clicked on the lgbt mental health app ad. the ai advice thing (stupid. dumb.) is pre vetted so like. I guess the question becomes do you trust the ~medical professionals~ behind the curtain. and to that i say a resounding no <3

#surely no therapist could give worse advice than an ai chatbot! states directly into camera #it’s simply that the examples of ai getting stuff horribly wrong have already happened to me with real doctors so like #but like if you acknowledge that one you have to reckon with the fact that the people mental health apps are being marketed to #have nowhere safe to ask for help. because the apps are shit and a lot of doctors therapists etc!!! are shit!#going to delete this later lol #vent tag etc
