In the history of Teen Wolf, we have had three total Derek-death fake outs.

It's honestly no secret that Jeff Davis despises Sterek (the concept, the shippers, what it stood for, all of it), but I always felt like he never really liked the popularity Derek got as a character either. Like, it seemed like Jeff liked Derek well enough in the beginning, but as time went on there was always this feeling that Derek was never meant to last past season 2. And if it weren't for the popularity of Sterek, he probably wouldn't have, which explains why the show struggled so much to find things for Derek to do.

But throughout it all, I think Jeff has always seen Stereks as a bunch of roaches he keeps squishing and squishing but keep crawling out from the walls and floorboards.

But the thing about roaches is, they live in your very foundation, Jeff. For every one you see, there is a hundred you don't. And they can suvive any bomb you drop on them. They will persevere through the apocalypse and nuclear winter.

They don't care about your house's market value, or how angry they make you, or whether they eat you out of house and home, or even if there's anyone living there anymore. Once they are here, it is no longer your house anymore. It now belongs to them. And it will continue to belong to them even after you have long since moved out.

And, before you know it, it's all your house will ever be known for. All that you will be known for. In the end, that embarrassing, dirty, little secret you keep trying to pretend isn't there? That will be your legacy, whether you like it or not.

Headcannon confirmed or denied? Wanting to do all his soldiers duties at least once, Dalinar runs bridges. Except he wears socks with the sandals.

Dalinar totally would run a bridge if they continued the bridge running and he had time for that. confirmed™. and the socks + sandals detail is great! very funny Western dad image. 

in my experience, though, he would very quickly lose faith in the socks, especially if they’re loose. socks are great for prolonged walking/running in closed shoes when not wet, but if you’re running a bridge on varying terrains with sandals it’s less great. your feet slip around more, increasing the risk of a twisted or turned ankle, and if they get wet at any point it’s even worse (squishsquishsquishsquishsquish). my experience is relatively limited, though, so if any followers want to chip in their two cents that’d be cool! 

also do Rosharans have socks? atm i have no evidence of them in my research…… hm………
