Cloud wanted to surprise Tifa with breakfast. This was something he’d been planning for a long time, she didn’t know he could cook at all. She didn’t know he knew how to make a home cooked southern breakfast. That was his plan as him and the kids quietly, started getting the pots and pans out to start cooking. When the two of them had figured out, that he was planning this-- he chose to allow them to help. He’d be doing the actual cooking part of it though. It made him happy to see them, working together to make such a large meal. 

There was giggling and hushed talk, about Cloud and how he liked Tifa. It was embarrassing but cute at the same time. He didn’t deny it either and they were thriving off, the idea of him actually liking Tifa. He started cooking the eggs and bacon, all the while-- the kids were watching everything he did. They would break the eggs for him and get the dishes out. They were actually working together as a family to get this done. Cloud didn’t think he would, ever admit it but-- he did long for this to be his family. Tifa and these two wonderful kids.

                   He’s refused to let her have coffee, instead setting a mug of hot chocolate by her cereal and affectionately tickling her cheek with one of her braids. She just wants to try it! So as soon as he gets up to check on something, she grabs the mug and downs the whole thing.

                  It’s overrated and kinda tastes like dirt.

I actually just started shipping Cloud and Tifa this week. It’s the first straight ship, I’m actually okay with trying with Cloud. Of course ‘m cool with it. I’d love to try and see where it would go.
