Celebrating 10k Subscribers on youtube with a new Icon, Thank you all Kindly. This was rather inspired by AiraSora who asked if iv ever done a disney edit with my type of makeup on before and i thought id give it a go.

So, I'm openly admitting that yes, my AiraSora youtube channel is subscribed to my Ayla Sky youtube channel. I've done this to have an easy way of seeing how things look on my channel from a subscriber's point of view.

And today, for the first time in the 2 years I've had the Ayla Sky channel... a video has NOT shown up on my AiraSora feed. I legit can't find the video I've screenshot from above. It's NOT on my subscriptions list.

Until now, I legit thought that I had somehow evaded youtube's infamous "you won't see all the videos from channels you've subscribed to". I have not.

And now I'm paranoid about all the videos I've potentially missed -.-

And to make it worse? I have the notification bell on. I've gotten no notifications either.

Fuck you, YouTube. Maybe instead of forcing arbitrary guidelines down your creators' throats, maybe you should fix whatever programming code that's making your subscription feed so unreliable.

So I checked YouTube this morning....

I had a subscriber, which is unusual cause I have like maybe 2 videos on YouTube both unlisted cause they were college projects. I checked to see who it was, and it was wasabikat. This caused my skin to crawl, so I checked their channel and they had recently subscribed to a TON of editors but not just any editors. Almost all the editors they subscribed to have called them out on their B.S. on Airasora's video in the infoumous "just leave" thread or else where. Now I am no editor, but I do love and appreciate all the hard work real editors do so I tend to keep an eye on known theifs. Commenting how videos are stolen when I can, citing who the actual video owner is, and letting others know as well. So I'm highly suspicious about this. It just does not settle with me well. I'd be suspicious before but subscribing to me, a non editing or active channel, is just a screaming red flag. I don't know what wasabikat is up to but I don't trust them a bit.

Interesting. I’m actually subscribed to this person :O I can’t unfortunately help you guys understand what izamun means with what is “wrong” with your blog or whatever to call it, your blog in general matches what I personally expected when you guys first contacted me so I hope izamun will be willing to explain further what they mean. The (non)Disney editing community is after all a generally kind place to be :)

I will understand if izamun dosen’t wish to explain themselves further as they are not required too, it would however, be nice to have some understanding so something like this can be avoided in the future. 

Honestly...I really needed this, I’d been feeling a little discouraged over a ton of other things lately but you have managed to put me in such a good mood now, thank you Aira!

I am ALMOST at 1k subscribers on my Ayla Sky channel and I want to celebrate by doing... something.

Yeah, that’s what I need help with. I know some of you are probably pretty sick of seeing my other channel show up here on AiraSora every now and then, and I fully understand that, but I hope those of you who feel that way can also understand that I am obviously going to take advantage of having a bigger audience here, so I can easier ask for opinions, suggestions and so forth x3

So... anything you guys think would be cool to do to celebrate 1k subs on my other channel? Remember that my other channel isn’t about crossovers, so anything crossover-related isn’t going to fit that channel Cx
