in a similar vein, after my solitaire obsession came my sudoku obsession wherein i completed over 200-ish sudoku squares in the time span of maybe 2 months? and that was just on the sudoku app. i also got a fat chunky solitaire book and would lay in my bed solving them until like 2am. i didn’t touch my phone once, it was so refreshing. i would whizz through like 15 an evening i fucking loved those things bro. sudoku squares were like crack to me, genuinely id get a high sorta feeling when i finished one and id immediately go do another. often times i had to force myself to stop doing sudoku because i was falling behind in class

i remember a period of time where i was absolutely obsessed with solitaire. i played like 30 games every evening on solitaired.com and id get a bunch of trophies and beat my fastest scores (i was so proud of winning 300 games in april 2023 and my fastest time being like under a minute) and i got SO obsessed that i started playing solitaire in my dreams, like FULL ON games. AND i started DAYDREAMING about solitaire, and it was all in my head. MY BRAIN JJSY GAVE ME RANDOM CARDS AND ID SOLVE IT????? that went on for about a year. and now i do not like solitaire as much and my skills have depleted drastically
