Conflict

As Horikawa made his usual patrol around his District, he caught sight of a sneaking figure making a beeline through the shadows of a narrow alleyway. Taking to the rooftops as he ambled across sensitive tiles, he predicted the target’s movements and was able to jump down, landing in their pathway as clear azure hues bore into their own surprised ones.  Not apart of the Time Retrograde Army... However, seeing a glint of metal in their hand at his interjection, it was clear that this was no ordinary denizen. 

“State your business.” He would still allow no one with harmful intentions to get past him this night.

          “Who let the dogs out, yo??” Out of prison. Tetsuya may not have been there for it all....... but Doctor Gara was a well known and dangerous criminal that was all over television when he and Asmodai were competing in L.A. He knew he was already here since the last time he appeared, the villain did a number on Tasuku’s eye but this was the first time the two were meeting face to face. It was kind of scary.

          “E-easy buddy, I was just joshin’ ya! No need to look so uptight!” Tetsuya shot a double finger gun and a wink. Uh-oh. That only made him more irritated.....!!!! Think of something!!

Richter stops, does that kid have a lollipop? He shouldn't mind, but it reminds him of someone. Ah yes, he just recently had a discussion with Noboru about them actually. What was his name? Ah yes, Sora. The kid that went and wasted a lollipop just to put another one in his mouth. Oh he hopes this kid wasn't going to be the same, especially since he almost just ran into the kid.

He'd dodged by stopping, and was examining the kid. He puts a hand on the hilt of his wooden sword, the other staying hanging by his side. Green eyes examining the kid fully now, before landing on the others eyes. Well, hair actually. What a strange way to style hair, especially for what looked like a kid? What was he having, some sort of identity crisis?

"Listen kid, one, watch where it is you're standing. I almost ran into you. Second, make sure you actually finish that lollipop. Third, I don't know what kind of statement you are trying to make, but probably shouldn't go walking around in an outfit like that with hair like that. You look like you're 'cosplaying'. I've heard that term around here before."

Uninvited Savior

Kanata’s stay within District Delta was going somewhat smoothly, creating a semblance of normalcy within his daily schedule. Even though the city itself was somewhat chaotic and filled with all sorts of colorful characters, he could at least proceed as usual for sanity’s sake.

And today, Kanata was going to start by finding a public bathhouse. Given that the Delta living situation was rather lacking in the personal appliance department, he figured that finding the nearest public facility would be his best bet. After all, Kanata felt bad about his Buddy’s constant complaint...

“Uuuu... Kanata, I can’t wait to take a bath! My mane is going to start getting matted soon if you don’t wash it...”

“I know. It’s kind of inconvenient not having a bathtub or shower at home.. but don’t worry, we’ll find something. I promise.”

“Kanata~! ❤”

Chuckling at Athora’s pleased squeal, Kanata was oblivious again to the surroundings around him, a masked figure having been shadowing him for a few blocks now as he finally reached out to snag his thin arm.

“Don’t even think of struggling! Give me everything you have on you, kid! Or else!”

“...!”

“Kanata?!”

Having already used up his 10 minute time limit earlier in the day, Athora was entirely unable to materialize himself to save his immobile Buddy, Kanata watching with widened eyes as his well-being was in the mercy of this demanding thug...
