Already !? Time sure does fly fast!

Today I have finished the project!!! And tomorrow I am defending it (why do I have to defend her… Why are you attacking her 😭) I am also back home… I have been to my friends house admittedly for FAR TOO LONG… Here is her eldery cat keeping me company! I love her tons and I already miss her 🥺... Tomorrow is going to be hell of a day, the day after tomorrow too… When do I get to rest?! Aaaaaaaaaaaa! 😆

A friend told me that cats really do mirror behaviour so putting an old laptop out would stop my cat trying to use mine while I’m working on my dissertation

It’s amazing how quickly it became her desk after I started!

...so I didn't do anything for my thesis the past 2 days (or today), but I embroidered this shirt as a the locked tomb inspired costume! (also dyed my hair red) I'm really happy with how it turned out!! (nayla wasn't very helpful but she looks cute)

spent most of the day at the desk and still only managed to read 1 text today, but as you can see, I have 2 very good reasons for that (hands occupied bc cats demanded cuddles)

emotionally supported by: kitten cuddles and my friends complimenting me on my dyed hair

evening plans for mental stability: working on my costume and hanging out with S (beloved)

(04.10.2021) || well, I officially missed my first deadline in grad school. Something I think we don’t talk enough about in an academic setting is how human and normal it is to occasionally forget things; it doesn’t make you a bad person or a bad student if you forget to show up to something or turn something in. It’s definitely a reality o struggle with as a student, employee, TA, and human. Don’t spend too much time thinking about perceived failures or beating yourself up and promising to do better next time. There is nothing inherently bad or wrong with stumbling.
