EXCLUSIVE: Sanjay Puran Singh Chauhan will direct Akshay Kumar's Tirangaa, which is slated to go on floors by the end of 2024.

Last month, Bollywood Hungama exclusively reported that Akshay Kumar's Tirangaa is not a replica of the same-titled 1993 film starring Nana Patekar and Raaj Kumar. Bollywood Hungama has reported that the film will be directed by Sanjay Puran Singh Chauhan.

According to a source, "The film's producers - Ashvin Varde, Subhash Kale, and Narendra Hirawat - along with Akshay Kumar realized that Sanjay Puran Singh Chauhan would be an appropriate candidate to handle a picture like this and give it the essential commercial approach. This is how the renowned director came on board."

According to the source, "Tirangaa is expected to go on floors by December 2024."

Sanjay Puran Singh Chauhan previously directed the films Lahore (2010) and 72 Hoorain (2023), both of which won national awards. He was also one of the authors for Ranveer Singh's cricket drama '83 (2021).

Sanjay and Akshay were close to working together on a film called Gorkha. It was to be produced by Aanand L Rai, but after the announcement, it was abandoned. In January 2023, Aanand L Rai told Bollywood Hungama, "Yes, that is correct. We are not making this film right now. There are technical issues. There are factual clarifications that must be made.

Sanjay Puran Singh Chauhan also planned to develop Chandamama Door Ke, a space film starring the late Sushant Singh Rajput.

On August 10, Narendra Hirawat denied that Tirangaa is a remake of the original film of the same name. He told Bollywood Hungama, "In recent days, there have been a few media stories suggesting that we are creating a remake of the film Tirangaa with Shri Akshay Kumar in the lead. We would want to state unequivocally that this report is false. Yes, we are creating a film with Shri Akshay Kumar in the lead, however we want to make it clear that it is NOT a remake of any film. It's a whole new and original script. An official announcement about this will be made soon."

"Karma" is a 1986 action film directed by Subhash Ghai, featuring an ensemble cast including Dilip Kumar, Nutan, Naseeruddin Shah, Jackie Shroff, Anil Kapoor, Poonam Dhillon, Sridevi, Dara Singh, and Anupam Kher. The songs were composed by Laxmikant-Pyarelal and written by Anand Bakshi.

The Bench comprising Hon’ble Mr. Justice Saumitra Dayal Singh J and Hon’ble Mr. Justice Rajendra Kumar IV J closed on 12.10.2023 the proceedings initiated by the Additional Principal Judge Family Court Aligarh-1, as the apology tendered by the contemnors were not found to be genuine and hearing them further would waste the time of the meaty litigants.

Facts giving rise to Contempt Petition

Allegation against the Litigant Subhash Kumar is that he misbehaved with the Additional Principal Judge Family Court on 09.05.2022 while hearing of another case was going on. As his case was not called off, he started shouting when he was asked to wait he continued misbehaving with the Court giving rise to Contempt proceedings.

Allegation against the Advocate son is that he continued unruly and loud behavior and threatened the court by seeking transfer of proceedings. On being required to act in a civilized manner, he refused to abide by the advice.

Shubham Kumar- Advocate shouted saying he is a practitioner of the Allahabad High Court and he knows how to deal with petty courts & threatened to lodge a complaint against the Presiding Officer.

During hearing of the contempt proceedings Allahabad High Court asked the contemnors Father & Son are they seeking forgiveness?

Both answered yes.

When asked for what?

They answered “humney jo kara nahi”

Litigant-father Subhash Kumar even denied the occurrence.

Subhash Kumar in the post lunch session filed an application on 09.05.2022 @3pm for hearing of his case & @ 3.30pm his advocate son filed another application for hearing of his case. This is mentioned on the order sheet of their case by the Additional Principal Judge.

Observation of the Court

Any grievance that any litigant or lawyer may have may be addressed in due course. Any order that may be passed by a court to which any lawyer or litigant may have a grievance may be addressed by filing appropriate application or appeal or by making appropriate mention at the appropriate time.

What is more disastrous is that a son (lawyer) appearing for his father (litigant) that too in a matrimonial case with his mother. It cannot be for Courts to advise lawyers to choose their clients. It has always been left to the wisdom of the learned members of the bar.

The basic learning that any member of the bar imbibes at the initial years of practice is to tell him to not appear for his blood relatives. However, this wisdom and nuance has not touched Subham Kumar by a mile. He not only took up the matter of his father but that too against his mother, by his act, he became a party to the dispute itself.

It indeed would be sad if statutory law were to provide for restrains on who’s brief to take and who’s not. Yet, the father - son duo before us would appear to take no less. Thats the tragic part of this case.

We find that the present case is not a case that the Court may have the luxury to deal with, in the present state of its overburdened board.

To voice our opinion differently, we may note that in a matter such as this where the lawyer and the litigant both claimed (though not convincingly), utmost regard for the Court but their behavior and conduct is found wholly unacceptable and objectionable, we say, enough time has been wasted over those who are already wasted.

We do not have time to take our gaze away from the cause of justice and to devote the same to punish the contemnors as per the rules of law.

Our time would be better utilized and is needed to address the cry for justice by genuine litigants. It does not merit to be wasted on the jesters and/or deviant lawyer and litigant that these contemnors are. They are far too less deserving of that. Thus, such contemnors may sometimes waste Courts' time yet, they may be allowed to get away, in the interest of the other, genuine litigants and meaty matters.

We refused to exercise our jurisdiction and have not absolved either Subhash Kumar and Shubham Kumar of their conduct.

It is only on account of wastage of time that we seek to prevent, we choose not to give them any further audience. They are thoroughly undeserving of that. Thus consigned.

(News18 Hindi) Dushyant Kumar Singh’s journey to success began when he met agricultural expert Subhash Palekar at a camp in Bengaluru. He now grows two main varieties of paddy — Kala Namak Kiran and Manavya Manila Irrigated Paddy-1 A young farmer from Balia, Uttar Pradesh has demonstrated the impact of expert advice on achieving success in agriculture. After completing his B.Tech, he left his job to pursue farming. He sought guidance from agricultural expert Subhash Palekar, and started farming. He is now making profits in lakhs. His success story is truly an inspiration for other farmers. Dushyant Kumar Singh, from Basantpur village in Ballia district, told News18 that he completed his B.Tech in 2017. After working in a private job in Bengaluru for a year, he felt unsatisfied and decided to return to his village to focus on farming. Dushyant Kumar Singh’s journey to success began when he met agricultural expert Subhash Palekar at a camp in Bengaluru. Inspired by Palekar’s advice, he ventured into farming, implementing his suggestions. His hard work paid off, and he soon became a prominent farmer in Uttar Pradesh. Dushyant said that he grows two main varieties of paddy: Kala Namak Kiran and Manavya Manila Irrigated Paddy-1. The specialty feature of Manila paddy is its lower irrigation requirement, yielding 55 to 60 quintals per hectare. This year, for the first time, he has cultivated Manila paddy on four bighas, while Kala Namak Kiran has been planted on 65 bighas. Dushyant has been growing Kala Namak for the past four years, earning him a strong reputation and high demand for his produce. Dushyant stated that he practises completely natural farming keeping health in mind. He also engages in animal husbandry, which allows him to produce organic manure. This organic manure not only boosts his farming success but also contributes to his profits. He mentioned that he has cultivated Kala Namak Kiran paddy on 65 bighas this year. The cost of cultivating one bigha is approximately Rs 4,000 to 5,000, while the profit per bigha is around Rs 60,000. The Rise of Marathi and Gujarati Actors in Bollywood

You must have seen a large number of actors from various cultural origins playing a variety of parts in multiple Bollywood movies. Background of the case

An FIR u/s 295A IPC was initially lodged against the applicant by Vivek Bhardwaj, Ex[1]C Chairman, Vyapaar Mandal Mehatpur Basdehda and Subhash Arey, President, Vyapaar Mandal Mehatpur Basdehda. Stating that the applicant who is an Opthalmologist had posted derogatory comments, on facebook, against Bhagwaan Bhole Shankar and Shivling. He is habitual of posting derogatory posts on his facebook account and his act has outraged the religious feelings.

Later Sections 153A and 505 (2) IPC were also added.

During the process of investigation, the police took out the print out of the screen shots of the comments one such screen shot shows an Ox licking the Shivling,

“Are par wahan mila kya murkhon ye to bata do apne bachchon ko. Bata do baba nahin babaji ka mil gaya. Jab ye bachche kabhi bahar jayenge to inhi ke dost inka mazaak udayenge ki tumhare desh mein to ling is king. Saari duniya mein ye nautnki karke bhartiyo ko hansi ka patra bana diya. Dharm ki kuch baatein dabi chupi rehti hain wahin achcha hai. Ye saari nautanki se sari duniya ab hum par hansegi.”.

Resentments amongst the locals was soaring high in Mehatpur Bazar Una Bazar. Rally was organized and effigy was burnt of the applicant.

The Court seeing the status report directed the police to release him on bail in the event of his arrest. And as per the direction of the Court the applicant was released on bail.

His mobile phone was taken into possession and was sent for analysis to RFSL Dharamshala.

Observation of the Cyber Cell

On 23rd June, 2023 C. Ajay Kumar, had submitted the printout of the screenshot of the mobile.

In the Google History of the mobile of the applicant it was found that the applicant has searched as to how to delete the facebook history from mobile and how to modify screenshot of facebook comments.

A request was made by the investigating agency to the organizer of Meta Platform, vide letter, dated 19th June, 2023, to provide the registration details of facebook ID of the applicant, registration details of mobile number with facebook account, as well as, IP details of the alleged facebook ID.

Case of the police

The act of the applicant, has insulted the religious feelings, there is a lot of resentment in the area and against the said facebook post, there are demonstrations.

In case, the interim order is made absolute, the people of the locality may indulge in aggressive demonstrations and it may also result in ethnic disputes. The applicant is very influential and clever person and in case, interim order is made absolute, he may coerce the witnesses and allure them not to depose against him.

The State has prayed for the dismissal of the bail application of the applicant Nadeem Akhtar.

Observation of the Court

No doubt the applicant is participating in the investigation but what he has posted/commented on his FB account are derogatory and has hurt the religious sentiments of a particular section of society.

The applicant is not a layman, but, an educated person, who is well aware about the effect of his alleged post and comments.

We are living in a society and it is the duty of the people of other religion to give due respect to the religious belief of other members of the society.

The applicant has not made any compliant to the police when his FB account was hacked.

The applicant is having status in the society and, as such, he carries more responsibility.

He ought to have exercised more caution before allegedly making the comments or putting post on his Facebook account.

The social media has been used by the applicant for hurting the religious the social media has been used by the applicant for hurting the religious.

The police have also expressed apprehensions, in case, the interim bail order is made absolute.

Apprehensions are not unfounded.

Allowing the bail application, in this case, will also give a wrong signal to the society and it will encourage other persons to make such type of comments, allegedly causing resentment in the minds of followers of the other religions, which is also not good for the secular fabric of the country.

Decision

Considering the facts and the consequence of the offences, committed by the applicant, the Hon’ble Court dismissed the bail application of the applicant.

9th Edition of Athleema Left Great Memories for All Time

New Delhi: Asian Business School part of Asian Education Group held its 9th annual sports meet, ATHLEEMA 2022 from 19th-21st April 2022 at Jasola Sports Complex, New Delhi with great enthusiasm and glory, much accentuated by the glorious presence of the legend, The Great Khali as the chief guest for the occasion.

A total of 50 top colleges of Delhi NCR participated in this mega inter-college sports meet. The inaugural function on 19th April 2022 began with the auspicious torch-lighting ceremony, ignited by the chief guest, The Great Khali; Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President-AEG; and Directors AEG, Dr. Lalitya Vir Srivastava, Saurabh Sharma and Gurdeep Singh Raina.
