Fashion furries are everything, I LOVE artists coming up with clever, practical, and beautiful fashion pieces for these fictional creatures. I love seeing them make all the crazy colours and patterns of the OCs work with stylish steetwear and techwear and sportwear, it's all so good!! 💖

Modern Simpsons is insane, because they are literally doing a steetwear episode. A Bart got knockoff knockoff Surpreme shoes and now the family is in clothes from an expensive skatewear brand. Bart becomes a TikTok dance. (They need to let these kids age a year)

I just finished a season 2 episode where Bart wants $100 for a comic book and works his butt off for weeks to only get 50 cents, and eventually get $35 together. But in season 33, Homer at least does intend to do something nice for Bart and buy the shoes, the super nice, and mostly went with the knockoffs to avoid waiting in line. (I'm not complaining, it feels true to the id driven nature of Homer and I'm with it.)

I just can't get my head around watching a streetwear episode. He says something like, "I finally really why people own different outfits.I don't feel like the image above is a joke, I feel like Ryan (writer) and the people who did the character designs for this episode like the idea of dressing up the middle aged men of Springfield in the kinds of clothes that only someone very online and very living in LA can possibly find cool ( Dare I call them hipsters?)

I have reach the point in my re-watch where the Simpson family is cooler and more hip and with it and I don't have the advantage of being in the future over them anymore. It's an interesting phenomenon

NOTE: I get that it's lame. I get the joke that them wearing it is what ruins it. That doesn't mean I don't think that there is a level of self awareness going on here.

Come with me down this mind path. You have to be lame enough to somewhat be keeping track of what the divorced dads are up to, agree that they look cool, but in the wrong way. Sure, it's a story mostly about Bart, but Homer discovering fashion and really enjoying it comes from to real of a place to not be something people on the creative side empathizing with it. (I do not think this paragraph made sense but it must be finished.)
