Why the style doesn´t matter

There are countless music genres out there, and so are countless people with the brain of a two year old, proclaiming their favorite music is the only possibly mentionable best music out there, not being able to even find one argument except "Because I said so, ************".

But why is it that these people can not find any actual reason why it could be like this? Simply because it is not. Music has its greatness in its variety of different genres and possibilities, if there is no style for you (which is quite unlikely since there are about 1264 official different genres today), it is pretty likely that it will be invented quite soon.

Bass House for example, a mixture of house music and dubstep got invented about 2 years ago and now has developed a great fanbase. And I can absolutely tell you that this is not the only genre rising the last few years.

But let´s just go back to the style; in my opinion, the style of music does not matter, but the quality. Mozart might not like modern Dubstep, but there may be some people who like both, good Dubstep and good Classical music. People often use stuff like "this music sounds boring " and "it´s always the same" as an argument, but let me tell you something; music IS repetitive. Always. Every, and I am talking about every single genre, is about repitition of something.

No matter if you´re into Rock or Future House, Metal or Hardstyle, Classic or Trap, Blues or Country Music, Psytrance or any of all of the other genres. Music is repetition, because if it was too complicated, I can tell you, you would not like it. I have tried it. It does not work. But what people don´t realize for some reason is that different sounds can still make a song unique. Melodies can be stolen, can be copied, but if you really find one track using unique sounds, you will not be able to even compare it to other tracks, even from the same genre.

Let me give you an example: Future House

DLMT & RAWD ft. Stevyn – Forbidden Dreams

Kokiri & Dragonette – Faith in Love

Do you get my point? Even if it is not your music it is not necessarily bad, even if it sounds the same for you, that is just because you have not digged into the genre as deep as somebody else.

I experienced stuff like people talking shit about music too often in the last time and I hope that I made my point clear. I am absolutely open to closer discuss anything of this theme (or genre :D), so, what do you think?
