Remember how it took the last game’s penultimate DLC to show (1) female turian? A race where, unlike say the krogan or salarians, males and females are roughly equal in number and can occupy any position in society. We went to freaking turian space during a mandatory plot mission, right near their homeworld, and still no women

Whilst in ME2 it was decided it would just be too damn weird for there to be no male quarians on the Flotilla for that one (optional) mission. Yes, there were still budget, time and game memory constraints, but can you just imagine? A race of aliens that ostensibly has males and females but we only ever see the females? Madness!
