Lilli’s face still brightens at the confirmation that the vampire liked the stuff she got him. She even let out a low chuckle at the sight of Edwin giving the plushy a squeeze, before she found herself freezing for a second as he hugged her next. It didn’t took to long though for her to wrap her arms around Edwin to return the hug.

Oh? He got her something too? Should she be surprised?

“ Zhank you! But you really didn’t needed to get me something- “

The woman spoke, and stopped abruptly as he pulled out the jewelry box, and handed it to her. And her face immediately flushed again. Okay, okay, okay. It’s not THAT. He isn’t doing THAT. Lilli stares at the box for a moment, until a smirk appeared on her face again, and she glances at the man

“ It’s a bit early to propose, isn’t it~? “

Of course she was simply joking. And that became even more obvious as she starts to laugh lowly again.

And of course she immediately went to open the box, and look what’s inside.

You awoke underneath a sheet covering you from head to toe- and found yourself lying on a wooden floor

you slowly sat upright removing the sheet from your face, you turned to look around, to find a very small room you were sat next to an unlit fireplace it felt rather claustrophobic here however it did somewhat look slightly cozy, the design of the building was old which gave a strange historical vibe to it, but something felt off...

Once you regained your lucidness fully you noticed you were soaked dripping with seawater and little bits of seaweed which gave your clothes a very unpleasant sticky texture, on top of that you were very cold.

The sound of harsh winds could be heard howling outside the building putting pressure on the windows and the front door.

You heard the sound of footsteps echoing throughout the building getting closer and closer to your location

You then saw a woman swiftly walk past you and walk towards the front door, rattling something metallic sounding in her pocket

She slowly turns

and notices you.

She looked at you as if you did something really strange, her brows narrowed

but what could you have done to warrant this reaction? If anything, you should be looking at her that way, you just woke up in a strange place it's not like you did that on purpose, she should know what’s going on surely?

"Oh...uh... that's unexpected," she said calmly

she smiled a toothy grin as she took a step towards you studying you with her eyes.

"…. we thought you were dead?" she raised one eyebrow.

She put both her hands in her pockets as she took another step toward you 

“Clearly not~,”  She said as she leaned in slightly.

Another typical night at the bar. Bill didn’t mind that though, he was here for the social interaction, and potentially some blood later.

His fingertips were starting to turn blue again. Thankfully, he had some gloves on. An interesting smell brought him out of his thoughts, and that caused him to turn his attention to the new patron that walked in. He smiled.

“Well, beyond that nasty cut from our spar?”  Quietly, as she spoke, she was currently nursing a bandaged arm wound the other had helped cover up.  Ice already started to form about the edges of white tape; being nothing more than a safety mechanism from the spilt blood.  If she hadn’t been moving her fingers?  She’d be pretty numb from its crisp chills.  “I’d say.. I’ve been through much worse than this.”

Letting out a soft sigh, she shrugged her shoulders in reply.  “Still, it’s nothing to cry over.  Ya got me fair and square.”  She said.  “I’m surprised ya didn’t cut deeper back there though.  I was kinda lost there for a good moment.”

      Hmmm? Someone’s comin this way? So late too, geez. Then again, what the fuck is she on about. She’s literally out here just chillin’ for no real reason. Smiling wide, she decided to go ahead and wait. It seemed like they will continue this way anyway, so why not wait and have a biiit of fun! She wrapped her tail around the branch she was sitting on, crossing her legs as she listens to his foot steps. Once he was close enough, she immediately swooshed down and hanged right in front of him with a huge smile on her face. Her shades cocked a bit so he would slightly see her eyes too.

The young adult found himself at very familiar black gates, pressing an intercome button. “Heeeeeeeeeeyoooo~” was the high pitched greeting he gave and on the other end it crackled to life with a “Oh hello Perkins, give me a second...” The gates opened very slowly in front of him after a few minutes and without hesitation he went in. Hand quickly turning the doorknob as if he’d been here before many, many times.

He gave a wave of the hand over to the familiar face of Reed “Eyo! How are you doing today Reed? Cuz I’m feeling FAAAAAAAANTastic! Well, anythings fantastic after that whole trial business! Misha is super scary...BUT thankfully she had a heart after all in the court case.”

“I was thinkin’ I’d be dead for sure. like...even if we succeed just like, a little deader. THEN AGAIN she has a piece of my soul with how vicious she can be--”

      “You’re fine, honestly..It’s rare, but we do get late night customers from time to time. I assume you’re stressed out from work..” Ah, but he shouldn’t pry too far into this. Orca gestures for the other to take a seat anywhere. “I’ll be right with you as soon as I finish cleaning up..Otherwise, there are toys and treats you can use for the cats. The kittens are especially active at the moment..”

The mage quickly texted back, and immediately made her way through the shadows to Edwin’s home. After she had arrived at the front door though... she hesitated before ringing the bell. Now Lilli felt somehow... nervous? It’s probably because of that Percy had told her. Has his friend told him already that they had talked? It wouldn’t surprise her given that Percy seemed like... quite the gossip.

The woman then let out a low sigh, before finally ringing his doorbell. There is no need to feel nervous. Edwin had already texted her back so that’s a good sign! ... Right? When the vampire then opened the door, Lilli immediately smiled at him, and gave a wave as greeting. Her nervousness couldn’t be anywhere seen in her face, she just could feel that her heart was beating a bit faster than usual.
