- i wish i didn’t have to split this part into 3 there’s too many gd freakshows in golden wind (also lots of dragons this part i just realized)

- once again, the arrow is way more unpredictable here than in canon, it’s effects could range from slightly improved physical abilities to creating a weird shadow creature to making someone an alicorn

- Chariot stabbed himself with the arrow before dying, but he was able to possess the magic turtle shell before disappearing, which he just lives in after that. the stabbing allowed his strong determination to keep the arrow away from Devil Darner manifest into a physical form, Requiem

- speaking of Devil the reason he wants the arrow in the first place is cause he sees anyone else having it as a threat, instead of whatever happened in canon

- Requiem was based on the pony of shadows kinda, it’s more of an apparition than anything. Devil (who has also ended up as a kind of phantom similar to ghosty Sombra) gets rid of him in a weird spirit battle kinda thing and reverts all the soul swaps. Devil stays in this form though, which is how Glory is able to throw him out of space-time in the first place

- (the whole phantom thing is supposed to be like when he was just a stand and possessing people and stuff) the diavolo fight and the requiem stuff still confuses me honestly lmfao

Be warned none that I talk about a very real mental health issue in this due to Sigma's lore. (DID - Dissociative Identity Disorder, for Sigma it is caused by the Blackhole splitting his mind and the trauma Talon caused, I speak of this to keep his character close to canon as the wiki mentions it as a possibility. Not all cases are the same.)

Sigma is a broken man but can be sweet despite the personalities he swaps around due to his blackhole accident.

He treats the affection he has for you as another curiosity he must explore, it's all like an experiment!

Regardless on if he's platonic or romantic with you he treats his feelings as something to be studied.

He wouldn't hurt you as two of his personalities are harmless, the more violent persona is typically triggered if he feels you could be in danger.

Blame Talon for that one.

At times Sigma is oblivious to the fact his affection for you is wrong.

Another continues to treat his adoration and the compatibility between you as another experiment to soothe his broken mind.

So for the most part he's harmless, if not oblivious to the crimes he's committed not only for you but for Talon.

Sigma often shows his affection by rambling to you.

Most of the time it's hypothetical nonsense questions that you answer to humor him with.

Sigma often acts as a kind friend and old scientist who seems harmless.

However, in the past he has been wired to be a weapon.

He is a man who has killed before and could do it again.

Despite this... he holds you with such care and laughs when he speaks to you.

You manage to make the melody in his head silence itself to a buzz for just a little while.

He looks to you for comfort.

Sombra, a close friend of his, even appreciates how you soothe her tormented friend's mind.

The most he may hurt you is holding you in place with hia powers.

Even then when you remain calm he'll snap out of it and act confused.

As I've said before he never recalls the criminal things he does.

Doesn't make it right though.

Sigma shows possessive behavior at times as he's never far from you.

He even asks Sombra to watch you to keep you safe.

He's gone through a lot himself and would be devastated if someone did the same to you.

Sombra grows concerned about Sigma's behavior over time, but still keeps an eye on you.

She doesn't entirely enable him but also doesn't discourage him in his obsession.

She knows you help him remain sane enough to function.

Sombra will prevent harm from coming to you... as long as you help Sigma.

If Sigma lost you, he may never be the same.

He's an unstable man already, an obsession may make things worse.

He just gets so curious about you which is why he enjoys all of your chats.

He acts like nothing's wrong.

Even after all the murder... and your kidnapping.

As a result his obsession makes you have mixed feelings.

Sigma clearly needs help... but people only ever want to use and abuse his mind.

Be it for information or... well... a weapon.

Really, you and Sombra are the only people he can turn to.

Maybe that's why he clings to you so closely.

Words cannot describe how excited I am for the Mirror Universe so I'm going to make a bit of a prediction on what we might be getting with the battle pass;

I think it's safe to say the well be getting Reaper, Soldier, Widow and Tracer skins, Reaper, Soldier and Widow are actually my picks for the Mythic skin for that season.

However for the skins in total I think we would probably be getting;

Even though a mirror universe isn't a role swap I do think that they would go with paralleling characters, specifically to show the difference between this universe and canon.

I think we'll also be getting an Arcade game mode similar to what we got with Starwatch, this game mode could take place in a re-skinned Watchpoint Gibraltar. Changing in from a Overwatch base to a Talon base, I could see this mission either being a rescue mission or an infiltration mission.

I think we could also be getting a new Map, either a Talon Base or another Overwatch Watchpoint.

New Recruit Pt. 7 ⋆ ˚｡⋆୨୧˚

Summary: As Sombra reveals some important information, someone overhears from a distance ₊ ⊹

Flipping through the page of your book, the 3rd one you had gotten to be precise, you just could not concentrate. Your mind was too fixated on her, Amélie. Ever since your encounter last night, an odd sense of lust has plagued your day to day life. You were starting to go more crazy now that she wasn’t around, you felt so safe around her.

The thought of her laying on top of you flashed in your mind over and over, the way her lips felt on yours made your mouth water at the sensation. You squeezed your legs together, the scene replaying in your mind.

“I’m back, finally!” A voice you recognized called out, it was Sombra. You quickly turned around in your chair, trying to look as normal as possible.

“Did you miss me~?” She asked in a playful tone, sitting down on your bed. You smiled, bringing up your knees close to your chest.

“A bit to be honest, what’s up?” You asked.

“I needed to talk to you, Y/N” Sombra immediately switched the tone from happy to concerning. You were still shocked at how quick she could change up the atmosphere, wether for better or for worse. Now knowing this wasn’t going to be as wholesome as her last visit, you begun to be worried. You tilted your head to the side, indicating you were curious about what she had came here for.

“Listen, im really not supposed to say this, but I want to help you… help you escape.” You unintentionally gasped in response, leaning back a bit. Was this it? Was this when you got to go home?

“Really- How- What if they can hear us-?”

“Don’t worry, I disabled all of the cameras and audio equipment for the time being, they won’t know a thing.” Now slightly relived, you leaned back into your chair, bringing one of your hands to your cheek.

“Listen up. That stuff Moira has been giving you is a newly developed drug to turn people into salves- literally. I have seen it on other test subjects. They are going to brainwash you, Y/N” Your hand dropped down to your mouth. You couldn’t belive what you were hearing, and it just seemingly came out of nowhere. They weren’t just recruiting you, but you were being used as a test subject this whole time?

“How- How can I trust you?” You were terrified, not wanting to believe what she had to say. You felt like that substance would take full control any second now, you didn’t know what to do.

“What would I gain from lying to you? I already lost Sigma…, and I don’t want anyone else to suffer at the hands of Talon.” You felt as though she was telling the truth, the sincerity in her voice reminded you of Widow.

“Now listen, in a week or so, I bet you will start to feel the effects of it. You need to get out before they can take full control-”

A million thoughts raced through your head at once. You were already planning on escaping when the time was right, but if that drug Moira used on you was for brainwashing, who knows what you could become subjected too. You stared down at the ground, palms sweaty, mind racing.

“Moira is gonna send you out on a special mission just when the substance should start to kick in. I can disable your ear piece signal to make it seem like you’re dead, and in the meantime I could try to swap out that-” Sombras voice came to a halt when your door started to open. It felt like your heart had skipped a beat, literally. And a second later, she had disappeared, probably using her invisibility to sneak out, you thought. You quickly spun around on your chair, facing the door. To your relief, Widowmaker walked in. Your heart melted at the sight of her, she smiled.

“Salut… I don’t mean to barge in on you like this, but I was wondering if you wanted to train together like yesterday?” She asked with a delicate tone in her voice. Your guys’s moment got cut short last night when she had to run off for some meeting. You couldn’t help but wonder, was this her trying to flirt? Does she wanna kiss you again?

“I’d love that!”

“ARUGGH-” You screamed out painfully, landing on your back. She got you good, successfully taking you down twice in a row. Though nothing romantic has happened yet, you were still enjoying her company.

“Fuck- Amélie… you got me good” You said in a shaky breath as you slowly propped yourself up. She stood with her hands on her hips, smirking at the sight.

“Is it ok if we discuss something?” She said reluctantly out of no where, taking back her fighting stance.

“Sure, what is it?” You asked as you two stared to brawl again.

“Well… I heard your conversation with Sombra earlier today…” You took a step back and stopped completely, thinking this was it for you. You didn’t want to believe that what Sombra said was true, but if so, nobody else could know you had access to that sort of information.

“Act normal. They will suspect us.” She whispered into your ear, backing up and getting ready for another match.

You didn’t know what was coming. Would she report you to the guards, or take your stance in the matter? For now, you just had to wait and hear her out before all would be revealed. Yet, you couldn’t help but wonder if this would be the end for you. You threw a punch, a sloppy one at best, before Widowmaker dogged effortlessly.

“I can confirm that it’s true, I’ve heard upperranks discussing the liquid. I’m- nevermind, that’s not important- What Im trying to say is that I want to help.” A wave of relief overtook your body when she said that, yet the whole situation was still stressing you out. Not to mention, you were trying to dodge all of her attacks while processing everything at the same time.

“Please- Widow… Thank you. I Just want to get out of this place before it’s too late” You didn’t quite know what you were begging for.

“Don’t worry, I’ll discuss it with Sombra later. But before then, you just got to stay safe, d’accord?” You nod.

ok so like the entire existence of the game is fucking abhorrent theres so many things to complain about idek 😊 but like since i mainly play dva, widow, kiriko im gonna complain in their pov. so like for tank, roadhogs ENTIRE existence is just hair pulling worthy and if the hog is good good u NEED an ana and/or kiri but SOME 😊 support players REFUSE to switch to someone good and then go cry ab how theyre tank is ass especially since the tank i play is dva and shes a dive/brawl tank u physically cannot dive with a hog cuz he just hooks u AND he can HEAL HIMSELF WTF i hate hog sm i cant even. also mauga AUUUHHH hes so annoying not nearly as bad as his meta (traumatizing) if u have an ana or some tank buster but hes still kinda annoying but vv rarely. also just fucking hate the counter swaps like u cant play tank and not counter if the enemy does

SPEAKING OF COUNTER SWAP OMG as a widow, sombra and genji are the bane of my existence and venture i fucking hate venture. i hate genji cuz im ass 🤭 genji is like so useless hes SO bad rn i just hate him cuz im petty. venture boops SM and they are such an annoying counter to widow its so ass maybe id like them more if theyre voice and face were more fucking pleasing. and sombra… u dont play ow but the best way to explain sombra is if u dont have a kiriko or a brig she is satan himself. she can go INVISIBLE she can take away ur abilities and she’s jsut really ass

and playing support really opens ur eyes at how stupid some people can be. ive had tanks FLY to the other side of the map and then complain i didnt heal them. and dps who have like 2 kills and 9 deaths say im ass when im like 15-5. but like in general junkrat is fucking annoying too but hes easily counterable so its ok HOWEVER 🤯 moira is the easiest character in the game and she does sm and for what?? reapers also annoying, did i mention roadhog, zen’s discord orb is one of the WORST things in the game rn, cass’ nade is so WACK, orisa is kinda annoying but she got nerfed so not anymore, mercy mains who are one tricks are fucking insufferable as well, hanzo’s lucky ass shots piss me off 2, THE TURRETS OMG. torb and sym turrets are so ass, not THAT ass since theyre easy to destroy but still.

AND BAP OMG BAPTISTE, why can a support do so much damage and heal sm at the same time?? and he was damage boost and invulnerability in the same kit?? what was blizzard cooking?? he is so annoying 🙄🙄 anyway sombra, bap, and hog mains biting the curb 4k. I HATE THIS GAME but i love so many of the characters to just drop it😓 the characters are amazing the only reason i havent stopped

I know a mirrorverse AU season theme would always fall short of expectations just because people want *every* character to be a part of it and that's clearly just not how these seasonal events work, but at this point I more so don't know how to feel about the game mode itself.

I always enjoy when they get to experiment with whacky new ability ideas for existing heroes (yes I'm aware a lot of these and the april fool's changes are probably just reusing... y'know) but it feels like they didn't quite go as far as they probably could have and should have.

The mode actually replicates normal role queue Overwatch with normal maps and everything, which is honestly more than I was expecting, but what is lacking is the roster size. 3 tanks, 5 damage, 4 supports. That's it. Not unplayable, but you get bored quickly since you can't swap roles mid-game, which feels like such a weird choice for an arcade event mode. The characters chosen are weird too, since your options are the 3 who got Overwatch skins, the 5 Talon skins, Null Sector Zenyatta... and then Gwinshin Bastion and *Stealth* Echo?? Y'know, one of her default legendary skins because heroes used to have those. I mean I think Bastion is a smart use of an old cool skin that fits the theme, but that Echo is an odd choice. What's more bizarre is that not all the mirrorwatch skins that we did get are in the mode. No Hashimoto Hanzo or Kiriko (tragic I know), and no Junker Symmetra or Genji. Also no Junker D.va, which again feels like a missed opportunity to make use of another old skin. There's probably other old skins I'm not thinking of that would fit the theme, but no others are coming to mind. Maybe Monk Ramattra?

Now for the actual mirrorverse reworks, I'm mixed on them overall. My main issue is that some of the DPS have support-like abilities but no healing, and *all* the supports have changes that push them more towards damage. The tanks feel fine enough I think, and half the DPS are fine, but man I do kinda wish they went all the way and... oh i dunno... do more full reworks to swap some hero roles entirely? Like hey, Sombra feels like more of a support with her friendly hack and debuffing virus, while Widowmaker has a barrier instead of venom mine...

...hey wait a minute.

Well folks, if you wanted Role Requeue to come back then... too bad it's still not gonna, but if it's any consolation this mode... *kinda* has the same spirit. Vaguely. In a couple places.

Actually the real highlight I'll say is Bastion's ult. Not gonna say what it is, just check it yourself or look it up if someone has footage of it already. Trust me it justifies this whole event.

But yeah, it's not hard to at least entertain me with any kind of ability reworks, but this mode has some weird missed potential. The cast is tiny, there's a lot of unchanged voice lines that break the "illusion" of the mode, and the kits don't feel as cohesive as they could be and almost feel like a retread of April Fool's but with marginally higher production value. Shoot, Bastion just has his shotgun from a few weeks ago all the time in this mode. Not complaining, I endorse laziness if it leads to something enjoyable, but the mode just misses the mark in the weirdest ways. I really wish they give this event a "round 2" later on even with just a few more heroes, maybe changing some roles or other details around with the existing ones. I don't think it's awful as-is, but it has a lot more potential than other similar recent event modes.
