Beautiful view of the sky colors. Unfortunately what we also see is the massive construction outside the East Gate. So sad how many trees they cut down. • I am grateful we are leaving next Tuesday. That’s the first day (and until further notice) that they are shutting down the East Gate. It’ll be open only from 0600-0800 for morning traffic. So to everyone that will still be here and live off base...good luck. Recent topic...military life. This is the most I’ve seen people separate from the military. Granted, some people should get out, the lifestyle isn’t for everyone, and we all have our own dreams. But for those who are ready to quit just because they dislike their unit or leadership, hey! Not every unit is the same, every leader leads differently. Maybe you just need a fresh start at a new location with different people. 🌺 You’ll know when it’s time. If you ever ask me if you should stay in or get out of the military I’ll tell you it’s your decision. But I’ll sit there with you and discuss pros and cons to your decision. Today is my last actual day working at the 86th SFS! So many ups and downs and left and rights that there’s too much to explain. Although I am ready to leave, I’m not. @kimoclevenger808 ‘s going away breakfast. He was part of a great office and team of people that helped keep him sane while I was deployed. None of the things they said about him surprised me, both positive and questionable 😂 I’m thankful he was able to finish out Ramstein on a high note! • Being married isn’t easy, but being married while being active duty military to another active duty military member can be rough!
