The elf had eyes as black as night, those orbs shifted to look at the human and greet him with a slight nod. Yet face remained cold as stone, pale and noble, with long black hair tied on top of his head with a silver hairpin. It fell down his noble back, as black as his robes. It created an illusion of where hair begins and where it ends, it looked as if it was one with robes.

"Len suilannon" He gave a formal greeting in return. So a human, no not pure human this was the Dunedain. Rivendell's master favored their kind. Sennin's faithful horse Firefoot, close to his side. The horses of the Elves were directly descended from Nahar, the steed of Oromë, Huntsman of the Valar. Half-wild Elf-horses that Fëanor brought to Middle-earth. Sennin's father, are now used and mixed with human breeds. Firefoot is a dappled gray,  he lives in wooded areas, as his master did. Elven horses were more intelligent than most horses. There was no need to raise them with a bit or bridle, for they were empathetic and perceptive enough to receive directions from their riders without these crude devices. And so this one walked next to his master as if he understood his every step, every word and breath.

The world got gentler races more tolerable for each other. He felt out of place in this new world, like a relic of the past long gone. Still, there was a danger and he had to hide his true identity. In this world, he went by the name Shisui. He took an eastern name. Sennin Swiftbolt was born in Aman illuminated by the light of the two trees Telperion and Laurelin. The three clans that lived in Aman were the Vanyar, Ñoldor, and the Teleri. Sennin Swiftbolt (Shisui) was born to Ñoldor clan.

He witnessed the gruesome sin his father committed to return the Silmarills. And Sennin took part in it. Sennin Swiftbot looked a lot like his father, which brought up a bit of suspicion in elders. Like His father was exceptionally beautiful, even among his kind. He had the typical physical characteristics of the Elves, including tall stature, fair complexion, and an ethereal glow about him. From elders, it was futile to hide anyway. Galadriel knew, Elrond as well, they kept his secret hidden. For Sennin now was the ancient elf living on Middle Earth's soil.

It was time to visit Rivendell.

A journey he did not make often, Candaith's post being in the Lone Lands. But he crossed the Last Bridge, made it through the Trollshaws, and finally came to Rivendell, the last homely house of the east, the only place Candaith went to these days where he didn't have to worry about being hunted, attacked, or ambushed.

So it was a relief, though he worried about that which he left behind: mainly the people that would be unprotected during his journey here. But he had made sure to shoot down any crows that might have seen him leaving, and he had cleaned out a great deal of orcs before he had left, so... he hoped all would be fine.

Upon making it to the gates, he came across an elf heading in as well. One that didn't look like your typical Sindarin elf, more Noldorin, which was interesting to say the least, and high-born at that, perhaps. Candaith couldn't tell. Though--he hadn't spent as much time with elves as some of his other kin.

"Mae lovannen," he said, greeting the elf in Sindarin, formally.

It’s funny because the people I work with have never really seen me go full Switfie before and I’m honestly scared for them. I’m off on holiday so the next time I see them will be like 3 days before the album drops and l had to warn them yesterday that the person that comes back won’t be me but will be an over emotional Swiftbot thrusting Reputation merch in their faces for weeks.

This is a self created problem. T likes to have the Swiftbots at her disposal to do her bidding when she feels someone has wronged her. I don’t believe I’ve ever seen her call off the dogs so to speak when they attack a supposed enemy of hers online. All she would need to do is make one post on one platform like the Rep Nashville pic and you’d be able to hear a pin drop on that side of the fandom

it’s so tough to contend with and balance out the act of celebration these days, with the world the way it is 😥 for sure a lot of dissonance. at the same time, as humans, finding ways mark small victories amid tumult is, i think, very important to maintaining our endurance.

as always i would love for taylor to be more outwardly friendly to karlie or do something more concrete to disarm people who have it stuck in their heads that as a swiftie they have to hate her specifically, because even if karlie was to say she can take all the hate, even if the distance that creates gives them some roundabout form of security, i dunno, at some point it morphs into something bigger than karlie.. nothing good comes from harboring that much hate for so long, it consumes a person.
