junhee might be the most beautiful man i've ever seen, only rivaled by doyoung. And i love doyoung's covers, he's such a good singer. a.c.e also has some of the best covers i've heard too, you should listen to their cover of youngblood!

Keonhee is really one of the cutest kpop boys, i adore him so much. And i understand the pull toward yeosang, he's such a lovely and beautiful dork.

have you checked out some new artist for the mission? i chose wei. i have a long list of groups i wanna get to know more but i chose wei because i hadn't heard a single song from them before. i listened to all their songs on spotify and watched their mvs. their spring day cover too. twilight mv was extra pretty. i like them. i wouldn't say i stan but i did add some songs to my playlist and i'll check them out when they have a cb again. are you familiar with wei?

Hi!! So far it's been good, i've both worked a little and had some time off and hung out with friends. I even went and picked berries and made raspberry jam!!

Glad to hear it! Funny comps are the best. The one that made the a.c.e one has made several hilarious ones for different groups. She even made one for ateez, you should check it out! And yeah, he is. He's also so embarrassing, he's always doing stuff that makes me question stanning him lmao.

I haven't yet. I haven't really been home this week so, haha. And i've more or less decided not to get into any more groups now. I don't have time lol. But yeah, wei is really tugging my heart in their direction. I hadn't listened to them before their latest comeback, but since i've heard about them i decided to check their new mv out and i really liked it. I've listened to bye bye bye so much since then. And they seem like such a nice group to get into but i really don't have the time... So yeah, that's where i'm at. Actively avoiding getting into more groups.

It still hasn't sunk in? It just feels unreal. I've been here for members leaving groups before, and you never really see it coming. It is the worst feeling. And now we have so little information. I just hope he and the rest of the members are okay...

Haha, i have a lot of stupid moments too. One of the main reasons i stand these idiots it's because they're well, idiots. The guitarist and drummer of n.flying even have a youtube-channel called 2idiots, i can really recommend that. Lot's of stupidity, and they bring the other members and their manager into it too. This is just one of my fave 2idiots video. 

Then we have this iconic seoho moment from their debut show with onewe when he kicks a football that bounces back and hits him in the head. It’s hilarious, i just rewatched it and i can’t stop laughing. 

Or for a.c.e there’s this amazing edit that i watched so many times now that has several of their most idiotic moments. If you wanna get into a.c.e it’s a great video. Also the edit is hilarious, i seen it several times and i still laugh until i cry.

i've had a rough couple of days in my personal life so i don't really have the energy to think much or socialise right now. i'm fine tho, don't worry about it, im just saying.

so mission whatever number. tbh i'm dumdum and idk how i'm supposed to send you links to vids in an ask. i'm just gonna say what comes to mind first. for ateez im gonna say the kq fellaz perf vid number one. i haven't actually watched that in a while now but i've watched it a million times in the past. i'm a sucker for choreo ig. one for yeosang and everglow is that video of them dancing the first choreo together. love it when my faves meet. another one from the same category would be that one time of mc soobin and ateez and soobin getting distracted and straying from the script bcs of yeosang's arms lol. my bias checking out my other bias, love it. yeosang eating a chocolate croissant and smearing chocolate all over his face.

basically all my brain can deliver rn is yeosang.

also i'm currently obsessed with sf9 taeyang so i'm gonna list *him* as a fave moment.

Nah, it's not very clear how to do that, so don't worry. If you mark a word/sentence you can choose to make that word/sentence into a link. But i think i'll find them anyway! I think i've seen them all, at least the yeosang moments with everglow and mc soobin i've seen gifs from, love them. And ateez choreo is always a fave. Don't think i know the yeosang croissant moment? Anyway, valid with only yeosang moments.

And yeah, taeyang is a whole moment himself, i can relate to that.

So the first thing that came to mind is the jaehyun's performance at kbs song festival 2019. It's iconic. One of my all-time favorite kpop moment. And while we're talking about n.flying i have to say all their covers, but two i always come back to are into the unknown and 白日

With a.c.e it's the videos i've already talked about lol. So jindo arirang and youngblood. A oneus moment i love is their collab with the boyz on rtk. I love it so much.

There are probably more moments that i can't remember right now. I have a lot of moments i love with other groups too, but if i start listing them we'll be here all day lol.

i watched all the mvs you mentioned, even the ones i'd seen before. ace's arirang was gorgeous, watched it twice, thanks for the rec!

i've committed a kpop sin. i've listened to quite a bit of cix, all of their discog at least once and have a bunch of their songs on my playlists, love jungle for example, but i've never watched any of their mvs?! how foolish of me! jungle mv was amazing. also i'm too uneducated to understand it fully i'm sure. burn it was too short. even the full drama version. i wanted more of it. both of them went straight to my fave mvs playlist no doubt about it.

yeah paranoia is really cool! i like side effects too but i think it's mostly bc it's one of my fave skz tracks and also that one scene with hyunjin and seungmin in it which i love for some reason, it just hits all the right corners in my brain, i'm weird, i fixate on the littlest things. power and awkward silence are soo fun thanks for inspiring me to watch them again. the real was a really fun mv from the ones that were new to me. had to add that to my playlist too.

I realised after i've sent the last answer that i completely forgot to mention pentagon under bright and goofy mvs! They have some of the best goofy mvs, like naughty boy and humph. I don't know how i could forget them. Shame on me really.

ok so on the topic of music videos. i don't remember if i listed mvs as to why i love kpop but they are a huge part. i have a yt playlist for my fave kpop mvs, it's about 100 vids and i'm positive it's missing gems since i'm still so new to kpop and i definitely haven't seen everything. i like to rewatch mvs a lot.

once again it's hard to list any fave mvs without it ending up being a mile long list. i love so many. i think i'm generally into ones with lots of cool choreo but i do like some other kinds too, like story driven a la bts spring day. other faves are stray kids god's menu, taemin advice (choreo! outfits! styling! back up dancers!), bts mic drop and fake love and blood sweat and tears, ateez thanxx (vibrant is what i would call it), bts stay gold (it's so pretty and colourful and hopeful, gives me good vibes), enhypen drunk-dazed (the vampire concept and i lovelove the choreo and outfits), everglow first, agust d daechwita and bts idol (both have these traditional korean influences which i love), onlyoneof libido (besides the sultry choreo i love the daring themes for a korean group), red velvet peek-a-boo, bts black swan (gorgeous location and dance plus they all look so damn good in all black), ateez illusion (always brings a smile to my face, love the cute pastel concept with dark undertones in the lyrics), exo obsession (creepy and badass and i love it), hyuna i'm not cool (little bit weird in the best way), so many of nct mvs like simon says and kick it and make a wish and cherry bomb and uhhh maybe i should stop here. it ended up being a messy mile long list anyway, i apologise. i don't really know how else to say what i love in mvs. does these even give any kind of general view on what i like? idk. i don't think i dislike anything? maybe i just don't fixate that much on things i don't like, so i forget about them.

Wow, that's quite a list, but don't apologise! I also think mvs are one of the reasons kpop is so interesting. They put so much into them, the production value must be insane. You've listed a lot good ones! Love the camera work and the cuts in skz's god's menu. And i also love mvs with traditional korean concepts/influences like idol, daechwita, oneus' lit, and a.c.e's goblin (favourite boys). (if you love traditional korean concepts you should check out a.c.e's version of arirang if you haven't seen it already, it's mind-blowingly good).

I especially have two mvs i will never shut up about. The first one is cix's jungle. It's just stunning in every way. The concept is fantastic, it's inspired by dante's divine comedy. It has some of the most beautiful scenes i've ever seen in a mv. And the choreo cuts are great, just the fact that they're dancing in water hhhhhnnnnn.

The second one is golden child's burn it. It's not even a mv, it's a wholeass zombie movie. It's so cool and beautiful and just heartbreaking. I almost cried when i saw it the first time.

I think i especially like mvs with a storyline. I find those more interesting. Honorable mentions are monsta x's all in and stray kids' side effects. Oh, and onlyoneof's libido, bc holy shit, that was something else. But then i also have a big soft spot for bright and goofy mvs, i love those. Like n.flying's the real and hot potato, skz's awkward silence and get cool, astro's breathless, and exo's power.

Oh, and i also have to mention kang daniel's paranoia, that one blew me away. And onewe's rain to be, love what they did with that one.

hiya! mission two time. ult biases is even harder to answer than ult groups. i'm not sure i even have any ult bias. no, i'm pretty sure i don't. i just have biases if even that. maybe later in my kpop stan life when i have literally 100 biases i may have ults too lol. do you have ult biases? or biases? who are they? tbqh i'm not even super into the whole bias culture. i do have them but i'm not that hc about them and the lines between biases and bias wreckers and everyone else are kinda fickle. my biases from the groups i mentioned are yeosang, soobin and sunoo. i don't really have a bias in everglow, they're all so equally lovely.

i'm thinking about what to rec. for everglow i'd suggest the mini album that includes la di da and has a way too difficult name for me to remember. i think it's really solid. for other songs maybe no lie and please please. if i start listing more songs i might as well rec their whole discog since it's still so small. 10 months is my fave enhypen song so definitely that one from them. and in case you havent heard fever i'd suggest that too. maybe even their japanese song forget me not, i think it's really different from thei korean songs.

If you asked me a few months ago i wouldn't been able to name an ult bias. Now i probably have to admit that jun (a.c.e) and doyoung (nct) have a special place in my heart, haha. I'm just so stupidly gone for them it's not even funny. But i also have biases in every group i stan, which i can't even count now, haha. But somewhere around 20 biases? lol. But of course i still love every member in every group i stan! My biases are just the ones i vibe with a bit more, the ones that simply caught my eye. (let me know if you want me to list all of them, since they're so many, hahah)

In the groups i mentioned my biases are jun, hun and keonhee. And in ateez my bias is yunho! I don't really have a txt bias (yet) but it's leaning toward soobin or beomgyu.

I'm listening to the songs you recommended as i answer this. i liked the everglow album you recommended, and please please was such a nice song. No lie was also good (it reminds me of another song that i can't pinpoint right now). 10 months had a really good vibe, i'll probably add that to my playlist. I liked forget me not best! It definitely was a bit different from other enhypen songs i've heard before.

Glad you liked it! Awesome is one of my favourite songs with them, especially the live version. It's their debut song, but since hweseung wasn't with them from the start i really like the live version, bc i think his voice really adds to the song.

i really just wanted to say that you have cool ults and that they're like all groups i'd like to get to know more. i've listened through the whole a.c.e discography but i usually need more time to really find my fave songs. i also recently started watching light on me and i didn't know a.c.e did an ost song for that so it came as a total surprise in that one ep and i love spark.

then i've listened to some random n.flying album (mini album, ep whatever) and i really liked at least two songs on that, one of them was titled pardon i think. if you have any n.flying song or album suggestions for me i'd gladly take them.

Yes, pardom is such a good song! I can really recommend flowerwork, and especially the live version. All their live versions are amazing. If i would pick two live versions i would say listen to flowerwork and awesome! For an album my fave is prob their japanese album brotherhood, it's so good.

my ults. it's kind of a difficult question to answer. i'm not sure where to draw the line between ults and the rest but let me try. i think right now the list could be ateez, txt, enhypen and everglow.

why? well. i like their music the most? i think that's the main reason here. also i like their mvs and choreo and members and concepts. i esp like ateez' pirate and enhypen's vampire concepts. everglow's badass girl crush concept is really up my alley. sounds a bit shallow maybe but i enjoy looking at beautiful people too so all idols being super pretty doesn't hurt.

i got into kpop through bts, like they opened that world for me, so that's kind of the answer to how i've found any kpop group or solo i like. most likely wouldn't be here stanning or even listening to any of them without bts. other than that i just come across them on spotify or youtube. actually now that i'm thinking about it i think i first heard about ateez through a casual friend who likes them too.

Mood on where to draw the line between ults and just every other group i love lol. I also love ateez, if you asked me like a year or so ago i probably would've named them as one of my ults. Really like txt too, i'm always thinking that i should watch more of their content, bc they are hilarious. I've listen to at least the title tracks and seen the mvs of both enhypen and everglow, but i don't know all of the members yet. But i do enjoy the music and choreos of both groups! (the amount of times i've had ladida or bon bon chocolate playing in my head on repeat...)

For the longest time i didn't really have a ult group. I love so many of them and depending on who had a comeback i payed most attention to them atm. But now i have landed in that my utls probably are a.c.e, n.flying and oneus (i almost started listing off my close seconds, but then this answer would never end lmao).

As for why, hm... With a.c.e it's just the seer amount of talent. They're one of the most stable vocal groups, their dance and choreos are amazing, and their concepts are mindblowing. With n.flying it's the music, they never miss. If i would have to pick just one group to listen to the rest of my life it would be n.flying. They're also five idiots and i love them a stupid amount. With oneus it's much the same. They've never had a bad comeback and the members are fantastic, never a boring moment.

Like you i found kpop through bts. My little sister introduced them to me and the rest is history lol. I fell down a kpop hole. Most groups i also found through youtube or tumblr posts. N.flying tho i found after they did a weekly idol episode with day6. Came for day6, left with n.flying, haha

i'm sort of glad i wasn't a fan yet when they left. i mean i can't call myself a mx stan but skz was the first group i fell in love with after bts so woojin leaving would've felt awful. i lived through zayn leaving one direction, so i can imagine what it would've been like.

i'm glad you liked at least some of the songs i linked. that's a success. i understand not wanting to watch/listen to woojin. i was unsure if i should add it because i had a feeling you could very well feel like that but in the end it's a nice song so i did it anyway. but still, i understand. and yeah kim yohan is a wei member. i found that song when i listened to wei for the mission. i take it you were positively blown away by bewhy? 😄 he's cool. i found him through his banger of a theme song for sweet home.

day6 - i knew i'd love it when the drums came in. straight to my playlist. day6 is one of those groups i wanna listen more but they intimidate me because they've been around for some time already so i just keep putting it off.

ikon - i'm not sure about this. i liked the wordless chorus(?) and bobby's last verse or whatever it was. i'm not familiar with music terms. this could grow on me.

winner - don't hate it, don't love it either. ok song. cool mv.

n.flying - yes! another one for my playlist thank you very much

cix - yup i like this a lot, it was already in my playlist

onf - another already familiar song, but this was my first time seeing the mv too, that was fun! it's a nice song, i like the ooh eh oohs in the bridge(?) and the acappella part is cool, but idk if i would add this to any playlists.

oneus - i've seen this before and i love it! i was about to ask you what this oneus theatre thing is but galaxy brain me googled it instead so i'm less confused about it now. the visuals! the mad max aesthetic is awesome.

It's never fun with idols leaving, bc either 1. we get almost no information (woojin and love), 2. it's for something that shouldn't warrant them leaving (wonho and b.i), 3. they're hurt or sick (hwall) or 4. they're actually bad people...

The whole woojin situation was just weird and there's been so many rumors that i don't know what to believe. It's a shame tho bc i really liked his voice and he's a good performer. But i don't feel comfortable listening to him anymore.

Judging from this i would say our taste in music is a bit different haha. But i'm glad you especially liked the bands! Everyone should listen more to kbands, they're great. Out if all the groups i follow it's the kbands music i enjoy the most. They never miss. Day6's finale was my most listened song on spotify last year. I looped it all the way home after i'd seen them live last year in january. So from amsterdam to sweden i listened to nothing else lol. It will most likely been on at least top 10 this year too, bc it's one of my biggest comfort songs. Let me know if you want more kband recommendations! Especially day6 if you've wanted to get in to them.

And the acapella part in beautiful beautiful is one of my fave parts in any kpop song ever. Beautiful beautiful is probably my fave comeback this year so far, i just love it so much. It makes me so happy. I'm so excited for their comeback today! Even though i won't have time to see and listen to it until tonight.
