not arguing that gels do not lack the many pros of acrylics but like they are more expensive than normal paint cause they last much longer. you probably already know this but like. just in case you like literally think you paid for paint. gel is a little more elite. but still not acrylics. sorry for the series of events :(

i do know that they last longer! my nail tech was trying to reassure me and she was like 'these ones can last up to 3 weeks!!!!' and i was like girl i dont even want them for 3 DAYS 😭 pure shambles

#i hashed out my paycheck with my manager and while he still underpaid me the weeks have changed #so it's not as severe as i thought which is mainly a good thing bc i dont WANT to be underpaid no one wants that #but also it meant i was expecting a load of money into my account today and i got like. half what i expected #so ive written off getting my nails done this time around which. even though im saving £25 NOT getting acrylics after all this #still somehow feels worse bc spending £22 on these stupid fucking gels then £25 on acrylics at least would mean i have something #to show for it and did ultimately get what i wanted. but now ive got nothing and im down £22 #and im like. not being brave about it at all lmao. but we move!#ask
