@genrcsavvy gets an angry goth for Parker

        The thing about leading a life like Gerard's is that terminology like far-fetched loses a bit of its punch at some point.  When looking for patterns in a sprawl of missing persons and mutilated bodies leads him to the tour itinerary of some nü-folksy stagehoppers, and when looking into their lineup leads him to an unimposing ginger with seriously gnarly dentistry - all of the above barely registers as out of the ordinary to him.

        What is a little weirder are the forum posts he’s found on similar subjects.  All silver bullets and fairy-tale tricks.  He doesn't put much stock in that sort of thing (if vampires don’t give a shit about garlic, why should he expect werewolves to shrink from wolfsbane?), but there’s an applique of silver leaf on the knife on his boot anyways.  Which, fortunately, is still a knife even if the silver does nothing.  Ditto to the knuckledusters in his pocket, freshly rubbed down with wolfsbane and mistletoe.  Because, you know, why not. 

        This isn’t necessarily his usual scene, but he's actually been to a show at this bar before.  Different band, completely different vibe, but the layout of the alleyway by the stage door is still the same.  Which is where he’s hanging out when the violinist steps out.

        “What I don’t get,”  he says by way of introduction, dropping his cigarette and stepping on it,  “what I don’t get is the inclusion of Andrew Lloyd Webber on the setlist.  Is that what warms your crowd up, really?”  Bold words from a man in a Timeless Miracle t-shirt, but that’s never stopped him before.
