EPISODE ONE : Cookie crumble

Garnet makes her gauntlet's vanish from her hands and she turns to the others, mostly addressing Pearl and Amethyst. "The queen must be nearby." Steven lets the trio speak while he walked back up to his freezer and lifted it up, and slowly moved it over to the kitchen, placing it down on a spot near the fridge and plugging it in. He sighed and slowly went over to the fridge, opening the freezer as his eyes then widen in shock. He rubs them, trying to see if he was seeing everything correctly. He realizes he's gazing upon a whole stash of cookie cats. He turns to the group as he grabs one and opens it. "What the hay? I thought they stopped making them!" Pearl smiles at Steven and walks toward the Kitchen, holding her arms behind her back gracefully. "They did! So we--" Amethyst buds in, mid sentence as she interrupted Pearl. "We went out and stole a bunch!" Pearl grunts and moves her arms to cross them. "I went out and paid for them." "OHHHH!!!" Steven inhaled as he began to sing in excitement, "He's a frozen treat with an all new taste! Because he came from a planet from outerspace! He's the treat for your tummy! Cookie cat! he left his family behind! COOKIE CAAAAT!" Garnet, Pearl, and Amethyst all clap as he finishes singing. Steven brings the treat up to his mouth as he sits up on the counter, biting into the ears of the cookie cat. "I like to eat the ears first!" He smiles as he chews, looking to the others. As the warm happiness briefly engulfs him, he realizes his belly is glowing; mainly his gem. He panics, realizing that it was in fact his gem! Garnet, Pearl and Amethyst begin to panic, not thinking this would happen so soon. "Quick! Draw your weapon!" Garnet shouts. But the pressure is too much for Steven and his gem eventually stops glowing. This disappoints Steven, and Amethyst comforts him by patting his back. "Heyyy, it'll be okay, man! Maybe next time?" Steven frowns and looks down as he lowers his arms, watching as the gems left the kitchen. He can faintly hear them talk about what happened and it only makes him feel worse. He'd walk out the beach after putting the cookie cat back in his fridge, sitting in the sand as he drew a cat in the sand. He looked at the ocean and then down to his shirt, lifting it up with his left hand as he stared down at his gem. Why couldn't he summon his weapon like the others? He burried his face in his hands.

((So basically, Pearl's lasers, her human swords kept in her gem, and her anger were enough to break down the door and get Steven out. After Peri took him farther away for safety, Pearl and Lapis sorta- went ham. -Andi))

Just because I don’t have any intentions of giving Zoey a date doesn’t mean that everyone else has to do the same. You can write, draw and conceptualize anything you want. (Within moral reason)

I want people to play around with single dad, make their own stories and character arcs. My version isn’t the ‘end all be all’ it’s just a template I want others to use!
