It's a sort of Sci-Fi au inspired by Star-trek/Starwars! @gardenergulfie is the head writer of sorts and the creator of the au! I'm making character designs and @jackie-mae is helping with environments and vehicle designs :D!

villain firestar au pt 2

it’s been a while now and fireclaw has been basically 100% manipulated. tigerclaw has begun to favor fireclaw over the rest of his pals, and they’re staring to notice.

fireclaw is given cinderpaw as his apprentice, and is beginning to try and get her to have the same ideals as tigerclaw and him, but it’s not working with her because of her stubborn and fierce spirit. they’re arguing a lot and have a shaky relationship.

fireclaw is chosen to set the trap for bluestar, but the same incident happens with cinderpaw. startled and feeling guilt for the first time since ravenpaw, he panics and leaves her there to die, and hopes she doesn’t notice him running away.

tigerclaw helps cover up the story. fireclaw is in genuine grieving, and bluestar decides it’s best to get him away from the clans for a bit. 

fireclaw and graystripe go on the quest for windclan, but fireclaw refuses to help- he thinks that if windclan was too weak to defend themselves, they shouldn’t be allowed back. graystripe doesn’t agree, of course. and they keep on arguing the whole way.

to spite graystripe, fireclaw keeps leading them off the scent trail, trying to prolong the journey as much as possible to try and keep from saving the “weaklings”. 

when they do arrive to windclan(graystripe finds the scent trail before fire can hide it), it’s much smaller because more cats have died in the time they spent arguing and leading eachother astray. 

they bring home what little remains of windclan. they’re allowed their territory back, but fireclaw, tigerclaw, and the rest of tigerclaw’s brigade are disapproving and think it’s ridiclous to let such a small group of cats get that large of a territory. 

graystripe meets silverstream on patrol just like in canon, and fireclaw becomes suspicious of gray’s disappearances. he’s angry that while his own apprentice is dead, graystripe is happily neglecting his. fireclaw is too disgusted to investigate, and takes over mentoring duties for bracken unofficially, but his anger shows through constantly, and brackenpaw begins to follow in fireclaw’s pawsteps because of his influence. +1 to the tigerclaw brigade.

fireclaw doesn’t help with feeding riverclan- graystripe does this alone, and isn’t caught. 

eventually, graystripe and silverstream are found out- while silverstream is giving birth. fireclaw finds them, and graystripe pleads for him to fetch yellowfang. fireclaw is disgusted, and decides this is the punishment graystripe should be given. while gray panics and begs and pleads, fireclaw stands there with an expressionless face and stands by as silverstream dies slowly. she has four kits, all alive but most of them very weak. 

fireclaw starts to kill them, because they’ll CLEARLY never make good warriors AND they’re halfclan. 

graystripe is outraged and attacks him just before he can finish off the last two. 

graystripe and fireclaw finally stop fighting, and fireclaw says “you should just accept your punishment for breaking the code. disgraceful.” graystripe is outraged that fire feels no remorse, and claws him across the face. hard. 

the scar is the sign from starclan that fireclaw has made his choice- he can never go back and never repent. his dark path has been set in stone and he cannot ever walk off it now. 

graystripe flees to riverclan with his two kits, crying all the way. fireclaw knows the tom may be angry, but he now also fears fireclaw, and will not say a word as he knows it jeopardizes him and his two remaining kits.
