On 19/5, a metal frame caught fire on the sports ground of Lau Wing Sang Secondary School in Chai Wan. No one was injured. It is suspended that someone may have lit charcoal for a barbecue and left it inside the metal frame without fully extinguishing it, which caused the fire. After the fire was put out, the exterior wall of a nearby building was blackened by smoke. 🔥👩🏻🚒Please enhance fire safety standards to prevent accidents.🙏🏻
Yesterday (8/5), a bone-setting clinic in Tseung Kwan O suddenly caught fire. 🧑⚕️The staff quickly used a small fire extinguisher to put out the fire, but unfortunately, the extinguisher malfunctioned. 🧯Eventually, the sprinkler system inside the shop was triggered by the smoke, and the fire was extinguished. 🚒The fire caused injuries to 2 people. To ensure that the extinguisher is in good working condition, it needs to undergo an annual inspection and maintenance.

A kitchen fire broke out on 10/4 in a restaurant on Nam Sheng Street in Tai Po. 3 fire trucks were dispatched and firefighters extinguished the fire.🚒 No evacuation was necessary and no one was injured. It is suspected that the oven in the restaurant caught fire.👨🏻🚒 Please take action now to enhance fire safety.🔥
Emergency responders were dispatched to a possible structure fire just after 7:00 pm on the 300 block of Cranes Creek Road.
The first arriving fire unit reported flames showing with a working structure fire.
Even though the fire was quickly brought under control the mobile home suffered extensive damage.
The home was reportedly unoccupied with no power connected to the residence.
Officials with the Moore County Fire Marshals Office in conjuction with Detectives from the Moore County Sheriff's Office are on scene as of this report working to try to determine a cause for tonight's fire.
One lane of Cranes Creek Road was closed to traffic due to the many emergency vehicles on the scene.
Responding were units with Cypress Pointe Fire & Rescue, Carthage Fire & Rescue, Whispering Pines Fire Rescue, Moore County EMS, Moore County Sheriff's Office and Moore County Fire Marshals Office.
(Update: We stayed in contact with investigators into the early morning hours Sunday about this fire. As of now they have not made a determination on the cause of last night's fire. The incident remains under investigation)
