fleas, It's Quartermoon's turn to twist an ankle, and Mistykiy might have cat asthma.

Despite Brokenspots attempts, Haventail is chosen to mentor Flowerpaw. Almost immediately after they touch noses, he asks the older cat when they will go out to explode the territory, must to her amusement.

Plumshine could spend hours listening to Valentino's voice....eyo? gay cats in here?

After one too many sneak-ins, Squirrelface sits down and takes on the difficult task of scolding Poppykit. The young kit seems to listen to her, though, and no grudge is formed from the conversation, in fact, the two she-cats seem to be closer now!

Valentino has a wonderful disccussion of Clan happenings with Yewpaw and Golddawn :) friendship is in the air. She even has a mock battle with Mistykit! Claykit tries to stand tall when the older kit walks by, victorious from his "battle".

Sibling time. Poppykit thinks Mistykit is very helpful! Her brother thinks she is nice :) she also shares favorite prey with Rainkit!

Yewpaw has been getting along with the warriors well! Having a good laugh after bumping into Brokenspots, and spending a decent amount of time with Featherfoot, however, someone apparently told him a rather ugly rumor about his sister...what the fuck gamers.

Thoughts and In-Camp actions:

Rainkit begs to be taught a few moves by Stoatskip. Stoatskip's 4th apprentice incoming guys

Stoatstalk has the apprentices engaged in an incredibly tall tale. what kinda web u spinning king

After examining the herb supplies and noticing some of the daisy had gone bad, the medicine cats went out and managed to collect ragwort and marigold. Squirrelface was unable to locate any herbs. Haventail is willing to help in anyway she can.

Plumshine was caught sleeping in someone else's nest! fucker

The kits are rather rambunctious today, Rainkit as mentioned above pestering Stoatskip, Mistykit trying to get the truth of where kittens come from from Mudfur and Golddawn while the latter helps the elder with her balance, and Poppykit just generally going around bothering older cats. Claykit, meanwhile, seems to be hatching a solo-plan to sneak out of camp.

Outside the Clans, Razzle bristles at the call of birds, and Whisker is recovering from an illness??? girl whats wrong come home.

From StarClan, Runnelkit is watching over Yewpaw.... WAHHHHH

Bonus: Plumshines got some crushesssss

Patrols:

Despite Flowerpaw wanting to explore on border patrol, first time out of Camp is spent with his mentor taking him to assist Featherfoot and Squirrelface on gathering more herbs. The heat of greenleaf brings warmth to their pelts as Featherfoot wanders aimlessly for daisies to harvest. However, Flowerpaw ends up spending the patrol hunting the animals snacking on the daisies instead, and the group returns unsuccessful in their harvest.

Yewpaw and Howlpaw are finally able to train together! Their mentors take them, while Gracklegorse tagging along to watch their two kits in action. Unfortunately, on the way to the training grounds the group starts to begin an argument, Sunstar isn't even sure about what, but shuts it down and cancels the training plans to instead have the patrol gather nesting material instead.

Stoatstalk leads dawn patrol, taking Valentino and Buzzardpoppy with him. The tom notices some suspicious pawprints on the ground while they pass the canopy- Valentino, eager to prove themself, dashes into action and confronts the source of the prints, another tresspassing rogue. She puffs her fur in a scowl and demands the rogue leave BumbleClan territory. Once the other two show up, the rogue leaves, not wanting to bother dealing with so many cats.

Plumshine takes Shenzibat on a two-cat hunting patrol to show her around the territory. While exploring, the she-cat discovers a rabbit burrow. She quietly waits outside for the owner to peek its head out, and bam-! In a swift pounce the rabbit is in her teeth. Plumshine gives a nod of praise.

Brokenspots accompanies Golddawn in gathering herbs, and asks the senior medicine cat about a dream she had, she saw Runnelkit, but couldn't quite make sense of what they were saying. Golddawn listens intently, and they talk about throughout the entire time they gather oak leaves, by the time they return to camp, the two cats have a decent idea of what was being said.

Stoatskip and Hazelbloom lead the final patrol of the moon. Passing by the same canopy Valentino had spotted a rogue in, checking to make sure the intruder hasn't returned. Unfortunately for the rogue, they had, and the two toms chase them out of BumbleClan territory effortlessly.

Thoughts before the New Moon:

At the Clan gathering, Kokichi and Hazelbloom heckle at a group of HushClan cats together, while on the other side of the clearing, Yewpaw and Plumshine joke about how a OatClan cat smells. Thankfully, none of these moments are overheard from the targeted Clan cats.

Quartermoon is given dandelion for her sprain, which is what results in the medcine cats discovering the rest of the stock went bad. Squirrelface was only able to find some wild garlic, and Golddawn didn't have any luck.

Gracklegorse feels overworked :( Having to cover for his wife already and they're feeling the burden. poor thang. Goldawn worries for the leader.

Patrols:

Kokichi and Haventail take all the apprentices out on a hunting trip. As they spread out to hunt, Howlpaw admits that she had a vision from StarClan the other night, no one can make sense of what it meant, however. It hinders her ability to hunt, but the patrol still brings back a decent amount of food.

Shenzibat accompanies Golddawn and Squirrelface herb gathering. The older medicine cat suggests they gather mullein for Rainkit, now that they're aware of his lung condition, lucky for them there was a decent patch left undisturbed, and everyone gathers a small mouthfull before heading back to camp.

Gracklegorse takes Stoatstalk, Buzzardpoppy, and Brokenspots out to patrol the borders, as they begin to mark border lines, a gang of rogues bursts from the bushes! An ambush! Brokenspots leaps into action to protect her Clanmates, terrifying the rogues with her ferocity. The party turns tail and flees, sorely underestimating the Clan cats.

Final border patrol of the moon is lead by Stoatskip, who takes Hazelbloom, alongside Plumshine and Valentino. As the group checks border lines, a traispe of pawsteps is heard through the territory, they follow the sound to discover a kittypet sniffing around. The cat notices them and brightly says that she's heard of the Clan and wishes to join, the patrol agrees and takes her back to camp.

Thoughts before the New Moon:

Mistykit is the cutest kit in the clan. SO real.

Rainkit wants to be leader so everycat will have to listen to him always. Claykit just wants to have fun. wow. just like the song. girls just wanna have fun

Sunstar eavesdrops on Haventail from the medicin den, watching young Claykit beg the warrior to teach her a few moves. awh

Featherfoot and Sunstar have safely recovered from heat exhaustion! Plus, Mudfur is free of fleas, Quartermoon's sprains' healed, and Plumshine no longer has a headache, the medicine den is empty at last :)

Kokichi wants to spend more time with Poppykit! He goes to Rainkit for advice, the kit is surprised to hear the older warrior ask for help, thinking she had it all figured out. Shenzibat notices her son's helpfulness

Haventail goes on a long walk with Brokenspots after a mock spar with Sunstar.

Newly appointed warrior Howlfoot has a gaggle of kits following her, Poppykit refusing to take her nap and Rainkit secretly hatching a plan to sneak out of camp to play.

Gracklegorse hopes they make a decent leader one day. I would hate to lose Sunstar but I think you'll do fine :3

The medicine cats could not find any herbs the start of this moon. Golddawn interprets a prophecy While Squirrelface watches over her and Featherfoot goes to check on the warriors.

Stoatstalk wonders how Shenzibat is doing, watching the queen try to set a good example for her troublesome kits.

Buzzardpoppy is listening in on a Coversation Hazelbloom is having with another Clanmate, saying he thinks he's the funniest cat around. I think Hazel is right.

From StarClan, Fawnroot is looking to meet with a medicine cat soon, and Moonthistle is curious of Flowerpaw's activites. The poor apprentice is currently deflecting kits questioning where kits come from.

Brokenspots wants to get to know Plumshine better! the cat's thoughts are currently occupied by Poppykit being sillay however.

Outside the Clan, Whisker easily fights off an overconfident rogue. She's survived many moons living this rough life. perhaaaaaaps she should retire and join the clan pspspspsppspspspspsps

Valentino requests a session with Quartermoon and Plumshine, Plumshine doesn't disclose their feelings, but the two manage to get along a little better.

Whiskers feels like she saw Gracklegorse while wandering around, bb come HOME

Patrols:

Plumshine suggests they and Valentino go training together, however, neither cat steps up to teach any new moves. The whole meeting feels awkward and they part ways somewhat irritated. Plumshine how could you fumble the bag like this

Sunstar follows Gracklegorse in border patrol, and the deputy takes their two children and Kokichi with him. As they reach the border lines, a gang of rogues ambushes them from the foliage! The patrol fights them off and manages to not sustain any serious injuries.

Each medicine cat goes on their own separate herb gathering patrol, Golddawn is the first to depart, with Brokenspots keeping her company. One of the worst storms of the season had recently passed, and left Golddawn in a bitter mood. Herbs strewn about, prey in hiding, it would take ages to find anything. Brokenspots splashes water from a puddle onto the older cats fur. The medicine cat fluffs up like a bottlebush, turning aroud to quickly send a wave of water back! They engage in a small water fight, and when the patrol resumes, Brokenspots is pleased to see Golddawn in much better spirits. They manage to gather some daisy and tansy before returning to camp.

Stoatskip and Hazelbloom patrol together. As they reach the border, they discover a patrol from OatClan renewing their scent marks up ahead. The patrols cross paths awkwardly, no one sure of how to break the silence. While no fights break out, the patrols part ways feeling a sense of unease.

Haventail and Flowerpaw assist Featherfoot in the next patrol to gather herbs this moon. With leaf-bare on the horizon, the medicine cat is on the hunt for lungwort, determined to not let BumbleClan run out of their only cure for yellowcough. The three cats search far and wide, till their paws sore and their muscles exhausted, but they fail to find any. The patrol returns to camp disappointed, but Featherfoot is determined to try again, it's too important not to keep a decent supply of.

Squirrelface and Stoatstalk head out the morning after Featherfoot's patrol in search of herbs, hoping to be more successful. While unable to find any lungwort, The two mates find some more thyme for the herbs stores, Stoatstalk offering to carry it while he listens to his mate talk about herbs the walk home.(edited)[7:30 PM]

Shenzibat takes Buzzardpoppy and Pong to the trainging grounds, hoping to be taught some battle techniques by the tom, however, him and Pong get into a dispute about how far battles should go in order to determine a victory. Shenzibat puts her paw down, shutting the two bickering cats up. She doesn't learn much in terms of new moves, but at least she knows she can stop an argument from going too far.

Final Thoughts:

Shenzibat's kits are growing anxious with their upcoming apprentice ceremony. Mistykit wonders who his mentor might be from inside the medicine den, and Rainkit is being scolded by one of the older cats for trying to boss people around again. Meanwhile, poor Poppykit isn't quite ready to grow up yet.

Quartermoon & Hazelbloom eavesdrop on Kokichi & Featherfoot while they eat at the fresh-kill pile. I wonder what they're talking about?
