This past weekend I was contacted by a nurse asking if I had any button headbands to donate. I told her I was all out, but could make her some. With all requests, I ask that they send me a photo of their hospital ID. Her name happened to be Aimee - spelled the same as me. She works at a hospital in New York. I asked how many she needed and asked if 10 was too many. I told her I'd stuff as many as I could into a package. Not sure how many i ended up making. I went to Steve's tornado sale at Super Textiles. It was so sad to see the building completely destroyed. He pulled fabrics from the building and lots of buttons. I bought these to support him, not because I needed them. He said he plans to do it again next weekend, but depends on the weather.
